"SOS" - LIFE - DISTRESS ABUSE AND PERSECUTION

WE LIVE IN A CORRUPT WORLD and therefore, have the “effects and affects” of that corruption ever influencing, ever tainting and ever wooing the flesh. 
Let’s look at the definition of a key word I am going to use in this crucial message. Plumbline: a tool that consists of a small, heavy object attached to a string or rope and that is used especially to see if something (such as a wall) is perfectly vertical or in alignment)  
 
A plumbline is a simple but accurate tool used for determining whether or not something is perfectly vertical or upright. The Lord also used, and uses, a "plumbline," His Word, to determine how upright His people truly are in His sight.
How upright they think they are, or how upright they proclaim themselves to be, means nothing to God.
 "Behold, I WILL set a plumbline in the midst of My people".  -Amos 7:7 
 
A PLUMBLINE SET OUT BY THE HAND OF GOD IS ONE THAT WE CAN ANCHOR OUR HEARTS TO. 
It will always, always, ALWAYS, direct us to the truth in a matter; even if it requires pain, loss, persecution and perhaps death in areas we feel we may well have rights to. 
It will also be a shield, a balm, a comfort and a teacher to those who will yield to the directive positioning of the Master. 
 “I will make justice the measuring line 
and righteousness the plumbline.” 
-Isaiah 28:17 
 
I am by far not an expert on the subject of plumblines and righteousness, so take what I say in the light of one who at time gropes like a child in the dark, ever reaching for the hand of the ONE to lead me into a safe place filled with His Hope, His Mercy, His Light and Life.
 
LIFE – DISTRESS - AND PERSECUTION 
I have found that in my life, distress and persecution do not feel like God’s care being poured out on me. My heart is not immediately drawn to thanksgiving and gratefulness for the faithfulness of God on display as I cling to the battered pieces that look like potential “rafts” of hope, only to find out that many of them have gaping holes or slow leaks in them. 
Rather, it feels like yet another hurt is being permanently woven into my tattered and war-torn soul. It seems as if another mound of questions are piling up and just waiting for an answer and a true solid REAL anchor of hope. 
 
A Courageous, brilliant, humble servant of God and fellow female Counselor and minister of the Gospel has deeply impressed me and my approach to caring for and ministering to others. She spoke the following words boldly regarding pain, abuse, and the suffering of traumatic events.
Quoting Dr. Langberg,
"In the midst of the trauma and suffering I have also seen the work of the Redeemer. He fills his people with his life and in ordinary ways, little by little; they bring his hope and healing to a ruined world. Traumatized and caregiver alike are transformed. He works both ways as they bend together to bring his redemption to the ravages of evil. I know this to be true for he has done so in me.
I have learned many lessons over the years. I have listened to countless tragedies. Of one thing I am certain: unless we are gripped by the truths of the Cross of Christ in our own hearts and lives, the hope and power of the Cross will not pass from us to others. We cannot give what we do not have.  May love and obedience to the Son of Man so govern our personal lives that he can through us bring his life to this ruined planet." (End of quote)
 
I CAN REALLY CONNECT TO THE WRITER OF PSALM 42 
He said “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?” It’s at those very times that the words of the Savior are so important. When we are down and in turmoil. 
But, how do we connect the dots between what we know is true about God’s faithfulness and what our hearts feel? When flipped and flung around by the waves, weary from crying and when no answer seems at hand, what IS the answer? 
When my circumstances show many foes and tyrants rising up against me and my heart is prone to wander and fear, what hope is there of peace? 
When my feelings start controlling my thoughts, how can I rest in God’s promises? 
 
AT THIS POINT… I HEAR THE “GASPS”,  (and perhaps shocked comments of a few who are amazed that someone who "appears" to walk so fervently and intimately with the Lord) would have such difficulties! 
Well! Guess what?
I do struggle, I do hurt, and yes I do doubt when I have been side swiped or “rammed” by skilled cons and those who, although may have the appearance of godliness and offered friendship or fellowship, end up having private and evil agendas behind their well placed and planned schemes.
And boy oh boy! Those skilled players know the wicked art of wounding the heart and causing people to reel in pain! 
 
BUT, THERE IS ONE WHO FULLY SEES IT ALL 
The main skill in the issue of dealing with life as a spiritual person, is to know how to handle yourself when things not only crush and grind your heart, but what to do with the anguish and toll of their aftermath. 
We have to get ourselves into a place where we hear clearly again. 
We need have to address ourselves, preach to ourselves, and ask questions about ourselves. 
We must say to our soul: "Why are you cast down –Why are you so anxious and lacking in peace?" 
We must urge ourselves, and say ‘Hope in God’ – instead of remaining in this paralyzed, aching state!” 
 
AND THEN WE MUST TAKE IT A STEP FURTHER
We must go on to remind ourselves just “Who" God is, and what God is, and what God has done, and what God has promised that he Himself said that He would do. 
Having done that we can stand up and sing out strongly, defying the torment of the soul, and resist other people’s wicked tongues and arrogance, and refuse to go along with the devil and the whole world, and say: ‘Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.” 
 
The hope and promise of the fairness of God’s justice when dealing with the hurtful things and presumptions of others gives me the confidence to know that God will never turn away from me in my need. No matter how they seem to prosper in the short term, wicked men and women will ultimately pay for their sins, in this life or the next. Jesus died to meet my greatest hardships and sorrows for me, and I need to preach this to myself every day.
 
His power is greater than my weariness and suffering. 
The comforting and instruction that comes from simply running to feed upon His word instead of the toxic poison of the replaying of trauma reminds me that what Jesus has done is strong enough for my soul to rejoice in and to be set into a place where it can rest and regroup, gaining a healthy perspective about what to give out to others and what is simply…
…. To be enjoyed by the Lord Himself. 
 
THE NATURAL IMPULSES OF MANKIND ARE SINFUL AND DECEITFUL! 
Human willpower alone will never be able to change this. 
We need God's help to truly change our hearts. 
REMEMBER. You cannot change the heart of anyone else either. 
If you try to, you will feel the bite of stinging venom or be laughed out of a room. Only the power of the conviction of the Holy Spirit can permeate and get around the jam-packed hardhearted egos of the self sufficient and bitter. 
Jeremiah 17:9 says that the human heart is deceitful in all things and is even beyond cure!
 
We must be cautious and wise in reproving and warning such types of people about their bad behaviors and wicked actions where there seems to be no appearance or hope of change and where there is danger of experiencing great and heart wrecking retaliation and slander. 
 
THESE TYPES TRAMPLE THE WARNINGS AND URGING FOR REPENTANCE  and humbling of the heart under their feet, and turn again and slash at you, despising the warnings that are “tearfully and fearfully” given, and often hurt the persons who give them, either by words or deeds. 
 
"Don't waste what is holy on people who are unholy. 
Don't throw your pearls to pigs! 
They will trample the pearls, 
then turn and attack you.” 
-Matthew 7:6 
 
“GIVE ME THE FACTS MA’AM JUST THE FACTS”
I remember that phrase from a TV show called “Dragnet”. The detective would not allow the details of the case to be skewed by any assumptions or pontificating from those he interviewed. He stoically and firmly demanded only the facts. 
 
And so, here are the “facts” about the heart of a good man or woman.
1.) The good man or woman:
 Brings good things out of the good stored up in his/her heart.
 
And the facts about an evil man or woman. 
2.) The evil man/woman,
 Brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his/her heart.
For out of the overflow of his or her heart his or her mouth speaks. 
-Luke 6:45 
 
THE FRAILTY, BRIEFNESS, AND INSECURITY OF LIFE 
The frailty, briefness, and insecurity of life should hold down the vanity and presumptuous confidence of all of our projects and boasting about future greatness and bragging rights! We are always to depend on the will and leading of God. 
 
OUR TIMES ARE NOT IN OUR OWN HANDS, BUT ARE INSTEAD IN THE TIMING OF GOD. Our heads may be filled with cares and plans for ourselves, or our families, or our friends; but Divine intervention often throws our plans into bewilderment. All we have in mind, and all we do, should be with a humble and deep dependence on God.
It is foolish, and it is hurtful, to boast of trendy “latest happening” things and prospective projects, and it will bring great disappointment and will prove destructive to relationships and meaningful help to others in the end. 
 
“For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. 
These are not from the Father, but are from this world.” 
-1 John 2:16
 
LISTEN KINDLY - BEFORE SPEAKING YOUR THOUGHTS 
People don't need a lecture on the meaning of suffering or to have a barrage of scriptures “machine-gunned” at them as a reprimand for sharing their moment of grief or struggle! (Especially when their hearts are breaking, weary of the battle and if they are fatigued.)
Job could have done without some of the self-righteous answers that came from his “well-meaning” friends. All of the answers could have even been true, but Job didn't need to hear any of them. 
He needed their love, not their value judgments. 
In fact, it appears as if God judged THEM for trying to offer simple solutions to things that were beyond their comprehension. They had never walked in the loss he was in anguish over. 
 
WHEN WE SUFFER UNJUSTLY WE HAVE A MAJOR CHOICE TO MAKE
How will we respond? We can feel sorry for ourselves (and understandably so, for a while), become bitter and cynical, get drawn into a war of words, or even become mixed up in a major conflict.
On the other hand, we can take our suffering to the cross and allow our pain to draw us into a deeper place of understanding of what Jesus went though in his sufferings.
This does not remove the pain, but does help us to know what to do with our hurt. 
 
THIS IS THE 'FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SUFFERINGS (Philippians 3:10), one of the gateways to closeness with God and the release of his power in our lives. The weight of heartbreak shared with a loving friend cuts it in half. When the burden is shared with many friends, we can cope with almost anything.
We never feel more revitalized than when a friend loves us enough to walk with us in our pain. Not lecture us. 
 
The apostle Paul wrote these words to the church in Corinth: 
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God". -1 Corinthians 1.3-4 
 
SOMETIMES GOD GETS INVOLVED WITH DIRECT MIRACLES, 
Giving supernatural strength to those in need. But for the most part, he depends on us, his people, to do his work in the world. We love each other, work for healing, and suffer with those who suffer. 
The next time you see a friend who is suffering, Jesus may just invite you to be the warm embrace! We comfort each other with the comfort we have received in Christ. And when we do, we become the Body of Christ and he receives the glory! 
 
THE BIBLE IS CLEAR! 
We are to bear one another's burdens. 
We are to comfort others as Christ has given comfort to us. 
Your hard time becomes my hard time. 
We join hands in the journey. 
When you succeed, I succeed. 
When you suffer, I suffer. But we do it together. We share it together. 
And we do it, not so much in our wisdom or our words, but in our availability, our understanding, and through our presence. 
 
THAT'S WHAT FELLOWSHIP IS ALL ABOUT! 
But not “bland” fellowship.
It is CHRISTIAN fellowship. It is the business of burden bearing.
Authentic CHRISTIAN fellowship says that when you need me . . . I'll be there.
Support in suffering is at the core of what it means to share life together in Christ. The word for "comfort” is the same root word as the name Jesus used to describe one of the functions of the Holy Spirit in our lives (Paraclete). “I will be a comforter, one who comes alongside to give help.” And so as God comes alongside you, now you are able to come alongside another. As the Comforter is at work within you, so you also can be of comfort to those around you. 
 
WE ARE CALLED TO BEAR ONE ANOTHER'S BURDENS. 
To mourn with those who mourn.
To be a follower of Jesus means to come alongside people who are hurting and find ways to help them walk even through the valley of the shadow of death. We are called to do this, as the word of God and care of God is shared with the intention of stirring, plowing up hardened hearts, creating a place for repentance and challenging saints to hope again.  I know and believe that as we learn again as believers, to care, to truly listen and to hope fully again, that the sweet and heavy weight of HIS Glory will be made known and will manifest in unfettered and uncontrolled waves of worship and spontaneous adoration of the King of Heaven. 
 
MY FRIENDS IN CHRIST…
…LISTEN TO THESE NEXT WORDS I SHARE WITH YOU VERY CAREFULLY.
Toleration of sin, pretense, and crookedness do not reveal the character of God, even if they bear his name. 
Arrogance is never godly. 
Covering up sin is never godly. 
Abuse of power is never godly. 
Shepherds who feed on sheep are abusive. 
Leadership that preserves and protects the system, rather than the people, turns the house of God into a safe place for predators.
Exposure brings hope, because it brings the cancer to the light. 
To hide sin by cover-up or silent complicity is spiritual abuse.
 
HE REALLY DOES KNOW WHAT HE WANTS
Let's focus on bowing low and seeking His heart and plans in what matters to Him.
Indeed, HE is the Plumbline.
Jesus demonstrated in the flesh what a human being is to be like who bears God's image. He pursued the vulnerable, protected the little ones, and poured out compassion on the least of these.
Any dismissal of abuse, any baptizing of evil, any cover-up or denial is nothing like Him. 
Any discarding of the least of these or trampling of the vulnerable is an assault on God Himself—no matter the spiritual words used as an excuse.
 
AGAIN, I will share another phenomenal insight from Dr. LANGBERG regarding this matter.
She said these words in an article;
“You see, this Jesus had a passion for redeeming. 
For those who have been abused, and are suffering from its debilitating aftereffects, listen hard. 
There is hope for you-hope for healing and transformation. I know;
I come to you from the frontlines and have seen it happen countless times.
It takes courage, hard work, and there is no quick fix.
Such redemption was Jesus' master passion.
This God came to seek and redeem what has been lost. We must acknowledge and tell the truth about these things.
Great damage is being done to God’s sheep, in his name. 
He weeps over such leaders and the sheep they harm.
Be watchful. 
Recognize coercive and manipulative behavior.
 
CALL IT BY ITS RIGHT NAME WHEN SOMEONE IN POWER USES SPIRITUAL WORDS AND IDEAS TO SILENCE, CONTROL, AND INTIMIDATE. 
Be discerning about those who hold power—including yourself. 
Do not be deceived. 
May we, with Daniel, call out to God:
“O Lord, hear! O Lord forgive. O Lord listen and act.
For your own sake do not delay, because your church and your people are called by your name” (Dan. 9:19).
 
SO FRIEND. WHAT HAVE YOU LOST? 
Your voice?
The truth, drowned out by lies? 
Your life and its vibrancy, its strength, its giftedness? 
Your hope? 
God has said He is making all things new... and that includes you.
Devastation is, bit by bit, redeem-able. I know. I have had a front-row seat to God's redemptive power in my life, and for the record, one of the people He has done redemptive work in, is me.
My work with victims in ministry as well as teaching in schools has revealed to me who God is. Evil can be transformed in the life in which it occurred. That work is also redemptive in the one who walks alongside the broken vessel. Evil is then twice crushed.
May the Church of Jesus Christ repent of her pursuit of human externals and bend down, listen, and walk alongside trauma, abuse, racism, hatred, and a blind eye as did her Lord.  In doing so, we will bring joy to the heart of the Father. 
 
I’D LIKE YOU TO PRAY WITH ME BECAUSE RIGHT NOW,
I am sure that this touched several hearts, and maybe even made some fear come into some of you who are hiding things or who have abused others, and it’s time to come clean. 
It’s time to get the help that you need. 
 
So, I’d like to pray with all of you listening today.  I ask you to stop and be still.  Position your heart before the Lord as we bring this to him.
 
Prayer 
God, I ask in Jesus' name, that you comfort, strengthen and encourage all who are hurting deeply right now and are going through so much pain and heartache. 
Don't allow them to give up in the heat of the battle. 
Let them feel your arms wrapping around them and your love overflowing and filling them up. Lord, I will pray often and I know that you will hear my voice, even when I speak to You in my silent thoughts. 
To You, I am crying out and my prayers are now before You. 
Father, I give to You my problems, I do not want them. 
Father, please restore them to You. I know that you have compassion for your children. Father, show them your ways and teach them your paths. Lead them in your truth and teach them you are the God of our salvation and on you we will wait. 
Protect them from the evils of this life and guide them through all of their days. Father, thank You for hearing my prayer Father and for considering and for having compassion on all who hear and read these words, and all who hurt, in this troubled world we live in. 
Keep them in the center of Your love.

Creation Groans – We Groan – The Holy Spirit Groans 
“Why Waiting Is Sometimes Painful”

WELCOME TO THIS PODCAST EPISODE! 
As I promised, I had told you I was going to share a few podcasts and share a few wonderful stories and experiences that I have had where the Lord has divinely protected, orchestrated and guided my life and my husband Steve’s life. 
It’s been a very interesting and intriguing journey, and at times very perilous and not at all fun when it comes to the persecution side of things. 
 
For some reason, there are individuals who preach a gospel that say to the masses that follow them, “Everything is going to be rosy! Everything is going to be fully prosperous financially, and you’re going to be perfectly healthy every day of your life. Every single day of your life is one big, happy party!”
Well, for sure, this is not biblical foundational truth when you hear these things. 
 
If you examine the scriptures, you will see that there was a tremendous amount of persecution and much sorrow for strong believers, even some having to be driven into living into caves due to persecution! The apostle Paul speaks about learning how to abase and to abound, meaning, he learned how to function and adjust whether he had plenty or whether he had little. But, he continued to serve Christ and continued no matter how difficult the persecution became, to get back up, even after he was stoned one time and they left him for dead. He got back up and marched back into the city, met up with some dear friends, went to the next city and preached again! 
(Acts 14:19-21)
 
This Podcast Is Going To Discuss The Current Groaning Of Creation, 
Our Own Groaning And The Longing For God To Finally Complete 
The Fullness Of Things So That Christ Can Return, And Of Course 
The Holy Spirit Makes Groaning And Utterances Too Deep 
For Our Own Words, Travailing Through Us As We Pray.
 
Romans 8:26-27 tells us this! 
It says:
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.  
27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
 
ALL THREE OF THESE TYPES OF GROANING ARE TAKING PLACE RIGHT NOW.  It’s no secret if you know Steve and I that we have gone through a very difficult season starting a few months before the COVID-19 virus swept our world. With that taking place, we had the loss of our counseling Offices, our dear friend and team counselor/colleague and key supervisor, who carried the doctoral licensure for our Counseling Center died from Covid19. 
Adding to the difficulty, ministry invitations to teach and speak also came to a screeching standstill because people couldn’t travel and churches were suffering financially or were uncomfortable holding services.
 
WHAT IS ONE TO DO WHEN IT FEELS LIKE YOU’RE EXPERIENCING THE LIFE OF JOB OR JOSEPH OF THE OLD TESTAMENT? Certainly it’s not wise to pretend that everything is “perky and wonderful” and then lie to people when they too were suffering. 
No! We groaned and we wept and we encouraged and we prayed and prayed!  And then prayed some more with others who were suffering and going through the groanings of trauma and loss.
For the most part (and I’m truthfully speaking), I’m telling the partial story because the long version of the personal costs and deeper details would take entirely too long to share. I’m sharing openly and a bit vulnerably for a reason though! 
 
We personally had parents locked down in nursing homes over a thousand miles away that we could not get to and one of them died after being abused in that nursing home. Oh yes, we had police and investigators and detectives and even the state of Illinois health board investigating, but by the time they caught up with the perpetrators and those that had dropped my precious 90+ year-old mother-in-law on the front-side of her head, onto a hard wooden bedside table, and then onto the floor where they had stopped using fall mats (because no one was permitted to come into the nursing home to check during lockdowns), her bones were fractured as well as previously from another fall we didn’t know about, until the x-ray team was sent in, garbed up, to run a scan on her. She was also suffering from dementia so it was frantic and frightening for her. 
 
Deep Anguish. Deep Groaning!  The damage had been done and shortly after all of the fees and fines were placed upon this nursing facility, they placed her in a Covid-19 wing, and she died. 
Alone. 
We couldn’t bury her. 
We had one hour to make a decision what to do with her tired little body.  
 
The Glimmer Of Good News was that my father-in-law, who was in an assisted living facility a few blocks away, lived a little longer. He only got to see his wife one time in 18 months and that was through an acrylic panel. No hugging, no touching. 
When he became more frail and tired, Covid restrictions were just then being lifted. 
 
STEVE WAS PROMPTED BY THE LORD to fly to Illinois to see his father because he knew his time to go to heaven was near.  A very dear friend that is like a close family member, graciously offered to cover Steve’s flight expenses and partial hotel stay.
Steve had two days of being at the hospital with Steve’s father while he was being refitted with a new pacemaker, and being treated for an infection from sitting too long and alone in his assisted living apartment. He had been moved to a new, fresh, clean, assisted living facility, where one of our nieces was the new head administrator. Everything seemed so peaceful and wonderful! Steve’s dad was delighted to be getting such wonderful attention and care. 
Steve hugged him good night and said; “I’ll see you in the morning for breakfast Dad! Sleep well.” 
 
At 8:30 the next morning, Steve received a phone call…
… From our niece, and his Dad had fallen into her arms when she went to check on him that morning. He had told her he felt a little dizzy, and then passed into heaven. 
 
God’s Timing Was In The Details. 
There was joy that Steve could go see his Father, there was joy in the new accommodations and “sense of safety” with the Covid restrictions being lifted, and then there was sudden sorrow, groaning, grief, and loss. Steve’s parents had made plans to be buried next to each other, but it was impossible, since Steve‘s mother had to be cremated due to burial restrictions during the thick darkness of the COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
A BEAUTIFUL THING TOOK PLACE AMIDST THE DEEPEST SORROW. 
Our United States military allows you to place the urn of a deceased spouse into the arms of the other deceased family member, if they were former military.  Steve’s dad was a World War II veteran. Steve’s Mother’s urn was placed in the arms of Steve’s dad, her husband, and they were buried together. An additional blessing was that because Steve was there, he was able to officiate his father’s funeral. It was a full honors military funeral.
 
The Majority Of People Don’t Like To Hear About Hardship From Other People. Especially people in ministry, missionary work, prison ministries, those who rescue trafficked children or those in care giving careers.  There is a “subtle suspicion” that suddenly causes people to pull back and pretend they don’t see the struggle or suffering taking place when they’re used to someone “appearing to look like they have it all together” or who have been some kind of a bright shining hope to them at one time in their lives, or are a ministry, or helper that they once looked up to. 
 
YOU SEE, THE PROBLEM WITH MOST OF US IS,
WE DON’T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE PAIN, SUFFERING,
AND THE GRIEF OF OTHERS.
 
We Don’t Like To Face The Reality
That We May Be Called Upon 
To Help Those That Are Groaning.
 
 
Just Recently, Steve And I Were Again Facing A Bit Of Difficulty because he had an injury take place when he was working at a local Home Depot in a part-time job where everybody in each department take turns working at the customer services register. Steve being the kind of guy that he is, never slacks off in his work. He leaned over into a shopping cart because there was no one else younger or stronger nearby to help, and lifted out a 60-pound bag of dry cement to scan the price. Steve is 76years old. He is very healthy, very strong, but the lifting of the heavy object caused bulging discs in his lower back and he was in absolutely excruciating pain, thus, started a long recovery. 
 
He Is Actually Doing Really Well Now, and we are so grateful for the prayers and the wonderful chiropractor and doctor that we have, who are both Christians and are 100% committed to working towards better health without surgeries. During this time of Steve having to be home and not working and going to physical therapy, we were both also still doing part-time counseling. Steve gradually had the strength to work on installing and fixing a small appliance in our home. 
 
STEVE ALWAYS, WEARS HIS WEDDING BAND ON HIS LEFT HAND. 
He loves that wedding band! 
Sometimes we set our wedding bands on our kitchen windowsill close to each other so that we can see them next to each other and feel the “cozy joy and love” of knowing we are forever each other’s true love. 
When we were first married, we had picked out our wedding bands, and Steve’s was white gold with a gold center band running through it, with a few lovely diamonds embedded in it. It’s a very special lifetime treasure, which we hope to pass on to one of our grandchildren one day. 
 
Steve Had Taken His Ring Off And He Set It In A Strange, Not Normal Place. 
I had been cleaning house and I noticed his ring sitting in an unusual place. 
I thought to myself that I had better leave it there because he might remember where he put it and might want to put it back on. 
About three days later, he told me he could not find his ring. He couldn’t remember where he put it and I went to look for it in the location that I had last seen it. 
It was gone. 
 
Now Here’s Where It Gets Interesting! 
Steve had a little tin up on his bookcase in his office area. It was an old Altoid mint tin. In it, he keeps a cloth tape measure, rolled up very tightly, a couple coins, and I think he has some paper clips in there. But that’s where he usually takes his ring off and usually puts it in the tin, or next to it every night. He had gone in and looked and took that bookcase apart, and yet, the ring was not to be seen. 
I had gone in and looked from top to bottom as well, looked behind his desk with a flashlight, you name it, and I was searching everywhere! I even looked in his sock drawer to see if the ring had somehow fallen in there, but we could not find it. 
 
WE WERE GREATLY DISCOURAGED, HEARTSICK, SADDENED. 
Yes, it was another time groaning, another disappointment another loss, and although it may seem to be materialistic to some, this was something emotional. It was a bond between us both, that when we took our vows we put those rings on each other‘s hands looking firmly in each other’s eyes saying, “till death do us part”. 
 
You don’t want to replace something like that.
It has history. 
It has memories. 
It has weight to it. 
 
One week passed. 
Two weeks passed. 
Three weeks passed. 
We still could not find it. 
 
I Even Took My Vacuum Cleaner Bag Out And Put A Mask On and poked through it’s contents with a pencil into every single dusty section to see if maybe it had gotten suctioned up into the bag. Nope, it wasn’t in there.
I finally decided I was going to share it in the Kingdom Prayer rooms on Faith United Network’s Christian media site. I’m part of a team of prayer warriors there that pray for people from everywhere, and we fervently pray for, “everything”. Several people decided they were going to get busy praying with us and I basically said that our hearts are broken. 
It’s been something that we just were in anguish over.
 
ONE AFTERNOON I WENT TO LAY DOWN ON OUR BED TO REST. 
The next day was Father’s Day. 
As I lay there I asked the Lord if he would please by his grace, by his mercy, guide me to that ring, show me where it was. I spoke to the Lord saying to him that it would be such an indicator of great love for Steve to find that ring for Father’s Day. It would mean so much to know that the Father cared about even the slightest detail of our lives. 
I Just Could Not Sleep During That Nap After Praying And Crying A Little Bit. So, I got up and something prompted me to go back into Steve‘s office and look in that mint tin, one more time. 
 
Now remember…
Steve had looked in there and I had looked in there thoroughly.  
As I took the tin down and held it closer to my line of sight, at first I couldn’t believe what I was seeing!  Right there, perfectly placed like an egg in the middle of a nest, right in the middle of the wound up cloth measuring tape, perfectly wrapped around it, was Steve’s ring, sitting in the center of it. If we missed seeing it, then we missed it! But I know, and Steve knows that we both had looked in that location several times to no avail.  If the Lord in his kindness and his goodness decided to make sure that the ring was put in a place and then prompted me to go look one more time, I’m going to receive it in childlike faith that he cared so much that let us know. 
 
THE HEAVENLY FATHER CARES ABOUT THE VERY SMALLEST OF THINGS!
Now, some may say, “This is foolishness! Why would God care so much about a ring, and why would he possibly move it or have you see it in a different way?” 
 
There’s Another Interesting Happening In The Scripture.
The floating ax head is a story from 2 Kings 6:1-7, where the prophet Elisha helps a man who lost a borrowed ax head in the water. Elisha performs a miracle by making the iron ax head, float to the surface, demonstrating God's care for even small concerns in our lives.
 
There’s Also A Story Of The Woman Who Had Lost One Of Her Ten Silver Coins.  When she swept her house and looked everywhere for it and when she found it, she went outside and all of her neighbors rejoiced with her. (Luke 15:8-10)   
I WAS SO EXCITED that I’d been prompted to go look specifically in the location of Steve’s ring!  I put it on my finger and walked out and smiled at Steve and I said, “Guess what? Happy Father’s Day!”  He was so delighted and we both cried a little bit, then and then stopped and gave God huge thanks, and then of course I immediately went and shared with the prayer group that the ring had been found! Yippee! There was genuine delight and genuine rejoicing!
 
Dear Believer! 
God IS In The Smallest Of Details. 
He’s In The Little Things That Matter. 
 
RIGHT NOW WE ARE EXPERIENCING UNPRECEDENTED DEVASTATIONS, HATRED, AND TURMOIL IN THE WORLD. Some say that things may be getting better, but maybe in another location it’s becoming more difficult. 
 
THE EARTH IS GROANING!
We are aching and groaning and questioning! 
We are crying out to God saying, 
“What is going on? What more can we do? How can we pray? 
Why are so many suffering? 
Why are the answers not coming? 
Why is it taking so long? 
Why do I have to wait for the answer?”
 
Friends, Inside Of All Of Us, The Holy Spirit Is Groaning. 
That is the urging for us to pray, to cry out and weep before God with groaning too deep for even our own words.
The needs of God‘s people, and the cry for God’s intervention is as urgent in our days as it was in the time of Isaiah. I’m concerned that we may have forgotten the proper concept of what the so-called Christian life is in the sight of God.
Honestly, unless God comes down as “when the melting fire burns to make his name known to his adversaries”, our efforts to stop these unrelenting attacks are pretty much fruitless. That’s from Isaiah 64:2 
 
LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF MANY IN PUBLIC MINISTRY RIGHT NOW! 
How much of it presented in the wisdom of man, applauding the talent, the charisma and the physical appearance? And yet how little of the demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s genuine power.
THE BIBLE DOESN’T HIDE BROKENNESS. 
It doesn’t tie up pain up in a neat little package. What it does is, it shows us the kind of hope that enters into our suffering. 
A hope that weeps, a hope that groans.  
Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” 
 
The Hebrew Word For “Near” Doesn’t Mean Help Is On Its Way. 
No! It’s a much more in its potent meaning! It means “present” -right now. Close enough for you to feel God’s breath while he speaks in your ear that. He is there. 
The Word “Crushed” Is Also Strong Word.  
When you’re crushed, you feel ground down, shattered, and at times you cannot lift your head. 
Friends! God doesn’t despise you or ignore you when you’re crushed. 
Actually, he moves TOWARDS you. 
He definitely doesn’t say, “get up and stop your sniveling”, first! 
Instead he says, “I will reach down and help you.” He did this through sharing, sending his son Jesus Christ. 
Love came down to us… 
 
DC Robertson In His 30 Day Devotional Book Titled “Hope For The Broken” Made Very Powerful Statements. I Will Share A Few With You. 
 “Hope doesn’t start when the storm passes. It starts when you realize you are not alone in the storm.  This is a place where the real journey of Hope begins, not in the removal or the resolution of our pain, but in the nearness of God TO us while we are IN pain. 
That’s what sets biblical hope apart from motivational thinking. 
It’s not about finding the silver lining. It’s about finding the savior in the dark.”
 
FRIENDS. THE CHURCH IN A BROADER SENSE, 
IS SUFFERING GREATLY BY HER OWN HANDS. 
Self harm, whether it’s by individuals or institutions, without a doubt involves defective thinking that is a side effect of self-deception. 
 
Many Of Us Are Grieved And Groan At The Devastation In The Church That Happens When Victims Are Silenced And When Abusers Are Protected. So often, Power is abused and truth is hidden from those considered by the deceivers as “the less powerful” in the body of Christ. His bride is still struggling with being unwell and too often is found to be “unsafe”. 
 
DR. DIANE LANGBERG HAS SO MANY GOOD STATEMENTS TO SAY ABOUT THESE THINGS. 
RECENTLY, I READ THIS EXCERPT FROM ONE OF HER POSTS. 
“It’s extremely important to remember that all power is given to us. The power that is operating in someone’s position, they’re gifting, their knowledge or verbal ability, or their spiritual authority has one source. All of that power comes from Christ. He said to us all power is given to ME in heaven and on earth, it’s not ours! It’s his and it’s to be used in humility and in alignment with his word and his character. 
He who had all power never used it to feed off of a vulnerable person or to increase his stature or to protect himself. Any power that we have is his and is to be used to bless others with his grace and truth.”
Christian psychologist Diane Langberg is a deeply intelligent and humble woman who has arbitrated among war torn countries, advocating for healing and preaching Christ through loving actions and helping reconciliation take place. She makes very potent yet honest assessments regarding the condition of many of the houses of worship being exposed today. 
 
I’D ABSOLUTELY SAY FRIENDS
THAT THERE’S A WHOLE LOT OF GROANING GOING ON
AND THE HOLY SPIRIT GROANS AS HE SEES
THE DECEPTION AND THE HARM BEING DONE!
 
Here are Diane’s words;
“Where do we who serve a holy God, full of grace and truth, find justification for protecting a place where he desires to dwell, when that place is full of sin and harm done to his lambs? When this is done, we have failed to meet even the requirements of the law of the land, which calls the abuse of children and spouses criminal.
Jesus cleansed the temple twice. His people did not listen. The spiritual leaders of the people failed to obey him. The desecration of God‘s house and his people were scathingly denounced by both Jeremiah and Jesus. 
We who are the people of God, who worship in his sanctuary, need to pay heed and listen! 
Our God would have his refuge be holy, like he is holy. And in Matthew, after Jesus cleansed the temple the second time, he gave us a clear view of his ability to restore God‘s house to its true calling, giving us a picture of what that restoration looks like! 
After the cleansing, the wounded and the sick came in and he healed them. And the little ones came into the temple and sang praises to our God.
When the people of God expose deeds of darkness and the wolves in our midst that commit them, the wounded are healed, and the children sing. It is then that we will know the sanctuary of our God is indeed a holy dwelling for our Lord’s Holy Spirit and a safe harbor for his lambs. 
One of the measurements of our faithfulness to God is in the way that we conduct ourselves in relationship to our fellow humans.
A second measure of our faithfulness to God is in the stamping out and the calling out of sins that harm humanity. 
When these conditions are met, we as his people then live out the character of a holy and loving God and do this in front of the afflicted and needy while a watching world observes. 
It’s when we chase out the darkness and we address the corruption and provide a true sanctuary of safety, that we once again become a holy and a safe place.”

DIANE’S WORDS HAVE A DEEP CONVICTING MESSAGE! 
Holy Spirit groaning most definitely takes place as you digest and pray over her words. 
The truth can cut deep into our denial of things.  The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus, and he told his disciples that he would send another, which would be the Holy Spirit who would convict the world of sin.
 
Conviction Causes Us To Groan As The Holy Spirit Groans,
Seeing The Condition Our Own Souls And The Souls
Of The Present Day Deceivers Of Our Current Day.
 
CREATION GROANS!
Romans 8:22-23 so deeply expresses this “groaning of all creation and longing” as we wait upon God, waiting for him to transform every aspect of our lives as individual temples of the Holy Spirit and to transform his church, making his bride spotless and without blemishes or malice.
22 “For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together as if in the pains of childbirth until now. 
23 And not only this, but we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit [a joyful indication of the blessings to come], even we groan inwardly, as we wait eagerly for [the sign of] our adoption as sons—the redemption and transformation of our body at the resurrection].”
 
FRIENDS, THE WAITING IS SOMETIMES PAINFUL.
The groaning of the whole of creation describes the state of suffering and dissatisfaction with everything we have today! 
Look at how the earthquakes and the tragic floods and heartbreak of their aftermath, the fires burning in the West and the winds are groaning in the Earth right now!
We know - we feel - deep down inside that something is wrong!  Our anxiety and frustration is our inward groaning.
 
SO WHAT’S TO BE DONE? 
THERE’S ONLY ONE THING.
We wait upon God.  
We must cry with a cry that never rests! We say to him, “Oh that you would open the heavens and come down, that the mountains might flow down with your presence!” That’s Isaiah 64 verse 1. 
We must desire, groan in prayer and believe, and we must ask and expect that God would show us Unseen, Unknown things. 
 
Jeremiah 33:3 says,
“Call to me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.”
 
IF HE CAN SHOW ME IN MY SIMPLE MINDED HEART CRY, exactly where my husband‘s wedding ring had been misplaced, or where it had been lost and he had in fact, placed it where I could find it, can he not show us great and mighty things that we know nothing about?
 
Oh Weary Listener!  
We must put our trust in a God who men absolutely don’t know exactly how he goes about preparing acts of great grace and compassion for them! 
 
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE 
WAITING FOR HIM TO FREE YOU, 
TO VINDICATE YOU AND OTHERS 
FROM GROSS LOSSES AND HARM, 
KNOW THAT THIS WONDER WORKING, 
MIRACLE DOING GOD, 
CAN SURPASS ALL OF OUR EXPECTATIONS.  
 
It Must Be The Only One True God Who We Put Our Trust In. 
Yes! Let us as God’s people prepare him room in our hearts to wait on a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above, what any of us could ask or think. 
That’s Ephesians chapter 3 vs. 20.
 
Let’s join ourselves together as his chosen ones who cry day and night to him for things that men have not seen! He is able to arise and to make his people a name filled with praise and humble adoration in the Earth!
 
Isaiah 38 verse 18 says, 
“The Lord will wait, that he may be gracious to you, 
Blessed are all those that wait for him.”
 
 
In Closing Out This Podcast, 
I’d Like To Say Lovingly But Clearly,  
We Must Take Time To Develop 
This Much Needed Element Of Our Christian Walk. 
 
 
I Echo Andrew Murray, Who Often Talks About How Little We Wait Upon God. We get too much secondhand teaching and spiritual information from the teachings of men. Now, that teaching may have great value, even like the spiritual information, John the Baptist sent his disciples away with, but he sent them to the living Christ. If the teaching leads us to God himself, then it’s good teaching. But what our lives need is more of God. 
Anyone who wants to learn the beauty of waiting on God would do himself or herself a great favor to remember the lesson from Isaiah chapter 7 verse 4. It says to take heed and be quiet. “It’s good that a man quietly waits.” 
 
Friends, Take Time To Be Separated From All Of Your Friends, All Your Duties And Cares, And Even Your Joys. Take Time To Be Still And Quiet Before God. It’s when we look to the Lord and we wait for the God of our salvation that God will hear us and answer us in the most perfect and loving way.  
Micah 7:7. 
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
 
LET’S PRAY TOGETHER 
Loving Father, I pray that You would teach me how to prayerfully and patiently wait on You, and to come to a true understanding of what it really means to wait on the Lord. Help us to be still before you, to listen to Your voice through Your Word and to abide in You.
Keep us from fretting and worry, but rather let us learn more of You. 
Draw us closer to Yourself and keep us from presumptuous thoughts, but rather teach us humility of heart, knowing that Your desire for all Your children is that we do justly, love mercy and walk humbly before You.
And in all things, I pray that as we learn to wait on You and go deeper into Your Word of truth, that in all things we would bring glory to Your name.

HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD IN DAYS OF CHAOS AND DECEIT

Hello to all of you who are listening via podcast today or who are reading this message!
I just finished being a part of our weekly prayer gathering this evening, and I have to tell you, the presence of the Father was so absolutely strong and evident in our time together! I am literally to the point that I anticipate all day long on Thursday evenings, getting together with the group that we pray with. 
 
We have been blessed week after week, month after month with the sweet and strong presence of God as we intercede for our nation, for the globe, and for so many other things that the Lord lays on our hearts to pray about.
 
I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THE PODCAST THAT I HAD TALKED ABOUT EARLIER. I am still trying to get it to compile and come together and I know that if I rush this, I will not share it in the light of how the Lord wants it to be presented properly.
 
BUT, I HAVE BEEN HAVING ANOTHER MESSAGE AND WORD FROM THE LORD STIRRING DEEP WITHIN MY SPIRIT, AND SO THAT IS WHAT I’M GOING TO SHARE WITH YOU TODAY.
Hearing God accurately in the mess and chaos that the world is in right now, is of huge importance!
 May the Lord continue to use you all to proclaim and speak truth, no matter what the cost. It is so worth being called a servant of the Lord during hard and challenging times.
 
TODAY, I’M GOING TO TALK WITH YOU ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS TO BE IN A PLACE OF SAFETY, A PLACE, OR A “HAVEN” OF BEING SHELTERED BY THE LORD. Especially during very, very difficult and hard times.
I’ll share how to discern and hear His voice in the chaos of the nonstop noise the dark world bombards us all with. It’s ratcheted up to crazy levels, and shouts loudly to attempt to distract us from discerning the times, and hopes to discourage us and knock us off balance with fear, and then rob our peace.
 
IT’S OBVIOUS THAT THE EARTH IS IN ONE MASSIVE UPHEAVAL, AND NO MATTER WHERE YOU TURN RIGHT NOW, THE CRISES CONTINUE TO MOUNT AND BOIL! And so, people begin to put aside spending time in the word of God, and certainly in his presence, to spend time with the love of the Internet and scrolling through their telephones through social network information and high charged doomsday podcasts and videos.
This can absolutely create stress and anxiety, and it also creates a terrible problem with comparing ourselves to other people and where we are at in life.
 
PRAYER IS NOT A BORING HARD THING WHEN YOU REALIZE 
THAT YOU ARE FACE-TO-FACE, OR LITERALLY, 
“PRESENCE TO PRESENCE” WITH THE FATHER.
 
A tremendous man who walked daily in the Presence of God, Andrew Murray, said in a book that he wrote, 
“It’s one of the terrible marks of the diseased state of the Christian life in these days that there are so many that are content, and remain passive and content, without the distinct occasion of having experienced answered prayer. They pray daily, but know very little of direct, definite answers to prayer as the rule of their daily life.” 
 
Psalm Thirty verse four says,
“I sought the Lord and he answered me.”
 
We must understand that it’s the Father’s will that WE SEEK HIM OUT to daily have dialogue with his will, and it’s his will to have his children to listen to him and then, he listens to his children and agrees to their requests.
It’s his will that we should come to him day by day, with specific requests, and he will every day, do for us great and wonderful things!
What we ask sometimes might be a case where the specific answer is that he refuses our request, but our Father lets us know when and why he can’t give us what we request. It’s like his Son Jesus, and so we will withdraw our petition or our request.
 
When did Jesus do that?
Jesus said in the Garden of Gethsemane, “If this cup could pass from me, but not my will, but your will be done.”  He said this to the Father.
 
WHETHER OUR REQUEST IS ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL OR NOT, GOD WILL BY HIS WORD AND BY HIS SPIRIT, TEACH THOSE OF US WHO ARE TEACHABLE, and he will give us time to withdraw our requests if they’re not according to God‘s mind or purposes.
 
LET’S PRESS IN.
LET’S JUST STAND FIRM UNTIL THE ANSWER COMES! PRAYER IS GIVEN TO US TO OBTAIN AN ANSWER!
It’s in prayer and its answer, that the exchange of love between the Father and we his children takes place.
 
MY QUESTION IS, “ARE YOUR  PRAYERS BEING ANSWERED?”
During the last hours of the age that we’re in, there will be two opposing groups or alliances in the world. 
 
The First group are those whose hearts are absolutely overwrought with bitterness, resentment and hatred.
 
The Second group is those whose love has actually increased, and are experiencing the power of the Kingdom of God, now!
 
Jesus told us about this in Matthew in chapter 4:10-13.
He said, “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
And then in Matthew 24:14 he added,
“This gospel (good news) of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations and then the end shall come.”
 
SO, THE BIG QUESTION IS...
...“WHAT IS THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM?” 
It’s the whole truth Jesus came to bring, not only that part that saves us from our sins, but also that part which creates us in his image!
It’s the full message, the full good news with all its requirements and all of its rewards! 
It’s is the full price for the full power!
It’s the most glorious pearl that a person can possess. The presence of God in His glory, revealed, made known within and among us!
 
IF WE WANT TO GAIN THIS GREAT LOVE, WE WILL CONTINUALLY BE FORCED TO MAKE CHOICES TOWARD MERCY, OR, TOWARD UNFORGIVENESS, and if we don’t walk in a forgiving attitude, we will certainly become prey to an embittered spirit, if it’s in fact, God‘s plan to allow wickedness and holiness at the same time,  so they grow to full maturity.
 
We must guard our hearts ahead of time from reacting in bitterness or unforgiveness because the increasing anarchy will certainly give us occasions to lose love, with the attempt to make us hard so we can survive in this cruel world.
 
WE OFTEN WITHDRAW FROM THE GENUINENESS OF PURE LOVE!
We can’t choose cautious, selective love, and also walk in the power of God’s kingdom, my friends! To defy pain, we sometimes unconsciously shut down our love, because after all, its love that makes us vulnerable.
 
GOD WANTS US TO BE A PEOPLE WHOSE LOVE IS GROWING HOT, NOT COLD. Jesus didn’t say that we had to trust our enemies, but he did say that we had to love them anyhow. You might be asking why! 
One reason God allows difficulties is to test us!
( I know! I know! We don’t want to hear that! )
He wants to see if our Christianity is just an intellectual pursuit or just thoughts and feelings of the mind, or if following him is truly the highest passion of our hearts. So, he tells us in Matthew 5:44, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Wow! 
 
SOME OF YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH REJECTION AND BETRAYAL MOST LIKELY.
The Lord says to you today,
“You did not fail, you have continued to love, and although you went through great pain, yet you have forgiven, those who have hurt you.” 
My friends you have passed the test.
 
THERE ARE HOWEVER, SOME OF YOU LISTENING OR READING THAT STILL HAVE CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS IN YOUR LIVES THAT YOU HAVE NOT FORGIVEN, AND WHOM YOU DO NOT LOVE.  Maybe you’re right, they don’t deserve your forgiveness, but what you don’t realize is the consequence of your anger.
You see, as long as we refuse to forgive, a part of this is trapped in the past where you will always be reminded of your pain, and until we forgive, we will not be fully released to go on with our life.
Even the time of year in which you were hurt will bring depression.
 
THERE’S ONLY ONE WAY WE CAN HAVE TRUE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD AND THAT IS IN THE HERE AND NOW, RIGHT NOW, LIVING IN THE PRESENT. But if our mind is in conflict with others, we’re neither here nor in the present. When we live in the past, we are cut off from God! What people did to us to hurt us is over! It’s done; it doesn’t have any real existence or life of its own, except in your mind.
 
SO THERE WITHIN US, THE DEED CONTINUES TO LIVE AND FESTER AND AS LONG AS IT LIVES, WE’RE STILL BEING HURT BY IT. The person or the people who wounded you may have long since died. They can’t be blamed because it’s us who keeps our wounds alive. Not only is the quality of our spiritual life affected, but often our physical health pays a price as well!
 
As long as we keep holding onto the burden of what someone has done to us, every time we think about it or think about that person, the stomach acids start to churn and anxiety increases, and then of course our body is continually put under stress.
 
If we don’t forgive those who have hurt us, we lose a measure of our capacity to love and whether they deserve forgiveness or not, we deserve a better life!
God wants to give you a better life but you can’t enjoy abundant life and carry unforgiveness, because we’re shackled to something that was hurting us.
Did you know that our own unforgiveness tortures us?
 
SO HOW DO YOU GET OUT OF THAT PRISON? 
HOW DO YOU FIND THE PROTECTION OF GOD FOR YOUR SOUL? 
 
Well, God calls us to forgive. You have to see the hands of God reaching to you in the midst of your pain.
He wants to redeem that conflict using that specific crisis or hardship to develop and perfect character in you. It will be this experience that he will use to make you like Jesus. To become like Jesus is to dwell, to live, in the place of rest and the safety of God.
Every time we say, “Father, I choose to love. I choose to forgive. I choose to forget and not hold it against this person”, we are taking on the nature of Jesus. Friends, rejoice that Jesus is taking over your heart. You are entering into the strong, safe haven of God’s shelter.
 
I DO MANY THINGS THAT THE LORD HAS ASSIGNED ME TO DO IN LIFE NOT ONLY AS A MINISTER, BUT ALSO AS A PASTORAL COUNSELOR.
I also host and facilitate a group called “The international Prophetic Women’s Mentoring Council.” This is a group of women from all walks of life several cultural groups and different backgrounds. We meet through zoom video sessions and individually.
The thing that is “the glue that bonds us” is the fact that each of us have been called into ministry, and each of these women flows in a different expression of the prophetic gift.
This past week we had a zoom session and our conversation and subject matter was regarding, the power of intercession and what it takes to approach the Face of God, in a right attitude.
 
One of the things that stood out so strongly in our time of dialogue and accountability to one another was the fact that in order to hear clearly from the Spirit of God, we need to have the inward witness, or the “inside part of us that communicates with God”, clearly in a place of submission and humility before him, and, that we first come into a place where we have asked the Lord to cleanse us. That means cleanse our hearts before we try to come to Him in prayer.
 
MANY PEOPLE DON’T KNOW HOW TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD. They seek it through quick daily devotionals, or they seek the voice of God through other people every day, instead of seeking the Lord himself.
The scripture tells us clearly in John 10:4-5, “His sheep know his voice, and strange voices, they will not follow.”
 
SO WHAT ARE THE STRANGE VOICES?
The voices from the external world that are constantly pumping us full of data, fear, rhetoric and forced compliance to social conditioning. If we choose to listen to the voice of strangers, then we move further away from being sheep in the pasture of the Lord.
 
SO HOW DO WE KNOW HIS VOICE?
How do we discern that it’s him? The number one thing, is that God always speaks life. He always speaks truth. And when God speaks, it brings peace, even in the midst of hard difficulties or hard decisions. An absolute solid peace comes and says, “This is the way, and this is what you have to do!”
Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say,
"This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.
That’s Isaiah 30:21.
 
THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES IN YOU.
God absolutely wants to direct your life through your decision-making. The Holy Spirit guides us in our spirits (not through our physical body). The Number One way The Holy Spirit leads and guides us is through what the Bible calls, the “Inward Witness.”
Proverbs 3:6 says,  “Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”
 
WHAT IS AN INNER OR INWARD WITNESS?
An inner witness is an impression, or a sense or perception on the inside of you.
Romans 8:16 tells us,
“For his Spirit joins with our spirit, to affirm, to confirm, that we are God’s children.”
Jeremiah 7:23-24 says this to us, 
“But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may go well for you.’ 
Yet, they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked by their own advice and in the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and they went backward and not forward.
 
AS KINGDOM PEOPLE, WE’RE NOT LED BY OUR SENSES.
We’re not led by our ears or our eyes. We’re led by our spirit.
When we talk about hearing God, we’re not talking about hearing God with our physical ears. We’re talking about hearing Him in our spirit. 
Here’s a great example: 
The Apostle Paul had been arrested and he was headed to his trial. Before he took the journey he sensed something in his spirit. He wasn’t the captain of the ship, but he sensed something in his spirit. 
In Acts 27:10, Apostle Paul said,
"Men, I perceive we're going to face a disaster and heavy losses on this voyage. This disaster will cause damage to the cargo and the ship, and it will affect our lives."
It wasn’t long before the ship hit a cyclone, but an angel appeared and guaranteed Paul that everyone would make it, and they did!
What was it that what Paul said in the beginning? “I perceive".  
This is what we’re looking at right now.
We’re talking about being led by the Spirit of God, no matter what circumstance or difficulty we might encounter.
 
BEING A PERSON WHO IS CALLED TO A PROPHETIC MINISTRY, I AM CLEARLY AWARE OF THE FACT THAT 90% OF WHAT I DO, ALSO COMES FROM TEACHING PEOPLE FROM THE WORD OF GOD REGARDING HOW TO  “HEAR” THE VOICE OF GOD.
 
My job is not to be a telephone for people to connect to God with, nor simply through prophesying. This is not going to change lives long term if the word of God is not taught and also if people don’t act on it and obey it.
 
I HAVE HAD SOME STRANGE ENCOUNTERS WITH PEOPLE WHO THINK THAT I HAVE SOME KIND OF HOTLINE OR SATELLITE CONNECTION TO GOD TO HELP THEM GET ANSWERS. They need something or want to hear what the Lord has for them by asking me for a prophetic word. My friends this is not how the prophetic word of knowledge or word of wisdom works! 
I had a lady when we were Pastoring a local fellowship come up to me after the service and she asked me if I would please, “do whatever I do, do that thing that I do”, and see if God would show me where she had put her wedding ring. She had lost it.
I remember feeling very uncomfortable and a cold chill went through my body! My thought process was, “this woman wants me to be like a palm reader, or a magic eight ball! She wants me to use divination to find her wedding ring!“
Very kindly but firmly I told the woman, “You can ask the Lord to show you where it is yourself, or just simply go on looking for it. Pray that the Lord would lead you to it, but to ask me to ask the Holy Spirit to show me where it is, is basically trying to use another voice to speak to God for you when you can speak on your own to him.”
 
THERE ARE TIMES, WHEN GOD WILL SPEAK A WORD, AND IT IS DONE THROUGH A PROPHETIC UTTERANCE, and it gives us a word of knowledge about something or a word of wisdom about a specific event where we need to have insight, but it will always confirm with the Spirit of God what he has already put down on the inside of us that we can’t seem to quite untangle, until the prophetic word comes and brings a clarity to it.
 
SOMETIMES THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL HAVE SOMEONE BRING A PROPHETIC WORD THAT COMES IN THE FORM OF LOVING CORRECTION, BUT IT IS STILL CORRECTION, AND PEOPLE GET ANGRY AND SHOUT, “HOW DARE YOU JUDGE ME! Who are you to judge me?!”  
Of course what this is a reaction to being caught out in bad behavior or hidden sin, and the Lord gently, lovingly, brings a word of warning.
 
ALL OF US KNOW WHEN WE SLIP AWAY FROM SPENDING TIME IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD. We know when we slack off from reading the scripture and from meditating on it, letting the Holy Spirit speak through the word to us. This is where the areas of bitterness and lack of purity in our walk with the Lord get all tangled up.
 
FRIENDS. 
ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH YOU HOW TO BE LED BY HIM.
(By the way, you might need a refreshing of your commitment to only follow his voice.)
You don’t need a prophet to hear from God for you, or have a constant prophetic word to make decisions.
Simply say these words.
“Holy Spirit, teach me how to be led by you.”
Then, before you make any major decisions, acknowledge God.
Say, “God, this is what the situation is,  >  insert your situation  <. 
What are your thoughts about this?” 
Or
“God, this is what is happening right now, and this is what I’m thinking about doing. What do you think?”
From this point, you begin to look on the inside. Practice looking on the inside.
 
DO YOU HAVE PEACE ON THE INSIDE?
Or do you have discomfort on the inside?
Proverbs 20:27 says,
“The spirit of man is the candle or lamp of the Lord.”
This verse lets us know that God guides us through our spirit.
 
MUCH TOO OFTEN, WE SEEK GUIDANCE IN OTHER WAYS.
We judge by our physical senses, but nowhere does God say He will guide us by our senses. Or we look at a situation from a mental standpoint. But God guides us through our spirit, or our inward man.
 
THE INWARD MAN HAS A “VOICE.”
We call it our conscience, intuition, or an inward witness. As born-again believers train and develop their spirit, this voice becomes clearer.
One thing that has held us back is that we are more body-conscious and mental-conscious than spirit-conscious. We have developed the body and soul but have so often, ignored our spirit.
 
WAITING ON GOD IS SO IMPORTANT
Sometimes people don’t want to take their part of responsibility to engage with the Lord. It’s easier to put it off on God and say, “Lord, if you want me to do something or do that, then open the door. If You don’t, then shut it.”
It takes patience to wait on God  until you know the answer on the inside. 
Sometimes it takes times of waiting, quietly, patiently, to hear this inward witness.
 
WE GET SO BUSY PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY THAT SPIRITUAL THINGS BECOME INDISTINCT TO US.
It’s easier to get quiet with your body than with your mind. Sometimes when you try to sleep, your body is relaxed, but your mind is still churning with the day’s activities, ideas and plans, or, with worries and anxieties.
 
HERE IS WHERE PRAYING IN TONGUES IS A GREAT ADVANTAGE.
Paul said,
“For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prays, 
but my understanding is unfruitful.” (1 Cor. 14:14).
 
I have found the best way to quiet my mind is to pray in tongues. When you pray in tongues, your mind grows quiet. Once it’s quiet, you become more conscious of your spirit and spiritual things.
 
WHEN CHRISTIANS SEEK TO KNOW GOD’S WILL FOR THEIR LIVES,
HE WILL MAKE HIS PERFECT WILL CLEAR TO THEM THROUGH AMAZING WAYS OF COMMUNICATING.
 
Whether it be through a calm, small voice speaking to their heart, or through a supernatural manifestation. God will guide those whose hearts are open to Him along the pathway of peace.
 
HERE IS A HELPFUL HEART PREPARATION
FOR LISTENING TO AND HEARING GOD
When Samuel was a very young child he went to live with Eli the priest, where he sleeps in the temple.   Samuel is sleeping when he is awakened by the Lord calling his name: "Samuel!" (He thinks Eli is calling him.) This happens twice. Finally, Eli realizes that God is calling the boy!
"So Eli told Samuel,
'Go and lie down, and if he calls to you, say, 
"Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening."'
So Samuel went and lay down in his bed.
The LORD came and stood there, calling just like the
Other times, 'Samuel! Samuel!'
Then Samuel said,
'Speak, for your servant is listening.' (1 Samuel 3:9-10)
 
THIS IS THE HEART NEEDED FOR THOSE WHO TRULY WANT TO CLEARLY HEAR GOD:
"Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening."
Humility is required.
 
GOD DOESN'T TALK TO US NON-STOP LIKE A 24-HOUR RADIO STATION. But he will speak to us or nudge us occasionally -even often, if we're listening for his voice.
God sees the whole picture, like a scouting pilot who watches the battle from a spotter plane high above the action, then radios down to others, the instructions for battle.
God speaks to us about this through David in Psalm 32:8-9
The LORD says,
“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. 
I will advise you and watch over you.
Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.”
 
GOD IS OUR INSTRUCTOR AND TEACHER ON WHAT DIRECTION OR PATH TO TAKE.
From his vantage point -seeing the past, present, and future, God sees what we can’t see, and "counsels us, directs us, shows us with his eye, focused upon us.”
 
IF WE WILL LISTEN, GOD IS OUR WISE COUNSELOR. 
God doesn't want to force us to obey like some animals that won't obey unless you put a bit and bridle or a leash on them. Instead, he seeks to speak to us in counsel.
 
AS WE HAVE GROWN AND LEARN TO HONESTLY TRUST IN HIM, WE BEGIN TO OBEY. He desires a more mature relationship based on trust rather than on being forced. If we fight him, we can't serve him.
Speak the same words that Samuel did.
“Lord! Here I am! Your servant is listening!”
Then, be still, and listen to what the Lord has to say to you!
He’s waiting to speak to you right now!
 
LET’S PRAY TOGETHER RIGHT NOW!
Whenever I lift my voice to pray for discernment and Your guidance Lord, I am reminded that You are a good shepherd. 
Forgive me for the times I have gone behind or ahead of Your plans. Forgive me for being demanding and trying to rush my time hearing from you. 
Father, I ask for Your Holy Spirit to lead me to Your perfect ways. I thank You that I don’t have to rely on my own wisdom, but I can depend on Your guidance. 
Thank You Holy Spirit. 
In the precious name of Jesus I say, “Here I am Lord. Speak to me. I am your servant and I am listening.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Finding Spiritual Truth In A Crazed World - When We Don't Like Difficult

The words, “The Harsh Winds of Life”  have been playing themselves over and over in my mind.
As I have pondered them and have allowed the Voice of the Holy Spirit to instruct me as to why I have been impressed with this statement, I sense the Lord addressing many deeper issues that are well anchored and maintained within our souls as believers.
 
HARSH WINDS
These blustery currents in the natural can be devastating to property, trees, and all living-breathing creatures. We have all seen what the devastation of hurricanes and tornadoes can do in a very short amount of time.
Often when listening to the traumatic stories of those who have lived through a nightmarish storm, the realities of what they hold near and dear have been laid bear and brought to the surface. Many weep over the loss of family photographs or tender things like Grandma’s old chipped china and are unconcerned about larger material items, but are deeply thankful for the safety of family members after a traumatic event. Others, are shaking fists at the sky and are enraged that they have been infringed upon during a difficult time, and want somebody else to pay for it!
 
THE HARSH WINDS OF LIFE BLOW UPON THE GODLY AND THE UNGODLY.  NO ONE IS EXEMPT.
There are some of life's storms that threaten to blow away everything we've depended on as well.
Friendships are tested, relationships are strained, and the Lord uses these harsh winds blowing against our lives to remove the crusty chaff that can form and harden around the seed of our lives.
Those who are independent in nature find a bitterness creeping into their attitudes and heart. They feel infringed upon when things are not easily controlled or maneuvered in their favor. And so, the Holy Spirit allows the winds to blow until a conviction penetrates the self centered soul, and exposes the fleshy comfort zone of, ‘My Way, My World, My Rights”!
"No man has power over the wind to contain it; 
So no one has power over the day of his death. 
And no one is discharged in time of war, 
So wickedness will not release those who practice it."
-Ecclesiastes 8:8
 
HOW LONG WILL THE HARSH WINDS BLOW?
As long as we practice wicked behavior in the eyes of the Lord, and no matter how hard we try, we cannot stop it! He is winnowing us, allowing us to be caught up into the refining wind of the Holy Spirit's conviction so that the chaff and waste places in our souls are removed.
And trust me my friends, anything that you may be hiding or pretending wasn’t “that bad”, that harmed someone else, well God will allow it to come to the light to be either judged or to be cleansed and yes, there may be consequences that you don’t like.
 
WE CAN’T HARM OTHER PEOPLE, OR ABUSE THEM, SEXUALLY PREY UPON THEM, SPIRITUALLY ABUSE AND DOMINATE OR SLANDER, and then pretend that it wasn’t “that big of a deal”! It’s a huge deal to God and he will continue to pursue us in order to cleanse us if we will allow him access.
(Yes you can say "ouch" right about now!)
 
CHAFF MUST BE REMOVED.  BUT WHY?
Chaff is a waste material plowed into the soil or burned.
Chaff, as a waste product from grain processing, shows us a symbolic use of the idea that refers to something seen as worthless.
Now, this is where we read, "to separate the wheat from the chaff" from
Matthew 3. It means to separate things of value from things of no value.
Another example is in Psalm 1 which says: "Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away".
 
WE CHRISTIANS OFTEN PRESUME THAT BECAUSE WE ARE REDEEMED THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL SACRIFICE OF CHRIST FOR OUR LIVES, THAT WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EASIER AND MORE PRIVILEGED LIFE.
This is simply not so!
We are given a shield and a holy stamina to withstand the wiles of this world, but no free passes to a life of ease.
 
THE LORD LOVES ALL OF MANKIND.
He longs for ALL of mankind, (that includes you and I) to come to a place of trust in His way, not “our way”. Fully stripped of self-will, self-gratification, self- justification, and self-focus.
Matthew 5:45 says~
 “He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good,
And sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
 
I KNOW! I KNOW! THIS STINGS!
"But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth." James 3:14
About now, I can hear a few righteous folks saying, "I would never boast about envy! "
Well! Selfish ambition is well hidden in our personal behaviors.
We offer gifts or opportunities for others to be blessed or helped as long as we are feeling in control and benevolent at the time of the offer or good intention.
But when the winds of life shift and the Lord allows the chaff of "waste materials" in our soul to be Tornadoed —bitterness and exclusive rights abound! Huffiness, abrupt harshness and passive aggression (which means getting even) will manifest and expose the soul's clinging nature, which does not want the hand of God striping away any safety veneer that we use to protect our approach to life.
 
A CHANGE IN THE SPIRITUAL CLIMATE HAS OCCURRED!
John 6:18 says, “A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough.”
Jesus allowed the wind to be a teaching point for his disciples.
They had walked with Him, talked with Him and served alongside Him. But trusting Him when the Storms and Harsh winds blew revealed a weakness that we all must look at, and often.
We trust the Lord when things are going our way, but when the Harshness of a storm blows us off the course that we set, many times we run to our own devices or “Plan B”.
 
SO MANY AT THIS TIME IN THIS DIFFICULT AGE ARE SCREAMING,
“Lord! Don’t you care about me? The winds are blowing, and I am fearful for my life! If you Love me, why are you allowing this horrid event to occur?”
Even Peter in his zeal to get out of the boat and see if it was indeed Jesus calling to him to come, once he was out of the safety of his own control and the winds blew against him, he focused on the wind, and not upon Jesus, who was there the whole time. Peter cries out, "LORD I am perishing! SAVE ME!”
 
CONTROL IS A DEEP, DEEP NEED.
Perhaps THE deepest need people have, is for control.
When we feel out of control, we experience a powerful and uncomfortable tension between the need for control and the evidence of “inadequate control”.
Without the Presence of God in our lives, we will attempt to control everything, every event, and every person around us in order to attain the sense of order and “identity power” that we crave.
 
DRAWING NEAR TO GOD
It was James, the brother of Jesus, who wrote to the believers in Jerusalem, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double- minded people!" (James 4:8).
If we draw near to God, he will respond and draw near to us.
Drawing near to God is spending time with Him, worshiping Him, praying and talking to Him, inviting Him into every aspect of our lives.
EVERY.  PART.  OF.  OUR.  LIFE.
 
BRING YOUR HEART UNDER HIS LORDSHIP
James gives us the blueprint for drawing near or “right up close” to the Lord. 
If you've committed sin, confess it, get rid of it.
Next, ask the Lord to examine your heart, your motives, and the things that make you do what you do.
 
Bring your heart under His Lordship as well.
May our actions be manifestations of a clean heart and conscience.
Allow HIM to remove the Chaff, the wasted time controlling things, and TRUST Him to align your life.
Notice that when he writes about this he says,
"Purify your hearts, double-minded people."
 
WHAT DOES HE MEAN BY "DOUBLE-MINDED"?
Well, a person who is double-minded is drawn in two completely different directions. And so he or she will get nowhere fast because loyalty is divided.
They will vacillate between faith and unbelief.
And, a double-minded person is unstable in all his/her ways and his/her spiritual walk is inconsistent because he/she tries to serve God and his/her own interests, and gamble their life against the Harsh Winds.
We've all learned that this kind of living never works. 
 
YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS.
Friends again I say this under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the master that you serve whether it be hiding something that is a secret sin or offense to The Lord, or things that you are aware of that have dishonored others, they will be brought into the light one way or the other.
If you think you can hide it, if you think you can gloss it over, God will eventually bring it into the light and have you exposed for deception.
Or, you choose to get the help you need and you can humble yourself! Yes, there may be consequences you don’t like, because of your actions and choices.
But repentance and accountability will save your soul. It may not save your marriage, it may not save your ministry, and it may not save your job or your relationships. But it will save your soul, because humility enters, and God can re-create what has been destroyed and damaged.
 
GOD DOESN'T PLAY GAMES!
No one is going to get very far with God by playing spiritual games.
It will soon be discovered that the only people playing the game with you will be you, yourself, and again, YOU.  It's just like people thinking that they can "ride the fence" into the kingdom.
There is no riding the fence; there is no lukewarm support group.
You’re either in or out.
If we really want to know Him, we are going to have to get serious about our relationship with Him.
 
WE DON’T WANT DIFFICULT! 
I will tell you right now, that even as I write and speak these words, I can feel the resistance to pruning and more change in my gut!  
Are you in a pruning, shocking, "getting trimmed back" difficult season right now? 
Most everyone is! 
Feeling like your wings have been clipped?
Are you seeing a pattern of lethargy and a dullness of joy maybe in your daily life? 
Don’t waste those struggles friends! Know that God is very... VERY... intentional. And, He has a good plan for all of it. 
Every challenge is an opportunity to practice walking one day at a time, with really clear thinking and gratitude, and He is right there, inside you, to help you.
 
LIKE I SAID BEFORE! WE DON’T WANT DIFFICULT! 
But my oh my, I do want to be like Him!
So I’m in surrender-mode now, friends. 
I’m saying, “Cut away, Lord. Go deep.” 
WHY? Because I want ALL that He has for me. 
I want the fruit. 
I want all that abundance, and I know it’s waiting for me when this weird and awkward season changes.
 
THERE IS ANOTHER PHENOMENON I FIND THAT HAPPENS DURING THE PROCESS, WHEN THE HARSH WINDS OF LIFE ARE BEARING DOWN.
And, one that I find that is unhealthy to ignore.
The enemy of our soul is observing and is feverishly “taking notes” about this difficult process, and I believe he finds it quite enjoyable; he laughs and ridicules and flings missiles of insults that shout that, "only a loser needs this kind of difficult adjustment ”. 
This of course, is a lie but, one which we can tend to believed on a bad day! Listening to the wrong voice can tempt us to believe the blowing away of chaff in our lives is punishment, and comes from God being mad at us. 
It can cause us to pull back from deeper fellowship or social engagements (social distancing tools too, like Face Time, ZOOM, integral) these paralyze honesty, transparency and humility.
It can lead to self-hatred, self-protection, denial about how we hurt others with half-truths, and so on!
 
I AM TRULY BECOMING MORE AWARE IN MY SPIRIT THAT GOD CAN ONLY USE ME—OR “BEST USE ME”, THROUGH THE PARTNERSHIP OF HIS POWER AND MY WEAKNESS. 
 
A wise and well-tested man by the name of Alan Hood must have had a few pruning clippers dig into his life at time or two and learned this lesson. He stated, 
“To Be Pruned Is To Lose The Resources, Whether Monies or Physical Strengths Upon Which Everyone Around You Measures You As Successful.”
LET’S READ THAT AGAIN…

TRYING TO USE OLD THINGS WHEN GOD IS TRYING TO GIVE US NEW THINGS IS REALLY SUCH FOOLISHNESS! 
Psalm 85 talks about Restoration, Re-tooling and Revival.
Verse 8 says, 
“I will listen to what God the Lord says;
He promises peace to his people, His saints
—but let them not return to folly.”
 
I’M TRUSTING THE LORD’S GOOD AND GRACIOUS HAND IN THE PROCESS THAT THE WORLD IS EXPERIENCING RIGHT NOW. 
I know God does not intend to leave even a healthy fruit-bearing branch how it is, but He is always after a more abundant harvest for His people.
I don’t get it, I don’t like or want difficult! 
But I also don’t want a puny little sick looking basket of bitter, green, unusable fruit out of life! 
He will “give the increase” when I reach the end of this seeming devastation of stymied ideas and “put on hold” plans, and let me tell you something crazy, I feel it coming!  The increase!
I’m learning to WALK in harmony, in tune with the truth that, “He is dwelling like healthy sap, in me, and will keep sin and despair from having dominion over my life”. (Romans 6:14) YOUR LIFE TOO! 
 
A MOMENT IN HIS ANGER - A LIFETIME IN HIS FAVOR.
God disciplines for a moment when He wishes to get our attention and our lives may indeed become painful for a period, but then comes His favor.
God doesn't delight in either our depression or our damage. 
And, when He begins to deal with the chaff in our lives, it is for our advantage, that we may be conformed to His likeness and reflect His holiness.
When we sense God’s disapproval, when it appears He has withdrawn from us, it is only so that we see our utter need of Him.
 
WHEN LIFE SEEMS TO BE SO SOUR, WHEN EVERYTHING CRUMBLES, then we must remember what we “say we believe”, that God’s favor is with us, because of Christ’s worthiness given to us, because we are adopted and are His - which means, that His favor always wins out over His disapproval.

YOUR CROSS IS HIS GLORY
What is so crucial to understand is that as a Christian, your life will be filled with times of weakness and strength, with want and wealth, with disgrace and honor, with crosses and comforts, miseries and mercies, joys and sorrows, delight and mourning.
As this cycle of separating “Chaff” from our lives reoccurs many times in our lives, and it moves us from the cross to glory.
For your own health and so that you find all your satisfaction in Christ alone, God will send you times of great growth and other times of emptiness.
When the harsh winds blow, know that God desires that you find your hope and comfort by His own fire.
When the balmy breezes come, give Him praise and thanksgiving for the warmth He provides.
Psalm 57:1 says,
"Have mercy on me, O God,
Have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge.
I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.”

"WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT DOING IN THIS SEASON?" - A PROPHETIC INSIGHT

This  podcast is going to be directed towards the question that many people are asking, (and of course a lot of times believers don’t “ask the question” because they fear that they are going to be judged for asking such a question!) 
But if we don’t ask, we don’t get answers, and so today’s podcast is addressing “What is the Holy Spirit doing during this season”.
 
I have spent time praying and seeking the Lord well for a good month now  and it’s been an interesting time since the last time we were together, and of course, the assignments God puts or put us into, IN different season of life, they never come without challenges and also without redemptive opportunities! And so, that’s what I’m going to be addressing! 
 
I’ve heard from the Spirit of God about what I’m to share. 
I am cautious about giving a word for a specific year because it begins to be kind of a measuring stick for some people to then either compete with or, that’s all they go by. “What the Lord said for 2024, 2023”, whatever, and they don’t listen for themselves, because sometimes it’s not about the year, it’s about the season, and a season can be more than one year! It can be more than a week, it can be a month or two!
 
Wherever we are in the Presence of God in our lives, walking with Jesus, we are in a season, and that season that we’re in right now is a very different time.  That’s where we’re heading today and I encourage you to share this word with those who are crying out to God for answers.
 
The things that are coming up in this next time and in life for all of us, 
They’re going to be challenging! 
 
In order to have the times of refreshing we are crying out for and, 
Are desperate for as believers,
We must learn to rule and reign with grace.
 
Refreshing rains will not fall, and cannot fall in full glory, when we refuse to lay down judgments, manipulations, and self invented “spiritual rules” that do not run parallel with the King of grace who is the ULTIMATE Mercy bringer in this present season. The conviction of God will be strong to cleanse the heart of falsity, the  fear of man and the passivity of half repentance for works of the flesh. 
 
We can get all the people that we know around the globe to pray for us and to pray over us, but we cannot force out the devil and the darkness of our own unforgiveness and intentional blame-shifting. 
 
We give the enemy consistent access to our churches and our lives as long as we “lord it over others”, hiding our own sin, pretending that God does not see.
 
To operate or flow in Mercy means to perform out of a desire to relieve suffering, and is motivated by compassion. The action of forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within   one's power to punish or harm. Mercy shown, prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.
 
IN THIS SEASON, 
THE SPIRIT OF GOD DESIRES EVERY BELIEVER 
TO DO THEMSELVES AN ETERNAL FAVOR. 
 
TELL THE TRUTH.
 
God will protect you more for doing this than any self-invented cover-up ever could. And, you just might regain relationships with those you have used as stepping-stones to your own deviant self-empowerment.
 
THE HEAVENLY KING OF GLORY  
IS ALWAYS AND FOREVER CREATING NEWNESS OF LIFE!
 
If we are indeed man or a woman of prayer, the test will come of that deep prayer life when your enemies surround you, accuse you, and often attempt to execute and silence you. 
 
Some will manifest in this next year as false friends who use and abuse your friendships and contacts, in order to gain access to notoriety and power over all of the things you are supposed be preparing for yourself. 
 
They will exhaust and weaken you until you once and for all put upon the altar of surrender, any need for someone else to carry you or promote you.  
 
A man or a woman of prayer in these days, right now, will learn to sweep out iniquity, falseness, slander, and “hierarchical pecking orders” through goodness and humility.
 
This is a time to trust, to depend upon, to lean upon, the goodness of the Lord. 
This is a time to trust in His sovereignty more than ever before.
It is His right to define what grace is. 
It is not man’s right. 
 
Prophetic Exhortation 
“And so says the Lord, the Spirit of Grace,
the Voice of Wisdom, and the only Almighty One. 
As you cry out for times of refreshing, for a change in the hearts of men, for a move of my Spirit across the lands of Earth, my command to you is that you begin to create an atmosphere where I may speak My plans, according to My Word and according to My prerogatives.
 
I will lead you and guide you with enough light each day, as you come to that narrow place with me. 
 
I will strengthen your weakened emotions and spiritual discernment as you dialogue in honesty with me. 
 
Some of you must quickly repent of foolish choices and foolish actions that have caused many to be shattered and shamed because you spoke out of a title or calling, rather than out of following my voice.
 
Begin to dig wells in prayer. 
Become entrenched and immersed in it, never ceasing. 
Prepare places where my rain may fall and cause a fresh drinking place for those yet to taste of my goodness, as well as for those who are thirsty within my Body.
 
Begin to dig wells in prayer in dry places, with humility and goodness. 
Lean upon me, trust in me, do not lean upon your own understanding, for you have well seen that having done this in the past you have missed many opportunities to prepare a way of salvation for others.
“I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.” (Isaiah 48:10)
 
So comfort yourself, weary and tried believer with this thought. Does not the word come like a soft shower, quieting the fury of the flame? Is it not a fireproof armor against the heat, which will then have no power? 
 
Whatever happens to you in this valley of weeping, know that I have chosen it for you.
If you still require an even greater comfort, remember that you have the Son of man with you in the valley, in that “secret place” with you.  There He sits by your side, One whom you have not seen but whom you love and whether you know it or not, this is the true friend who sticks closely by you.
I will never leave one whom I have chosen as my own.
 
Great grace. Great mercy. Great promise. 
All these are yours, extended from my hand, and for you to extend, from your hand. 
 
NOW IS THE SEASON…
…To live out the heart and life of the servant as I lead you with the little light that you have at this time. It is all you need as long as it comes from me. 
It is a time to learn to march forward, to dig wells, to prepare, so that others may also drink freely with no restraints.
When I come and speak to you and move among you, I express everything that is pure and lovely and has a good report and sin and uncleanliness depart.
Peace also rains when I move with humble power. Gentleness will be the result of my transforming power. 
Harmlessness will follow, for hearts that are touched by me are never exhibiting any feelings of superiority, self-assertiveness, or showiness.
My grace is sufficient for you, and you will find it if you will seek it, and above all if you will express it!
“Be strong in the grace that is in me.” (2 Timothy 2:1)
As a reservoir empties itself into pipes, so have I emptied out my grace for my people in this Next Wave of My Heart. 
From my fullness you have received “Grace for Grace”. Grace is always available from me, without price.
“Keep yourselves then, from overconfident, arrogant sins.” (Psalm 19:13) 
You will certainly stumble if you look away from the One who is able to keep you from falling. 
 
Be very cautious about pushing yourself into the forefront of public gatherings and among the more visible. If you are to be used in higher visibility, let it be Me who promotes you there. 
Some who drive themselves to the forefront will also have greater scrutiny and unfortunate exposure of hidden agendas and unholy transactions in this season, and sadly will be brought low again because of their self presumption of importance. 
 
If your love is fervent, your faith constant, and your hope bright, continue 
nonetheless to be on your guard and cry out, “Keep us from temptation!”
 
The seasons revolve according to my Divine appointment and man cannot change their schedule. 
In the spiritual as in the natural realm, man’s power is limited.
I alone can remove the winter of spiritual death from an individual or from a church.
Let me hear you say, “Not my will, but as you will oh Lord!” 
As you yield to me my people, I will yield in return and bring the sweetness of my Holy Presence into your very homes, your gatherings, whether modest or larger numbers are attending. 
I look for honest, wisdom-filled, and humble people to move among and to move through.  
 
Let it be, as I desire! 
As I will!  
Allow me to determine what is the best for you. 
Be content to leave your prayer and your petitions in my hands.
I know when to give, how to give, what to give, and what to withhold.
 
As you visit me in the secret place of repentance and brokenness, as the path becomes narrower, seeking me earnestly and often times pleading with humility and resignation, you shall surely prevail!
I am the light on your pathway. And, I AM all you need.” 
 
This Was A Strong Word From The Lord! 
I encourage you to listen to it and read it and meditate over it, several times, allowing the Holy Spirit to do a deeper work in your heart. 
When the Spirit of God speaks to us about a Season that we are in, or about things that are to come, we need to cleanse our hearts from being impatient, and allow Him to do that work that gets down deep inside and pushes out anything that we are running from, or, He begins to deal with the things that we have been asking questions about, and now he’s bringing the answers. 
I bless you today and encourage you to dedicate yourselves to rich and set apart time in prayer and fellowship with the King of heaven. 
I encourage you to dig wells in prayer. 
It’s not glamorous! 
But, I can tell you this we’ve been having prayer gatherings every Thursday evening now for well over two years now, actually, three now, and I can tell you that there have been nights where it seems like two hours went by and it felt like 15 minutes.
The presence of the Holy Spirit is so sweet and thick, and you know the scripture talks about “the weight of his glory” (2 Corinthians 16-18) there is a presence of weight, a thickness of the presence of God, a rich atmosphere.  
We have seen the impossible take place in prayer!  We have seen lives changed,  we have seen court cases reversed, we have seen sick bodies be recovered and restored and miracles take place in families. 
We are grateful to the Lord that when we come together in his name, he is there with us, and that scripture that says whenever two or more gather in  my name there I am in the midst of them, (Matthew 18:20), that can correspond with the scripture verse that talks about a threefold cord is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12), and that’s like three strands of a braid. 
 
When we are braided together, that’s a strong bond with the Lord and He is like a cord that’s bound to us whenever we gather and it’s not easily broken and cannot be broken by any other force,
We live in the presence of a Sovereign, Mighty Force, 
and that is the Savior, Jesus Christ.

”ATTRACTING THE EYE OF GOD AND HEARING HIS SECRETS FOR CURRENT TIMES AND EVENTS” - A Prophetic Insight

I had just worked four days and had put in 46 hours on my feet. I was tired. I had spoken life and ministered to many people in my position as an office manager and chiropractic assistant to a wonderful Doctor that loves people and loves God. But nonetheless, I was tired.
 
I had been asked to come and minister at a women’s gathering on my day off, which would be Friday evening. I rested part of the day, did laundry the rest of the day and spoke to the Lord and prepared what he was giving me for the evening ministry meeting.
 
As I Got In The Car, I Noticed That My Indicators Were Telling Me There Was Something Wrong With The Car. Engine light flashing, cruise button not working and I had no time to spare to get to the meeting on time. So, I simply prayed, put my pedal to the metal and prayed all the way there.
 
When I Arrived, The Room Was Filled With Tired, Weary Women, Who Had Also Been Working Hard. Many of them, single mothers, many of them were parents who had taken on the adoption of their children’s children, because their own children had gone wild and embraced a lifestyle of drugs and freedom. They were pouring everything they had into these grandchildren, yet they still came. Many in the room we’re still seeking employment because they had lost previous jobs due to economic down change. And there, sitting in the church were young pregnant mothers.
 
Also, in the room were teenage high school girls and there I was, sent in my fatigue, to speak to them about the hope of Christ. I can tell you, I am so grateful for time in the word and time in prayer that anchors us and shows us the purpose beyond our own, as to why God sends us into different places.
 
I Was Honest, I Was Raw, And I Was Right In Front Of Them As One Of Them. As I began to talk about what it means to be in the presence of God, to really know him and his presence, and that it is there for us to draw from, to drink from, in order to survive this cruel world, something in the room began to change.
 
We are all aware of when the presence of God comes into a meeting and we call it the glory of God, Or We Call It The “Shekinah Glory”, Or The Holy Presence Of The Lord, And All Of This Is Very True! But in this meeting there was such a kindness and such tenderness towards this room of women who showed up on a Friday night after a long workweek, just to come in hope that they could touch the hem of his garment.
 
There were people in that group from about 11 years old all the way up to I would say late 70s. But every single one of them were women created in the fashion that God wanted them to be made in. Each of them still has dreams alive inside of them, even if their bodies are aging and are beginning to slow down a bit. There’s a fire inside of them that God wants to keep lit so that he may use them to the fullest.
 
But How Do You Address Those Situations With Multiple Generations? You talk to them about how much God loves them. You tell them about the hope that Jesus brings and then you get honest and tell them where you are!
 
When You Don’t Put Yourself On A Pedestal or lift up the icon of “your great knowledge of the Lord”, but instead, you get in the boat with them, they suddenly feel that they can receive from something or someone who “gets where they are at”.
 
I told stories of when I was a young girl, and first came to know the Lord and I had the young girls laughing, and it was so wonderful! But the Lord gave me their attention then.
 
I began to talk about raising children and how frightening it can be in a world where the narratives are screaming to influence our children’s minds, and I cheered the mothers on who are willing to do the hard things of homeschooling or be on top of the things their children are learning at school and to be vocal.
 
I talked about what it means to have pain in a family and to see children suffer, to see orphaned and adopted children come into your home, and you love, and care and nurture them as your very own.
 
And, I talked about when our bodies begin to change and grow a bit weaker and a bit older, the things we must do to remain strong in the Lord and yet what we can do with what we have, and how we can walk the floors in prayer, how we can be in the church building and pray for those who need to know Christ, and if we can’t walk, we can ride in our car and drive around and pray for our neighborhoods.
 
You See The Nurturing Quality Of God Is Real!
It is the Holy Spirit in a mothering form, but it also has to come across with direction.
 
People Are Looking For Direction Today.
They need to see a course set out before them that has light and hope, and the wonderful woman of God, Deborah in the scriptures, had a journey, and a story to tell that in fact, turned her nation around because she chose to work and do the hard things in her community, where God began to then build a rapport with those who would even go to war and lead the armies.
 
God Is Raising Up Many Deborahs In This Hour. Many who have been silent and quiet. Maybe it’s your wife, maybe it’s your daughter, and maybe it’s your grandmother.
 
But right now there are women who see on the horizon, the great and dark, gloomy agendas of the world. And Friends, when you have a mother’s, fighting spirit and you have experience, there is nothing you will not do to stand up and protect your family and to go to war in the kingdom of God.
 
“God's eyes are searching to and fro over the earth looking for a heart that is fully His.”  -2 Chronicles 16:9
 
What caught His eye when He came to Deborah?
Was it the uncompromising fire of holiness, an unwavering faith or an unrelenting love that set her apart? Was it something about the integrity of her character, the depth and integrity of her wisdom and the richness of her kindness, which produced confidence in both men and women? 
 
THE LORD IS SO JEALOUS
FOR EACH ONE OF US
TO LOVE HIM AND KNOW HIM!
 
When We Start To Move Away From Him, He Allows Evil Kings To Oppress Us. The Word tells us that God is the one who appoints evil kings and magistrates, but He also rises up the godly judges and kings!
 
Deborah was the fourth judge and for the first 20 years of her 40-year reign, the nation was oppressed by one of history's most powerful and cruel Canaanite Kings, Jabin, and his sneaky military commander, Sisera. (Judges 4:1-4)
 
Deborah Captured The Heart Of God!
What is amazing is that the Lord raised up a woman to deliver a nation! What is especially surprising is that it happened in the Middle East thousands of years ago! Deborah was not only a wife, mother, intercessor, psalmist and prophetess but also a judge and a national deliverer. That’s not a bad resume for a middle-aged woman living in that oppressive Middle Eastern culture!
 
Against Great Odds, God Used Her Powerfully.
Deborah broke outside of her culture but she wasn't in rebellion, she was in obedience -- to her God. She was used radically and set her people free, and the people loved her. It's a wonderful story of faith in God, and it champions men and women partnering together in a war to save their nation from great oppression.
When we read about this revolutionary prophetess and judge, it expands our religious studies of women being allowed to lead governmentally. But I really feel that God is raising up a troupe of end-time Deborahs.
 
THERE IS GREAT GLOBAL SHAKING
THAT HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN,
AND THE LORD IS CALLING NOT ONLY
THE MEN, BUT ALSO THE WOMEN OF GOD!
 
The Lord is saying,
“ARISE! SHINE Deborahs!
Be a part of the army of the Lord!”
 
There Are Two Root Words For Consecrate In Hebrew: never (separating from) and cades (separating unto).
Deborah, Like The Other Defenders Of The Faith, Was Separated From The World And Unto God. She did nothing on her own but spoke just what the Father taught her.
This is where the true victory lies,
in listening to Him.
 
Deborah's Work History
We tend to think of multi-tasking as a 21st century sensation, but Deborah was functioning in five major roles. Many scholars believe that one of Deborah's roles before becoming judge was being a lamp lighter in the temple.
 
In The Bible, Oil Is Often A Symbol For The Holy Spirit. Deborah was married to Lapidoth, whose name means, shine, lamp, flame, burning lamp, lightening, and torch. Isn't it interesting? He, too, was a lamp that had oil!
 
Deborah Was A Keeper Of The Oil And Light, Carefully Tending The Lamps. This shows us that she was a woman who was passionately spending long hours dwelling in the temple.
She was a woman of prayer and of worship. She lived between two villages, Ramah and Bethel, in Ephraim, which means the valley of fruitfulness.
 
Biblical Names Often Have Profound Prophetic Meanings. The ancient village of Ramah was known to be the seat of high adultery.
Bethel was known as the house of the Lord with open heavens, where Jacob had his ladder experience in Genesis 28.
 
Deborah stood in the gap interceding between the seat of high idolatry and pagan worship and the house of Bethel with its open heavens.
Now The Picture Becomes A Little Clearer As“ Deborah Was Raised Up By God To Intercede Against Idolatry (Ramah). She wanted to turn the hearts of the children of Israel back to the house of God (Bethel) to inherit a double portion of fruit (Ephraim).
 
Deborah's Relationship With The Lord Was Very Precious And Intimate.
I believe that in those twenty years of captivity, Deborah stood in the gap and interceded to change the course of Israel. God promised Abraham, in Genesis 18, that He would save a nation for the sake of ten righteous men. I believe that the righteous prayers of Deborah availed much!
 
She Worshipped And Had A Deep Intercessory Life With God. She would go into the temple and fill the lamps with oil and ask God for revelation for people around her in great darkness.
 
She was prepared in this secret place as she stood in the gap in desperate intercession for her people and her nation. She would hear from God and would bring down great wisdom and counsel.
 
She Spent Long Hours In The Temple.
This dedication moved the very heart of God and changed the very heart of Deborah.
He led, she followed.
She led, Israel followed.
 
Oftentimes we have the misunderstanding that worship is merely the thirty-minute time slot before the sermon, when we sing songs of devotion to God. This is part of worship.
 
But Doing Small Things With Great Love Unto Him Is Living A Life Of Worship. Deborah was a worshipper who loved the oil of the lamps, the Holy Spirit.
 
We Need To Be Like Deborah, Men And Women Of Prayer. Sincere and passionate prayer is the key to unlock our relationship with Almighty God.
 
Many struggle with praying because they feel that their intercession is not much more than empty cries to an invisible God who seems so distant. We often think that our prayers bounce off the ceiling and back to us unheard and unanswered.
 
But Beloved! God Loves Conversing With You!
He promises that He will hear you and answer!

Our Hunger For God Is What Fuels Our Prayer Life. When His presence is our passion and our hunger is for His heart, we can approach the throne of God boldly with the confidence that our Papa loves our prayers, but having this first love is so important. 
 
For Deborah, intercession was an exchange of ideas in which God began to download strategic battle plans, blue prints from heaven, and keys to open doors that no man can shut, and shut doors that no man can open. Isa. 22:22 How else could she have so wisely judged so many civil cases with the Israelites?
 
The journey of Deborah is a declaration
of the power of just ONE life…
…Fully set apart for God.
 
Deborah Stood As A Prophetic Representation,
a suggestion that as a woman who may have been weaker in her physical attributes, she had the word of God! She had a history of going in and lighting the lamps.
 
She Had A History Of Hearing The Voice Of God In The Secret Place. So swiftly, when the hour came for her tangibly to go into war, she was ready. She was in the place to say yes because she knew the voice of her God.
 
What Is The Reason Why God Was Attracted To The Life Of Deborah? Prophetess Deborah functioned in the divine dimension of a spirit of wisdom and revelation. It was almost as if God had supernaturally, placed a divine compass in her, always guiding her to Him. The judging that Deborah did so well might have been because of her gift as a prophetess.
 
She would have been able to make wise decisions if she saw well in the Spirit. She was humble, willing and wise.
 
In Matthew Henry's Commentary, he writes:
“She was a woman of illuminations, or of splendors, one extraordinarily known and wise, and so came to be eminent and illustrious. She was intimately acquainted with God, she was a prophetess, and one that instructed others in divine knowledge by the inspiration of the Spirit of God, and had gifts of wisdom, to which she attained not in an ordinary way; she heard words of God, and she probably saw visions of the Almighty. She was totally devoted to Israel. After Jehovah, Israel was she first love.”
 
Deborah Was One Who Received Fresh Instructions From Heaven,and though she knew how evil the oppression of King Jabin was, she also knew that with God anything is possible! Something in Deborah knew how to pull on the sources of heaven, standing in the guidance of the Lord (Jer. 23) and open her mouth and let Him fill it (Psa. 81:10).
 
She Was A Mother Of Israel.
What made this woman a mother of Israel?  Deborah loved well.
Imagine facing the unending line of people all needing a touch of heaven. Imagine her tired eyes looking out on the faces of His design as she felt the ache in their hearts for God. They had come so far, how could they leave empty handed? The eleven other scattered tribes of Israel walked for miles and risked their lives on the dangerous highways as they struggled through to hear from God, through Deborah's voice. 
 
In Judges 5:6-8, listen to what she says.
“The highways were deserted, and the travelers walked along the byways. Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, until I, Deborah, arose, Arose a mother in Israel. They chose new gods; then there was war in the gates.”
I believe that Deborah could hear the groans of the Israelites who were oppressed for 20 years and feel the throbbing pain in God's heart over His people's sin and oppression.
 
I Believe That It Was Her Ability To Hear His Heartbeat That Allowed Her To Save A Nation In A Day. Deborah ruled with the sword of a prophet but the staff of a shepherd -- she truly loved God's people.
She always led well. She led by loving.
 
Military Policymaker Deborah Was More Than A Judge; She Was Used To Deliver Israel From The Second Longest Captivity. As a prophetess and military strategist, she called the nation to war. She not only brandished the hand of God but also operated with the heart of God. You see, Deborah was a deliverer!
She Loved The People And They Loved Her.
She Delivered Them From A Great Enemy.
 
The Lord literally issued a clear prophetic word to summon Barak, the Israeli commander, to rally the troops for battle against impossible odds.
Why? Because the Hebrews had no weapons -- none. They had all been taken away by the Canaanites.
 
God Showed Deborah The Secrets Of How To Win The Battle. She brought a holy “about-face” to the wicked plans of Israel. When the city gates were at war, Deborah, a mother of Israel who was willing to lay down her life for her God and county, arose.
 
Why We Need Deborahs To Arise And Shine Today
There is a cry going out
from the hearts of God’s people
about the oppression the church is under
 from the enemy.
 
Heaven Is Aware Of The Issues Affecting The People Of God. But, until a cry goes out from the people of God, the hands of Heaven are tied.
 
Without A Cry, We Show We Are Satisfied Or Comfortable With The Way Things Are. The harassment had been going on for well over 20 years. How long do we put up with things before we cry out for change? 
 
GOD HAS BEEN WATCHING AND STIRRING UP DEBORAHS
FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW
AND THE TIMING IS RIGHT.
 
When We Get To The Place
To Where Revival Itself Isn’t Enough,
But We Must See Change Take Place,
We Know We Are On The Verge
Of Something Great.
 
We Have Got To Get To The Place
That We Don’t Just Want Change,
But We Are Willing To Rise Up
And Put Our Hands To The Plow,
To See Change Occur.
 
Actions truly do speak louder than words.
 
Deborah Represents The Steadiness And Dependability Necessary To Both Win And Keep Victory. Barak means “lightning flash”. That is temporary.
We don’t need a temporary fix or a temporary anointing. If a temporary, quick fix was enough; we would be in a great position by now! We didn’t get to where we are at quickly, and the victory must be won with reliability and dedication.
 
When Deborah Arose, The Warriors Returned. There is a group of God’s warriors who are waiting for someone to rise up and lead them back to the place and position for which they have been created.
God bestowed peace and victory for 40 years. The time of victory was twice as long as the time of oppression. The sad part is that after the 40 years, the Israelites went back to their wicked ways and found themselves in a place of oppression again.
 
Let Us Be Men And Woman Who Will Stand In The Breach
And Go Before God And Cry Out In Intercession These Very Words,
 
“Lord, we need restoration!
Lord, we need the Kingdom of God to
break in with the resurrection power of life!”
 
This Is A Call To Combat!
This is a call for you to say that you want to hear the voice of God…

’A TIME FOR PRECISE ACTS OF GOD’ - THE OPENING OF DOORS AMONG HIS OWN PECULIAR PEOPLE

It’s a wonderful thing to be able to give a hand to someone who is in turmoil, but we can’t do it by just quoting nice Christian sayings or throwing out a random scripture at them.
It’s so easy to say, “Oh yes! Just trust in God! It’ll all work out. Somehow somewhere God will help you!”
 
When we see a person who is going through trials and who knows God, but is struggling hard, who is deeply fatigued and bobbing up and down under the water, barely keeping afloat, due to some difficulty or trial of their faith, we need to lift them up and we are not to judge them, because it is a slander against the very loved creation of Jesus Christ.
Oswald Chambers had a tremendous statement about this.
He said, “It’s a great thing to see physical courage, and still even strong, moral courage, but the greatest thing is to see spiritual courage, to see that we can help others stand true and strong in the integrity of Jesus, no matter what they are going through. People who have gone through a hot fire or as some call it, a crucible, these tested individuals are going to be a tremendous support to many other people.”
 
He went on to say,
“Here’s the reason we go through the things we do.  God wants to know if he can make us “good bread - good food” to feed to other people.”
 
In first Peter one through eight Peter says to us, “Though right now, you’re grieved by so many different trials, hang in there, remember the inheritance! It’s not messed up it’s not defiled, it’s not made dirty. Look to Jesus and you will receive the ultimate result and reward of your faith.”
 
MY FELLOW BELIEVERS, THERE’S A TIME COMING WHEN EVERYTHING THAT RIGHT NOW THAT IS A PROBLEM, WILL BE PERFECTLY SOLVED. In the meantime, are we prepared to let people poke at us, to joke at us, to humiliate us, to let them have their momentary agendas over certain narratives?
When you stick it out and hold on, looking to the greater horizon, to the very central part of Christianity, which is your personal walk, your personal relationship to Jesus, how do you continue to handle the cruelties of this current world system?
 
LOOK TO HIM! LOOK AT HIM!
Which actually means, look for spiritual discernment, remembering it’s a difficulty to be weak, and God strengthens us to go through anything when Jesus Christ is what he is, and who he said he was!
 
“If we have a trial of faith, we must endure it until we get through it,
and more often than not, even other Christians who are watching
might pull back in disgust at our difficulties or losses.”
 
THESE INDIVIDUALS HAVE YET TO ACTUALLY SURRENDER THEIR LIVES TO HUMILITY. They enjoy thinking God has blessed them with earthly things and pleasures because somehow, they are more clever and worked harder at achieving.
 
THE RICH YOUNG RULER WAS MUCH LIKE THIS.
He did all the right actions, was good hearted and generous, oh yes! But he loved the attention it garnered as well. When Jesus asked him to sell it all, sell out 100% to help those around him, and to come and follow Jesus, he couldn’t. He loved being in charge and in control of his own destiny.
 
IT SAYS THAT HE WENT AWAY SAD.
Sad because he couldn’t live both lifestyles at the same time.
He most likely thought he could finance Jesus quite well, and make a return on his investment if the marketing drew good crowds!
 
IF YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH TRIALS OF FAITH IN THE PAST,
GOD WILL THEN BRING ACROSS OUR PATHS
OTHER MORE IMMATURE SOULS,
AND WE HAVE NO BUSINESS DESPISING THEM.
 
WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP THEM.
We are to be to them something that has embraced and fully transferred into our souls, which is, the very fundamental nature of Jesus.
Remember, people will draw off of that “virtue” leaving you.
The scripture says Jesus, knew in himself that power had gone out of him. This is when the woman with the shaming, hemorrhaging issue of blood said, “If I could just touch that piece of fabric, the hem of his garment!” and Jesus did say, “Someone touched me! I felt Virtue leave me!”
 
FRIENDS! YOU AND I WILL FEEL THE SAME THING!
There are people who spiritually and morally who will literally draw or pull the virtue out of your life, and if you don’t keep up the supply from the life of Jesus Christ you will be exhausted! We must keep our spiritual strength strong and let others nourish themselves until they are able to stand on their own feet, and then take direct life instructions from him.
 
DON’T BE DISTURBED IF PEOPLES LIVES SEEM TO BE MESSY…
… OR THINGS ARE CHANGING AND NOT FITTING PERFECTLY LIKE A JIGSAW PUZZLE PIECE!
It actually means there is a terrific possibility of greater things developing!
And the same thing spiritually is that if there is turbulence in our lives, God is turning it into the right thing in the right time! So, in the meantime, look to Jesus, and take the next step as it comes.
 
“GET THROUGH WHATEVER YOU’RE GOING THROUGH
AND YOU’LL BE A TREMENDOUS ASSISTANCE TO OTHERS
WHO ARE GOING THROUGH THE VERY SAME THING!”
 
IT’S NOT FOR US TO SHAME OR HUMILIATE OR CRITICIZE OTHERS for not being where you are spiritually, but instead, it’s for us to see that we are good nourishing bread for these people in the hands of God. 
If we look at Job Chapter one verse one that verse certainly speaks loudly!
It says Job was blameless and upright.  He feared God and pushed away or shunned evil and this was the character God gave to Job.
God asked Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There’s no one on earth like him”, and Satan, then replied and said, “Well, strip him, and he will curse you to your face!”
 
SATAN WANTED JOB TO FALL. HE WANTS US TO FALL,
But God wanted Job to be blessed. So Satan tried to strip Job from God.
With a Malignant, and a strong, strong, evil energy, he goes to work, and then in one day he brought the greatest man in all of the East into abject poverty and then visits him with great sadness, blow after blow of such a difficult and crushing nature and with such speed this all fell upon Job!
We just have to marvel at the testimony of the Holy Spirit that in all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God with wrongdoing, that’s in verse 22 of Job one.
What a massive win for God, and what a punch in the face and a defeat for Satan.
 
A Current Prophetic Word
Many hidden and also more visual Prophetic individuals are hearing similar threads and words from the Holy Spirit regarding what I’m about to share with you.
I encourage you to be very focused and still as you take these insights to heart.
The Father has things that are very succinct and encouraging for you to hear.
“Those who have stayed faithful to God’s leading, stepping out into new things will start to see doors opened into the promises. The prophetic word of testing and preparing them for this time is now coming to pass.
There is a precise blessing for the double portion where that which was conceived and dreamed about in the years past, and now it surfaces into a double blessing.
This is the year where the prophetic voice brings into the open new life, brings restoration, strengthening the weary soul, enlarging your heart, resurrecting the dry bones.
This is the prophecy to His church. ‘As you reorder, reset yourself to His leading, His mission, and His headship, He brings the wind of His Spirit to cause His church to rise up. Expect to see resurrection in the church’.
Doors begin to appear for many, with heavenly encounters and signs showing the way. Those who have stayed faithful to God’s leading, stepping out into new things will start to see doors opened into the promises.
For some, this year will be one where you start to truly enter the dream you felt God called you to during the last year or two, even though it seemed to lead to nothing, and you found yourself back at the beginning of where it all started.
But through the voice of the Father and the Son, they have been establishing you, preparing you, for what lies ahead. This year, development has been taking place, positioning you for the door that is about to open.
The is the beginning of the prophetic word and dream being realized…
…But it is only the beginning.
The place where no options and hard brick walls once existed, now, doors appear, new partnerships and pure relationships continue to be revealed.
This is for personal moves of God and for national moves of God globally.
The moment and movements, yes, better mobility allowing the passage through the doors is being made possible.However, be wise and aware that the enemy crouches at the door, so don’t be deceived, but in the power of God and faith in His leading, continue, despite the battle.
Know too that Satan will seek to deceive by building his false gates and attractive “other doors” options, flanking the Lord’s, so; prayerfully seek the will of God.
The key that opens the Doors of The Father is humility and dependence on Him.
This door is opened by the Doorkeeper.
Hearts once closed to love will begin to open the journey to humility, bringing about those who will bend their knees. Those who carry the gospel will see their light received by those bowing and seeking God, and a new awakening will take place.
It’s time for the doorkeepers to announce the invitation, ‘Come, enter into His presence, open your heart to His perfect love, and you will find rest. The Lord will make His home in you.’

PERHAPS YOU HAVEN'T CONSIDERED YOURSELF PECULIAR, BUT THAT’S HOW THE APOSTLE PAUL REFERS US TO.
Why? Because Peculiar People walk by the spirit, and not by the flesh. In our temporal life on this earth we are bombarded with difficult situations. However, even as we live in the flesh our life is hidden in God and we who walk in the spirit overcome these situations.
“I am crucified with Christ nevertheless, I live, yet, not I but Christ, who lives himself in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
THERE IS A SONG THAT WAS OFTEN SUNG IN WORSHIPS SERVICES THAT ORIGINATED FROM PSALM 48:1-3 
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.
In the city of our God, on the mountain of his holiness.
Beautiful for situations, the God of the whole earth,
Is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the City of the Great King?
 
ON THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES, THE INGATHERING, THE FIRST NIGHT OF SUKKOTH, SEPTEMBER 30, 2023, AT 4AM, I WAS AWAKENED AND WALKED OUTSIDE TO SEE THE FULL HARVEST MOON.
It was an unusually bright night.
Prophetically it represented the soon coming harvest of souls about to be ingathered to His Kingdom.
Next to the moon shown the planet Venus - the morning star. We know the Morning Star to be another name Jesus gave to Himself in the Book of Revelations. I also saw the Little Dipper shining very brightly as if reporting that His Saints were about to “dip in“ and gather the end time harvest for the Kingdom of God.
In this weary season because of the constant assault of evil agendas we often feel as if we are literally on the battlefield of the last days War between Two Kingdoms. Satan’s assault, his purpose, is to steal, kill and destroy, particularly from the Saints of God. His method is to first come by fearful thought to distract us from who we are in our spirit man and steal our divine purpose.
 
MANY SAINTS ARE PRESENTLY BURDENED BY SITUATIONS OF THE WORLD. They are looking to their situations as being more real than God’s Word and the power that He has given to them. If your purpose is stolen it is equal to neutralizing you or equal to spirituality killing you.
When your eyes are focused more upon the negative situation than on who we are in Christ, then Satan has not only stolen from you, he has robbed you of your true identity. The ‘eyes of our flesh’ are then held captive by him as we focus more on the problem than the victory we have in Jesus. He said, “I have come that you might have life abundantly!” We stand as conquerors in Him or we succumb to the trouble and are defeated.
 
GOD SAYS WE ARE A PECULIAR PEOPLE.
Why?
We who know our God intimately, walk in the spirit and not in the flesh.
We are unmoved by situations. “He who has ears to hear, (he who walks in the spirit realm), let him hear what God is saying to the churches.”
 
EARLY IN 2022 THE LORD SPOKE TO ME AND SAID,
“Live in the history of your future!”
Exactly what does that mean?
Ask yourself these questions:
In the spirit realm how do you envision yourself in the future?
What are (or will be) your accomplished results?
 What passions did God instill in you and what purpose has He created in you before the foundation of the world?
 
IN THE SPIRIT, IN THE FUTURE, DO YOU SEE YOURSELF
SETTLED AND LOOKING BACK ON YOUR LIFE
 HAVING COMPLETED WHAT GOD HAS PURPOSED FOR YOU
TO ACCOMPLISH DURING YOUR SHORT SPAN ON THE EARTH?
 
In the midst of your current situation, according to your future self, do you look back at the present obstacles, the situation that Satan threw at you to trip you up, and see yourself as having overcome it? 
Do you envision yourself as confident in the Lord having applied His word and having walked by faith and not by sight?
In the spirit you are imagining that you have advanced yourself in faith?
Are you living in the years yet to come and looking back to the now seeing how you overcame the situation by the Word of God? That is how you live now “…in the history of your future!”
You borrow from your future victorious self and apply that to the present.
 
FOR EXAMPLE, LOOKING AT A MONETARY SITUATION OF LACK OF FINANCES, IT IS ALWAYS ACCOMPANIED WITH ANXIETY.
Scripture says, “Anxiety in the heart of a man weighs it down.” - Proverbs 12:25.
IT IS THE DEVIL’S TRAP TO DIVERT YOU INTO EMBRACING WORRY RATHER THAN FOCUSING ON ALL THAT YOU HAVE SUPPLIED IN THE PROMISES OF THE LORD. That same scripture above is completed with “but a good word makes it glad!” In other words, focusing on the Word of God and the promises He made to provide for you are more powerful than any lack you might be experiencing in the natural.
 
YOU ARE A PECULIAR PEOPLE!
You are not moved by what you see, by what present upsetting situations you are going through. “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”  Peculiar People have joy in the midst of natural situations. They override circumstances by faith standing on the promises of God.  In their spirit they see themselves having passed through the “valley of the shadow of death” overcoming these natural situations by remaining confident in what God says about them.
 
PECULIAR PEOPLE HAVE A FOUNDATION ON WHICH THEY STAND.
“Having done all to stand,” (standing firm on the Word and who God called them to be), “stand therefore!” They see themselves, not on the defense, but on the offense, having the upper hand. They confidently wrestle the adversary and rejoice in prayers of thanksgiving. They are resolute in presenting themselves and pleading their case before the Throne of Grace, fully dressed in the armor of God, which is the holy character of the Lord Jesus. They stand in faith stating what scripture says about their situation saying, “God, here is what your Word says about it and I’m holding you to it!” He loves that boldness!
 
PECULIAR PEOPLE STAND FIRM AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL BECAUSE THEY SEE THEMSELVES AS VICTORS.
They envision who they have become in their future self.
They know who they are because of what Jesus did on the Cross and who God called them to be.
They know their purpose is to bring heaven to earth, to be a present expression that represents the faith of all the great Cloud of Witnesses.
Peculiar People already envision themselves as having defeated the devil and as being part of the City of God, the New Jerusalem. This is their future! “Live NOW in the history of your future!”
They have already overcome natural situations and the devil’s ploy against them.
HOW YOU ASK? 
“And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.” Revelations 12:11 (Amplified)
 
FIRST, VICTORY COMES BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB.
They identify themselves with Christ on the Cross having had died with Him, then having risen with Him where their life is conducted by faith and hidden in the Son of God.
Secondly, it is by the word of their testimony, their covenant!
They live their earthly lives through Him in spirit over the flesh. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Forever is the spiritual place that is beyond the dimension of eternity. It has no beginning and no end. These saints are hosting Christ in their spirit; therefore, they live through the Alpha and Omega in this life on earth.
Thirdly, they overcame Satan in their identity with Christ because they love not their our own lives, their own soul and body, even to a situation of facing physical death. If necessary, in our stand against Satan, we volunteer for martyrdom.
How is the possible? Because we have already died with Him!
 
PECULIAR PEOPLE LIVE THROUGH CHRIST JESUS BY WALKING IN THE SPIRIT, a realm higher than our natural earthly physical life. We live on Mount Zion, the city of the New Jerusalem, along with the victorious Saints who have preceded us.
The Morning Star has risen in our heart and we see ourselves for who we are as victors in the spirit. We live now on this earth borrowing on the promise of who we will be in the age to come. We live in the history of our future! We live as the Ingathered.
We call those things that are not (presently in the midst of our situations) as though they were, because by faith, in the spirit realm, they already are a reality in the purpose of Christ within us. That is how you fulfill and complete the part of the prayer that Jesus taught His disciples to pray, and to live. “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven.”
 
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU!
It is your personal relationship with God in spirit.
It is your union with Him in revelation that you are one with God in intimacy.
Once that is established, and then you can confidently carry His presence outwardly and exhibit His nature toward others.
 
YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND RADIATE HIS GLORY.
That is what it means to bring His Kingdom on earth “as it is in heaven.”
 
PECULIAR PEOPLE BRING THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN TO THE EARTH.
Stand firm in who you are as the bright Morning Star continues to arise in your heart, even to its brightest, as the light of the full day or noon.
Live today in the history of your future. Be Peculiar.

”THE HAND OF GOD OVER YOUR CITY” - A WORD AND A WARNING

In this podcast I will be speaking about an experience that I had which was completely unexpected, yet several consecutive things took place indicating a Word and warning from the Lord regarding our City. This happened in late August of 2019, right before the WuhanCovid19 biological disaster was unleashed, shortly after. This is a difficult message somewhat for me to deliver yet, it’s also a wonderful insight for us all during such volatile and darks days.
This podcast was unusually difficult to pull together, due to several events that simultaneously warred against us. Pipes broke in our home and we are still sorting out that situation with great difficulty. I was suddenly very ill with a kidney/bladder situation, (I’ve never had any problems previously,) and my husband was then in pain with a sudden kidney stone! We took this to prayer along with several others praying for and with us and have seen the Lord do the work of restoring our bodies. The pipes are still in a place of prayer and decisions about what to do. BUT! God sees it all and knows the answer!
Now! Lets get to the podcast! It’s an intense but import message from the Lord at this time.
 
OFTEN THE LORD WILL LET US SEE THINGS OR CATALOG THINGS, AND THEN HE WILL PUT THESE ALL TOGETHER AND SPEAK CLEARLY ABOUT WHY HE LET US SEE OR HEAR SOME OF THEM. It’s not always easy to communicate what the Lord shows you prophetically, but I’m going to give it my best and trust that the Holy Spirit will let you hear what you’re supposed to hear, and see what you’re supposed to see.
My husband, Steve, and I went to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science’s to see “The DaVinci Experience”. I had purchased surprise birthday tickets for Steve since his birthday is in late August. As we were driving around looking for a parking space, the lots were absolutely chaotic since the location of this event also had multiple huge displays and different events going on. We finally pulled into a space quite a distance away and hurriedly got out of the car and quickly headed towards the building that the presentation and creations that DaVinci had made, were being displayed. We had a specific time slot to be in line for or we would lose our entry to view the exhibit.
As we went in, we noticed that to the left a section there were all of the musical instruments and many copies of DaVinci’s paintings and amazing inventions that literally changed the world. On the right hand side, there were large, 20-foot graphics, and then reproductions of all of the machines of war that DaVinci drew and created. He was one of the first catapult engineers! As we read about his life, he was known to have extreme artistic talent and precision engineering types of abilities, but in order for him to finance his creative artistic gift, he also had to create weapons of destruction in order for the wealthy to support him.
We moved on further into a large room that had multiple multimedia cameras positioned on huge canvases, and we watched beautiful movement and saw his most amazing art creations, projected onto massive screens with gorgeous music accompanying these. As we moved out of that room and walked around and were looking at a few more items that were created by DaVinci, I looked up and on the wall there was a statement that DaVinci had made.
I didn’t quite know why at the time but I was impressed to take a picture of it.
Here is what the statement said.
There are three classes of people:
Those who see,
Those who see when they are shown,
Those who do not see.
 
Steve and I finished the exhibit and went out into the parking lot and as we were walking towards our car, I looked in front of our car and realized we had parked in front of a large, silver colored, aluminum light pole.
Right In The Middle Of That Pole In Front Of Our Car Someone Had Carefully Used Some Kind Of A Tool To Hammer A Perfect Indentation Of A Goblet Or What Some Might Call A Cup.
I pointed this out to Steve and I said, “Why would there be a cup right where that “pole is” where we are parked?”
Again, the Holy Spirit prompted me to take a picture of what I saw. So I did. Picture below. (As a side note, the last name of our extreme liberal governor is Pol-is).
We stopped to have a birthday meal and enjoyed ourselves and then began the trek back home on Interstate 25.
We reached a specific place on the highway where you’re up above on a higher curve that turns towards the north. To the left you can see the full Rocky Mountain Front Range. The traffic was at a standstill when we hit this section and it was bumper-to-bumper.
As we were sitting there, talking about the strangeness of the DaVinci art show, I happened to look out my window, which was on the right side of the car.
Directly To My Right Up In The Sky Was A Giant Hand-Shaped Cloud. It was stretched out, reaching out over the capital or pointing toward the Capital hill area of Denver. It was so clear and obvious that people were rolling down their windows and staring, and of course phones with cameras were snapping up the picture!
Again The Holy Spirit Said, “Take A Picture Of This”, And We Were Pretty Stunned To See Something So Extremely Clear In The Sky. Down in the corner of the picture when I got home and looked at it again, was a billboard sign that said, “plumbers wanted”.
 
Of course, at the time I had no idea how all three of these pictures were going to come together, but we don’t always know what the Holy Spirit is putting together in the moment when he is showing us things that he wants us to observe and pray about. .
 
FOR MONTH AFTER MONTH I WAS PRAYING AND TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE LORD WAS SAYING TO ME ABOUT ALL OF THESE THINGS HE HAD ME SEE. Meanwhile, the legislation in the state of Colorado and bills that were being passed by them were becoming more and more restrictive and excessively contentious, and diabolical in their approach.  
 
THEN, ONE DAY, AS I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT EVERYTHING AND PRAYING, THE PICTURES ALL CAME BACK TO MY MIND.
The Holy Spirit began to speak to me about the hand of God over our city, and I was immediately reminded of the picture of the hand that I had taken in the sky.
This hand was the right hand outstretched in the sky, towards the city of Denver, and it almost looked as if there was another hand below it reaching towards it, but it was more faint.
 
WHEN GOD’S HAND IS STRETCHED OUT OVER A CITY OR TOWARDS AN INDIVIDUAL, IT IS BECAUSE HE WANTS TO EITHER BLESS THE CITY, WARN THE CITY, OR JUDGE A CITY.
In the Book of Daniel chapter five there was the hand of God that wrote on the wall of a feast taking place.
Belshazzar, the son of King Nabonidus, began to co-reign over the Babylonian empire with his father starting in 553 B.C. He decides, in 539, to hold in Babylon a great feast for one thousand of his nobles (Daniel 5:1).
No expense is spared in carrying out the lavish banquet!
During the revelry Belshazzar, now drunk from wine, commands that the holy vessels Nebuchadnezzar took from Jerusalem's temple be brought to the festivities. He then proceeds to have himself and his honored guests drink from these gold and silver goblets. The party guests soon begin to use the vessels, in a contemptuous act against God, to celebrate and praise their own pagan deities! (Daniel 5:2 - 4)
 
THE MIRACULOUS HANDWRITING
As those at the massive banquet continue to indulge in drunkenness and idolatry, the fingers of a man's hand miraculously appear near one of the hall's walls. The supernatural manifestation then begins writing on a wall the now well-known words, "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin" (Daniel 5:25).
BELSHAZZAR, WHILE HE IS WITNESSING GOD'S HANDWRITING, BECOMES TERRIFIED.
The fear welling up inside of him not only causes his face to turn pale but also his knees to knock together! His now weakened state causes him to fall to the ground (Daniel 5:5 - 6).
 
THIS WAS WORTHLESS AND VAIN
Pulling himself together, Belshazzar calls for his enchanters and astrologers to interpret the mysterious words. They, of course, prove to be worthless and unable to determine the meaning of the phrase on the wall. Following his wife's suggestion (Daniel 5:10 - 12), the king summons an old man named Daniel (likely in his 90's).
Daniel severely chastises the king for not reeling in his excessive pride and vanity, even though he knew God punished King Nebuchadnezzar’s pride. He then interprets the handwriting on the wall for the king.
 
A TRUE INTERPRETATION
The literal word for word translation of "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin" in Daniel 5:25 is "numbered" "weighed" and "divided up or split". Daniel goes into detail and tells Belshazzar that "mene" means God has numbered his kingdom and will end it. The word "tekel" suggested this judgment was due to the king's character being found morally deficient or wanting.
 
BELSHAZZAR IS KILLED SEVERAL HOURS AFTER SEEING THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL. The Persians overrun the city of Babylon (Daniel 5:31). The once great empire receives its final crushing blow when later the same year Persia's Cyrus the Great is victorious at the battle of Opis in Mesopotamia.
 
THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD HAS SHOWN ME THAT THE MEANING OF THESE THINGS THAT I SAW AND DOCUMENTED IN PICTURES, the words on the wall in the DaVinci display, the cup or chalice that was hammered on the light pole in front of where our car was parked, and then, of course, seeing the hand in the sky, are three things that really address one thing.

MANY PEOPLE ARE SEEING THAT GOD IS CALLING THEM INTO A DEEPER PLACE OF GENUINE PURITY, not a “religious” rigid, holiness, but a Divine holiness of love and faithfulness. It’s a choice to be obedient to God and these people see that God is asking them to walk a pure path with him.
They are hearing God speak in the difficult times that we are in and they are seeing him in a way they have not experienced before. These people are alive with the pursuit of the will of God for their lives and are in daily communication with God.
 
THE SECOND GROUP OF PEOPLE ARE THOSE WHO WILL “SEE WHEN THEY ARE SHOWN”.
These individuals walk in a very shallow faith and need to have facts and data that match their narrative, or match the way that “they” think. These are the people that we are to compel to seek God, to seek truth and to not seek the modern day constant “shifting of truths”, in order to convince people to follow a less then accurate way.
Individuals like this often doubt that there is only one way for salvation through Jesus Christ as the Savior and King. They dabble in light occult practices and in different forms of soul-driven “self care” practices, in order to please their flesh, as well as feed their need to be in control.
They walk in a very immature level of weak faith and often are distracted or led by emotions and feelings regarding decision-making. This is where deception easily creeps in and the louder voices of human reasoning, choke out the pure word of God.
 
THE THIRD GROUP OF PEOPLE ARE THOSE WHO DO NOT SEE.
They absolutely remain blinded. They remain stuck, and they choose to not believe the warnings around them.
In John 9:39 Jesus said,
“For judgment I have come into this world,
so that the blind will see
and those who see will become blind.”
 
AS I PONDERED THESE THINGS, and began thinking about the communion type looking cup or chalice on the light pole in front of our car, that was literally chiseled or hammered into the metal, no matter how much I tried to reason with myself that this didn’t mean anything, the Holy Spirit would not let up.
Then the Lord began to speak to me and said that this is the cup that our governor in Colorado has chosen to drink from.
I remembered my statement when I saw the cup chiseled into the light pole as we were standing there.  I vividly remember saying to my husband, “look at what is hammered onto where the pole is!” (Our governor’s name last name is Po-lis).
 
AND SO THE LORD BEGAN TO SPEAK ABOUT HIM TO ME, and, yes, we have prayed and prayed for him, and prayed that he would have his eyes opened, but in fact, he’s becoming more and more like the tyrant king Belshazzar in Daniel, who defied everything in order to build his kingdom. His lavish and wicked ways have multiplied evil and death in our state.
Many Governors and leaders are drinking from a cup of deception, sexual perversion, the murdering of children, and tyrannical law.
 
GOD’S HAND IS OUTSTRETCHED.
It was outstretched in the sky, pointing towards our state capital. God is saying to the state of corrupt Colorado, and of course, to many other states specifically that his hand is outstretched to those who will see and help, and who will obey the voice of God.
But for those that have to be shown, and for those who will not see, there is a cup to be drunk from that will be of utter sorrow and great destruction.
What amazed me about this outstretched hand in the sky was that people were at a dead stop on the highway and were all taking pictures.
Everyone knew it was a phenomenon and an unusually strange cloud! They knew it was something strange because they were taking pictures of it!
DOWN BELOW, IN THE RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE PICTURE (as I was looking at again), you can see that there is an advertisement sign that was on the opposite side of the median.
It said.
“Now Hiring” - Plumber Service. Apply Within.
I was asking the Lord why that picture seemed to be significant because I was impressed to continue looking at it, and then he revealed to me why he wanted me to pay more attention to it.
Most all of us all know that plumbers come to do some very difficult work in our homes. One of the most messy and unpleasant jobs is when they have to bring in a rotor-rooter system that needs to unclog drainpipes in order for debris and sewage and water to be able to pass through freely.
 
THE LORD IMPRESSED ME WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT PRAYER AND INTERCESSION IS MUCH LIKE PLUMBING. Those devoted to prayer stay consistent and persistent as they push against the darkness, the blockages and the strongholds that “stop-up” and keep the free flow of the Spirit of God in their cities.
INTERCESSORS KNOW THAT THE CONSISTENT APPLICATION OF PRAYER IN SPECIFIC AREAS HAS TO BE DONE WITH THE INTENT OF FOCUSED AND PURPOSEFUL PRAYER.
 
COLORADO HAS MANY DEMONIC STRONGHOLDS, AND THE DARKNESS HAS ENCROACHED AND INCREASED.
Colorado’s governor signed into law that there can be no “conversion therapy” permitted by any counselor, licensed psychiatrists or licensed, registered or certified mental health providers, in the state of Colorado according to the Movement Advancement Project.

This basically means that anyone who would want to leave a homosexual lifestyle or any other kind of sexually deviant lifestyle attached to that, cannot be counseled, as to how to do that. It is called fantasy. It is called impossibility and, it is called illegal! Christians who believe the Bible opposes homosexuality should be given “the freedom to choose counseling and support that’s one with their goals," but that the current legal trend prevents parents from doing so. If you’re a parent and you have a 5-year-old boy who’s confused about his identity, in Colorado you can’t find a licensed counselor who will help him embrace his masculine identity, and that’s a travesty.
However, Colorado law does allow for “gender-affirming care,” such as hormone therapy, for minor children, with parental consent. But, youth can access mental health care without parental consent at age of 12, which means psychotherapy of any kind, including gender-affirming counseling, is available for children 12 and older. Some states, including California, want to prohibit such therapy/counseling for adults as well.
Governor Polis also urged individuals to lie to their family members and “privately” get one of the controversial COVID-19 vaccines while engaging in deception, to keep loved ones who may be against the vaccines from finding out.

UNDERSTAND, Colorado does not make exceptions for minors to receive the COVID-19 vaccine or any vaccine without parental permission. 
THIS IS WHERE THE CHURCH MUST TO COME INTO PLAY. Ministers who are men and women of God must be available to help break the darkness, break down the lies, break down the narratives by praying and being available to the Lord (like a plumber), to clear out this blockage that is causing great difficulty in the homes and lives around them, and the hearts of many believers.
They must preach the truth regarding sexually deviant practices and pushes to influence little children that are taking place in our world.
It must be done biblically and it must be done in love.
 
ANOTHER THING THAT THIS GOVERNOR HAS SIGNED OFF INTO LAW IS THAT A CHILD CAN BE ABORTED UP TO THE VERY DAY OF BIRTH. That means a full-term baby can be murdered within seconds of being born. This is a great evil in our land, and it is a great evil to sign into law in any state!

AND SO, WE, THE INTERCESSORS OF GOD, MUST PRAY.
The part that stood out to me above all the others on the advertisement sign were the words “apply within”.
When we are intercessors for the Lord, when we are as human beings called by the Lord as believers to pray, and to do the work of intercession in prayer, to bring about a godly plumb line in our city, GOD IS LOOKING FOR THOSE THAT HE CAN “EMPLOY” or, "HIRE" TO GET THE JOB DONE. 
 
THE FATHER IS LOOKING FOR WORKERS
WHO ARE WILLING TO STAND IN THE GAP AND PRAY UNTIL CHANGE COMES.
But, it has to be applied within. Each of us has to apply that prayer to our own lives as well as seeking God, asking him to purify our hearts so that when we pray, our prayers are not hindered, and, so that the Lord hears them, from a pure heart.
We have to apply intercession “within first” so that the hand of God can move without the land.
 
WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD?
In ancient times, a person with a high or highest rank stood to the king's right side. Even today, a person may be called someone's "right hand man" or "wingman" when he or she serves as the closest person to another leader. An example of this can be found in Genesis 48:13-14 where Jacob blessed the child who would receive a greater blessing with his right hand. The right hand of God also relates to this concept of someone being right next to God, acknowledging both authority and closeness to Him.
 
WHILE GOD THE FATHER DOES NOT CONSIST OF A PHYSICAL BODY LIKE HUMANS DO, THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD IS OFTEN USED FIGURATIVELY IN SCRIPTURE. In the Old Testament, the phrase is used to refer to the coming Messiah. Psalm 110:1 predicts, "The LORD says to my Lord: 'Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool'" (also quoted in Matthew 22:44). Psalm 118:16 adds, "the right hand of the LORD exalts, the right hand of the LORD does valiantly!"
In the New Testament, we see expressions of this phrase in reference to Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:20-21 says, "…that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come."
Romans 8:34 teaches, "Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us."
 
THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD THEN, IS A REFERENCE TO BOTH A PLACE OF CLOSENESS TO GOD THE FATHER AND A POSITION OF POWER ABOVE ALL OTHER POWERS. That means that Jesus has power over any and all earthly governors operating in evil powers. Jesus the Messiah exists at the right hand of God today, perfectly reigning with God the Father and God the Spirit in community and power.
THE HAND OF GOD HAS BEEN EXTENDED, LETTING US KNOW THAT HE IS CALLING AND POINTING OUT AS A SIGN THAT HE IS LOOKING FOR INTERCESSORS. He wants to have a plumb line that is straight and in order, and, he wants his people to believe and trust in him, without having to be shown every little step of the way. He’s looking for those that will “see and believe” without having to be shown. This is where the crux of our faith comes into play.
 
WHEN IT IS SO DIFFICULT AND SO DARK, AND IT SEEMS AS IF NOTHING IS CHANGING, AND NOTHING IS MOVING, RESOURCES ARE TIGHT, PRESSURES WITHIN AND PRESSURES WITHOUT ARE PUSHING IN ON US, THIS IS WHEN THE LORD POINTS TO THE PLACE WE NEED TO BE.
 
That place is looking within our own hearts to allow him to do the work through prayer and intercession that needs to be done. We need to apply it “within”.
If you’re looking for a sign from the Lord, and you’ve been seeking him, your sign is exactly like the actual billboard sign that I saw! He is looking for you to become a person that decides to hunker down in authentic times of prayer and intercession, and apply it within, your own life.
 
AS I SHARED THESE THINGS WITH MY HUSBAND STEVE THAT I SAW AND PONDERED AND WRESTLED OVER FOR MONTHS, WE BOTH CONTINUED TO PONDER AND THOUGHT ABOUT THEM OFTEN, AND PRAYED.
One morning a few weeks later Steve, just as he was waking up, (the Lord often shows or speaks things to Steve just as he is waking up in the morning), he heard the Lord speak to him, and he was addressing our Governor.
Here is what the Lord said.
“You have been found wanting, your breath will be taken from you”.
NOW, PLEASE UNDERSTAND! WE DO NOT WISH ANY EVIL OR HARM TO COME UP ON ANYONE!
But, just as Belshazzar chose to drink from the golden and silver goblets that were to be used only for holy purposes, our governor has chosen to use the vessels God has called holy which are infants, children, and justice, and abuses them by drinking from the cup of the murderous Genocide of infants, sexual deviancy, and tyranny.
He refuses to be shown the way of the Lord, and he refuses to honor truth. He refuses to see. He wants to murder more infants and control medical care for children.
And so the Lord speaks about his right hand of judgment and literally had a right hand form in the sky above Denver, reaching towards the Colorado State Capital.
Exodus 15:6 says,
“Your right hand, O LORD, glorious in power,
Your right hand, O LORD shatters the enemy.”
 
ALL ACROSS OUR LAND, THERE ARE LEADERS
WHO HAVE BECOME DRIVEN BY DEMONIC FORCES,
AND BY THEIR OWN PRIDE AND ARROGANCE AND WEALTH.
 
They choose to ignore the voice of God, and they refuse to see the warnings that he has continuously brought to our land. When we ask God to move his hand, we must ask with the intent of the Lord saving the wicked from his own demise. And yet we know that there will be those who will not see.
WHEN SCRIPTURE USES THE IMAGE OF GOD’S RIGHT HAND, IT IS MEANT TO BE A PICTURE OF THE PINNACLE OF STRENGTH AND ABILITY. In passages that specify God’s right hand, his strength is a key focus.
One of my favorite verses is the following.
“Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven
With the saving strength of His right hand.
Some boast in chariots and some in horses,
But we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.” (Psalm 20:6-7)
 
The Right Hand of God is outstretched for his people for Protection and Salvation
Psalms 44:3 says:
“For by their own sword they did not possess the land, and their own arm did not save them, but your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, for You favored them.”
And Psalms 17:7 says
“Wondrously show Your loving-kindness, O Savior of those who take refuge at Your right hand  from those who rise up against them.
 
THIS LAST VERSE I SHARE IS PACKED WITH SUCH BEAUTIFUL TRUTH.
I believe it is exactly what many of you need to hear right now.
Psalms 18:35 Says
“You have also given me the shield of your salvation, 

And your right hand upholds and sustains me; 

Your gentleness [Your gracious response when I pray]
makes me great.”
 
MY FRIENDS, IT IS IN GENTLENESS AND INTERCESSION THAT MAKES US GREAT.Great in the eyes of God, because we choose to move and flow in, HIS image. Yes, judgment will come, and God will move with fierce and complete fire when he brings justice. But, he is long-suffering, and he waits patiently and gives many opportunities for hearts to change.
Jesus is still praying and interceding right now in this moment for us, and intercedes for the world. But, he does bring warnings, and just as he wrote on the wall, God is beginning to point his finger to things in each of our cities, and he is going to bring justice and judgment as well.
 
WE CAN SHAKE OUR FISTS ALL THAT WE WANT AT THE EVIL PEOPLE AROUND USand make poignant posts on social media that we hope others will read and be motivated by. But in the end, the greatest force and the greatest power and the greatest kindness and grace that we could possibly ever operate in is, when we become those who choose to pray.
 
WE BECOME PLUMBERS BY USING THE PLUMB-LINE OF PRAYER
TO PUSH OUT THE UNCLEAN AND THE UNHOLY,
SO THAT THE FRESH CLEAN FLOW OF THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN ONCE AGAIN
BRING TIMES OF REFRESHING AND PURITY TO THE BODY OF CHRIST,
AND THEN TO OUR CITIES.
 
THE LORD IS GOING TO BEGIN TO SHOW MORE SIGNS AND WONDERS JUST LIKE THE HAND IN THE SKY THAT HE FORMED OVER THE CITY OF DENVER.
I’m going to share in my next podcast about yet another supernatural event I had when I began to prayer walk during the time of COVID-19 lockdowns. I had a very supernatural event take place and now in retrospect, realizing exactly what the Holy Spirit had me do and say, has driven me to a place of understanding that when we are yielded in God to prayer, and yielded to allowing the Holy Spirit to pray through us, he will speak things and show us things that only God can do.
I ENCOURAGE YOU TO BECOME MORE TENDER HEARTED AND CAST AWAY BITTERNESS AND HATRED AND DESPAIR. Ask the Lord to drive you into a place of greater Intercession, because his hand is reaching out over your city and is reaching out over your leaders, but it is also pointing towards the signs that tell us we are to become people of Intercession and apply that prayer within our own lives, in order to see God move in a mighty way.
 
HE IS ABSOLUTELY HOLDING US!
Isaiah 41:10 tells us,
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you, and
I will uphold you with my righteous
Right hand.
 
IN CONCLUSION
There are many seasons in life.  Proverbs tells us there is a time for every purpose under heaven.  Beloved, I believe it is time to draw near to God, to prepare our hearts for His presence. 
There simply is no substitute for the presence of God!
David was a king. His life was filled with many responsibilities and he was clearly very passionate about many things.  Yet he wrote, "When You said, 'Seek My face,' my heart said to You, “You, O LORD, I will seek' " (Ps 27:8).
 
IF THE HOLY SPIRIT WERE TO WHISPER TO YOUR HEART THAT HE WANTS MORE OF YOUR TIME, WHEN THE LORD SAYS, "SEEK MY FACE," WHAT DO YOU SAY? 
Oh beloved, here is the true battle for your soul!
Your victory is not in getting more data and information about the evil days and treacherous news cycles, but in your answer to the Lord's call. 
The result of seeking God is that He guides us into an absolutely fearless life. (see Psalm 27:1-4).  David says, "For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock." (Ps 27:5).
 
TODAY, WITH SO MANY DISTRACTIONS, WHAT PLACE DOES THE LORD HAVE IN YOUR LIFE?  If He called you to deepen your walk, to seek His face, how would you respond?  When He says, "Seek My face," what does your heart say to Him?
I love Paul’s instruction in prayer that he gave to Timothy in 1st Timothy 2:-1-3
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way” because “This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.”
 
PLEASE. PLEASE!  JOIN ME RIGHT NOW IN THIS MOMENT OF INTERCESSION
AS I PRAY FOR MY CITY, YOUR CITY, ALL CITES.
 
Father, turn our cities from the power of darkness to light, open their eyes that they might receive forgiveness of sins.
We pray for our cities LORD. 

So much turmoil is affecting so many. 

Help us reprioritize in these desperate times. 

Teach us to number our days.
 
Give us love for You and one another. 
 Give us wisdom and discernment.

Forgive us. Renew us.
 
We pray against the evil schemes of the enemy.
He is a liar and a murder. From the beginning, he was so. 

Help us resist His temptations.
 
Preserve our lives, LORD. 
Help us have peace in the middle of the storm! 

Strengthen our faith and love. 
Give us hearts full of thanksgiving.
 
We depend on You.
We do not put our hope in medicine, Policy, leadership or human might, but in the Lord of Hosts, the Holy One of Israel.
 
Be with every honest and godly leader and minister Lord.
Keep their eyes on truth, and Frustrate evil at every turn.
In the Name Christ Jesus our King, we pray, Amen!

”THIS CURRENT SEASON OF DIVINE TENSION” - PULLED AND TESTED - STRETCHED AND RESTRAINED

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, 
though a man's misery weighs heavily upon him."
Ecclesiastes 8:5-6
 
NOTE: At the end of this podcast there is a short spontaneous song of the Lord that was recorded in a small studio several years ago. There were other wonderful and gifted percussionists and musicians joining in as the Holy Spirit moved through us all and gave me the beautiful melody and orchestral keyboard accompaniment. My hope is that it will stir your heart to worship and be even hungrier for the Presence of the Lord in your life.
In all of our lives as believers, we face times and settings where there is a feeling of being pulled and tested, stretched, and restrained. Often, during these excruciating events, those who avoid personal character development tend to give unrestrained advice, spiritualized platitudes, and often, trumped up words of so-called prophetic inspiration to help us not suffer so!
As we begin to see the Lord's plan in all of this we also come to understand that if we are not first hearing His voice, His heart, His word in the matters that are straining us, nothing any man or woman says can bring the ultimate light of clarity and release! 

 
WINTER SPRING SUMMER AND FALL
 
We all face seasons of change that correspond much like the four seasons we observe yearly. Nothing is more surprising than to have an interruption of what we presume to be what is "normal" for an earthly expectation, in one of those seasons.
When a sudden ice snow storm blows in unexpected in the late spring in the Colorado fruit growing regions and encrusts the tender blooms on fruit trees and garden plants, we are devastated by the loss of not only the blooms, but also the fruit it could have produced. It appears as if there has been a cruel storm sent to cause crop failure.
 
WHAT IS THIS CURRENT SEASON OF DIVINE TENSION ALL ABOUT?
For many who are hearing or reading this message, you feel as if you have experienced a "Crop failure," perhaps several, and just can’t take one more aching disappointment. Many hearts have passed their tender agonies to me on paper, in emails, texts, and through the telephone.
 
ANGUISH HAS ITS OWN PERFUME 
I too have heard the whispers of the voices of darkness try to entice, with wearisome words of worry, paranoia and doubting!
"Give up!" they say! "What good is this time of shaking doing?"
"What possible good can come out of believing that there is something occurring that will bring a fresh advancement when all seems to have stalled or strained?”
And yet, another set of voices would tempt with words of esteem whispering;
"Make it happen! 
Proclaim mighty deeds and things to come with fervor, flair and well-honed words of impact!
Use it or lose it!
Promote, push, and publish! It is all yours for the taking!"
 
BOTH OF THESE VOICES COME FROM THE SUBTLETIES OF THE SOUL AND WELL OILED SPIRITUAL VOICES TRAINED BY THE PRINCE OF LIES AND FLESHLY IMPULSE.
 
But.
In the midst of these strains and attempts to distract comes a clear undeniable "Divine Tension" that pulls and stretches the heart of the humbled believer.
It calls simply, firmly, and does not lack a depth of confidence and direction.
This “Presence” causes a clash with all that seems to be "the way of man" and will not relent.
 
THE EARTH IS IN TURMOIL

It doesn't take much to understand that the earth is in upheaval, rivalry, and chaos wherever we look. There is a tangible and penetrating "tension" in the events we are seeing unfold every day. Parallel to this explosion of pure evil and lulling to sleep of many, there is a Divine Course being laid out for those who have come to the end of them.
 
ETERNITY IS IN THE SIGHTS OF THOSE LOOKING TO A KINGDOM YET UNSEEN.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have been preparing a bride. 
This is done only through the shaping tools of heavenly choice.
The chisel and hammer have been at times brutal and unflinching, yet, when the soft hand of The Almighty begins to apply the oil of polishing, He does it with His own hand as well.
He makes it beautiful in His own timing, even though the “Divine Tension” seems as if it might cause us to "snap" under the pressure of His hand, smoothing away the roughness of our thoughts and soul's intentions.
 
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the hearts of men;
Yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
 
HEARING, REFINING, HEEDING
 
The King of all Glory is training those who have been thrust on the altar of fire to hear from Him as one who strains to catch the song of a bird in distant meadow.
It takes the "spiritual ear" and training it to identify even the slightest note or sound, however distant, and to learn to silence the sounds and voices of distraction until the  "honing in" on the sound, the glorious sound of peace, finally directs and sustains us with all that we hear.
And then, having drunk deeply of the Voice of the Beloved and Divine Counselor, quickly, without mental filing way of instructions or overthinking, we move and heed His mapping out of plans for this appointed time.
 
RISING FROM THE ASHES OF THE REFINING OF GOD

So! Unto those who hear this word from heaven, claiming you are one of Heaven's very own, know that you are being formed and fashioned into sober, clean containers, prepared for infilling.
My Spirit will fall upon those who are not seeking to lay claim to My voice, but instead HEED My voice and SEEK My face. 
They shall be examples of purity in My Kingdom and will not strive among the self-promoting and “wordy". The broken will be safe in the arms of these who have passed through the current season of being pulled and tested, stretched and restrained and they will restore the devastated.
My "faithful hearts" will not be compelled to build agendas for Me and My Presence, because I will BE the Presence that creates the Manifestations of Glory and Might in the earth, without the fanfares of men.
YOU HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO DESPERATION IN ORDER THAT I MIGHT RESTORE YOU TO INSPIRED LIVING, IN FULL FELLOWSHIP WITH ME.
Isaiah 61
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
Because the LORD has anointed me
To preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim freedom for the captives
And release from darkness for the prisoners,
To proclaim the year of the Lords’ favor
And the day of vengeance of our God,
To comfort all who mourn, 
And provide for those who grieve in Zion
To bestow on them a crown of beauty
Instead of ashes, the oil of gladness,
Instead of mourning,
And a garment of praise, Instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
A planting of the LORD
For the display of his glory and splendor.

“THE SPIRIT OF GOD SPEAKS! DREAMS - VISIONS and PROPHECY. OH CANADA!

TODAY I AM GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE TRUTH AND REALITY OF HOW GOD, AND WHY GOD USES DREAMS AND VISIONS, WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE, WORDS OF WISDOM AND PROPHETIC WORDS TO DIRECT US, ENCOURAGE US, AND TO PROTECT US!
I’m also sharing a very recent dream that I had and how it confirmed God’s plan for a local church that Steve and I were invited to minister at.
SO OFTEN PEOPLE THINK THE LORD ONLY SPEAKS TO “SPECIFIC PEOPLE” AND THAT HE CANNOT SPEAK TO THEM IN THE SAME WAY. So, I think we need to understand clearly as believers what the Lord said in Jeremiah 33:3.
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
He also says in the book of James if any man lacks wisdom let him ask of God who will give to all liberally and will not withhold it!
The one big catchall is that people think God‘s going to speak to them at the same time or in the same way or in the same fashion he has previously, and so when they don’t hear from him the same way all the time, they wonder somehow if they’ve missed it.
 
TIME AND TIME AGAIN THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT NIGHT VISIONS AND DREAMS THAT THE LORD USED TO INSTRUCT HIS PEOPLE, AND TO PROTECT THEM! 
Here are a few Bible verses that give examples of biblical dreams, provide guidance on how to verify the source of this type of revelation, and show God's purpose in using them.
Amos 3:7 – "Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."
Daniel 1:17 – "To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds."
Job 33:14-15 – "For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds. 
ONE THING ABOUT HEARING FROM THE LORD IS THIS. 
There has to be an element of the Word of God undergirding anything you receive in a vision, in a dream, or through other people who are used in the prophetic gifts of word of knowledge and word of wisdom! It is out of the word of God that prophecy then is solidified!
 
I’M GOING TO SHARE WITH YOU ONE OF MY MOST RECENT EXPERIENCES to encourage you to know that as we act upon what the Holy Spirit shows us, he can then move corporately. He likes to move among groups of people!
 
STEVE AND I WERE RECENTLY INVITED TO SPEAK AT A WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP NOT TOO FAR FROM OUR HOME IN A CITY CALLED BRIGHTON, COLORADO. So, we were praying about it and told the pastor and his wife that we wanted to pray first before we committed to saying we would come, because, we wanted to make sure what we were supposed to share, and to be sure it was the right timing.
We had gone to bed one evening and I had gotten back out of bed up to get some water and was just restless and not ready to sleep. I read for a while and finally got tired enough to go back to bed and fell into a deep sleep. 
I THEN HAD A VERY VIVID DREAM. In the dream I was standing up behind a pulpit or podium, and Steve was standing there with me and I looked out into the congregation and I saw a young man who was very tall and had on a gray colored t-shirt, he had a beard and had a baseball cap on and was wearing black framed glasses. He was halfway between the congregation and about six seats in and he was to my right as I was facing him. 
AS I WAS STANDING THERE, I FELT THE HOLY SPIRIT STANDING BEHIND ME. He said to me, “People want to receive their prayer language. If you will tell people exactly what I want you to say, I’m going to move on and within them today. They’re going to experience the fullness of my joy with their prayer language by speaking in tongues.” 
So, in the dream I said these words, “I had a dream and the Holy Spirit showed me that they were people here who would be moved on by the Holy Spirit and will receive the blessing of praying tongues, and there are many here who have been afraid of it or who have not been able to get a release for some reason when they were prayed for. As I stand here and begin to pray the Holy Spirit‘s going to come on you in a very gentle and soft presence, and we’re just going to all lift our voices and in that moment and you’re going to be able to be released to pray in tongues.”  
In the dream, I was watching the young man and I pointed out him and I said,  “You are one who has been wanting the Lord to bless you with speaking of tongues aren’t you” and he raised his hand up and was crying and he said “yes”, and in that moment I just said to him that the Holy Spirit is gently touching you right now, just begin to open your mouth and begin to speak, and he did! He immediately began to pray in this beautiful prayer language and then the whole place erupted with people cheering and crying and the room was filled with the Spirit of God and the whole room was lifted up in worship and praise to God with people praying in tongues and laughing joyfully. There was lots of crying and worship, because they could feel the love and kindness of the Lord everywhere.
 
I THEN WENT BACK TO SLEEP AND SLEPT DEEPLY I GUESS, BECAUSE WHEN I WOKE UP IN THE MORNING I WAS AWARE THAT I HAD SLEPT LONG AND HARD.Steve was already up and was drinking coffee and reading, so I told him about the dream and that the Holy Spirit had said that there were people at this church (the church’s name is “Fearless Church”) that had been wanting to receive their prayer language and speak in tongues, but they just had not had the release, or, anyone help them with that. So I told him that the Holy Spirit said if we will tell them that the Holy Spirit said that there were those to be filled today, the Lord would honor it and he would do a great and precious thing in that service.
 
NOW, WE HAD NOT YET BEEN IN THIS COUPLE’S NEW CHURCH FACILITY BEFORE BECAUSE WE HAD KNOWN THEM FROM THEIR OLDER BUILDING LOCATION.
When we walked in, it was exactly like the building that I saw in my dream which was amazing, because I didn’t even realize it until we walked in, so I knew this was definitely the time and the place for what God was wanting to do with this special meeting.
After very beautiful worship, Steve got up and began to share his message and was teaching. I was just kind of looking around and then paying attention to what Steve was sharing and you could begin to feel this calm and peace come over all of us. 
 
STEVE SHARED ABOUT THE LOVE OF THE FATHER AND ABOUT HOW MUCH GOD IS CALLING US TO A PLACE OF GREATER HUNGER FOR HIS PRESENCE.
As he began to wind up that part of the message, I joined him on the platform and began to share about what words of knowledge and prophetic ministry, (what they were), and as I looked out into the congregation, there was the guy halfway down the middle to the right about six seats in that I had seen in my dream.  He had on the exact same gray T-shirt, he had the beard he had the black glasses and he was very tall.
 
I JUST BEGAN TO ACT OUT AND SPEAK EXACTLY WHAT I SAW IN THE DREAM THAT THE LORD HAD GIVEN TO ME AND I SAID THE EXACT WORDS, and sure enough this young man lifts up his hand and we began to lift our voices and he was immediately overwhelmed with the power of God, and began to speak out in his prayer language.
 
WE BEGAN TO TELL OTHER PEOPLE TO BEGIN TO LIFT THEIR VOICES and do the same thing, and the entire room began to speak out in their tongues or they were praising God or just praying in English, and some people were praising in Spanish, but for a long time there were many people were just spontaneously being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking with the evidence of tongues in languages they had never spoken. 
NOW, THIS LED TO A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF JOYAND ALL WERE SHOCKED AND IN AWE AT THE PRESENCE OF GODSUDDENLY OVERWHELMING THEIR CONGREGATION!
 They had been through a very difficult time since they had had such lockdown and restriction problems and pressure from the local government. There had been a lot of grief and death and a lack of continuity in the people. It seemed as if the Holy Spirit just wanted to come in and bring this peace and hope to them.
 
NOT TOO FAR AFTER THAT THEN, WE BEGAN TO MINISTER IN THE PROPHETIC GIFTS OF WORD OF KNOWLEDGE AND WORD OF WISDOM.People stayed for an additional full hour! We did not ask them to do this!  They were hungry to be loved, they were hungry to be at peace, and they were like gentle lambs receiving the word of the Lord, even some words that were not easy to receive.  But the atmosphere was primed, simply by a dream that the Holy Spirit had given to me, and then asking us to obey him and act on what we had seen and heard in the dream.
 
WHAT I’M SAYING ABOUT ALL OF THIS IS THAT,SOMETIMES IT TAKES JUST A DREAM OR A VISION OR A THOUGHTTHAT COMES TO YOUR MIND WHILE YOU’RE GOING ABOUT YOUR DAILY BUSINESS.
It is a catalyst then that the Holy Spirit can use to open the door to a sweeter or greater move of God in a meeting or a gathering, or in a coffee shop, depending on where the Lord happens to have you go.
He knows exactly what to do in every situation that we are sent into, and knowing the timing of the Lord was right for us to go minister to this body of believers, was all because of the fruit of prayer.
 
I NOW WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SHARE OR UPDATE YOUABOUT SOMETHING THAT THE LORD HAD ME SHARE A FEW MONTHS AGO REGARDING CANADA.

MANY OF YOU ARE AWARE OF THE THINGS GOING ON AT THE CANADIAN BORDER AND OF COURSE, THE ENTIRE GLOBE IS FIGHTING TYRANNY. 
In this prophetic word the Lord had me share something that I did not understand at the time, but I knew that I needed to deliver the word AT that time. Now in review, it is happening and coming to pass.
 
HERE’S WHAT THAT WORD SAID.
“Canada will experience one of its most prosperous seasons ever known, for a short season.
 The Lord would have Canada know that they must deal fairly with the wealth that they will produce and pay back the First Native families, and with Godly equity. 
If this is not addressed with wisdom and integrity, Canada will have to pass through the sorrows of disobedience.
Canadian Intercessors are being awakened and called up to stand in the place of prayer for its leaders and tribes.
Now is the time for soberness, It is not a time for silliness and laughter. 
It is a sober day, with a command for sober prayers. 
 "Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect)". - 1 Thessalonians 5:6 
“So get up! Stand UP! Be Purposeful,” says the Lord!
How do you not know that through your borders I can bring a North American Wave of Justice and Restoration?” 
 
As you have just heard or have just read, the Lord knew these events were going to take place on the border of the United States and Canada way before I ever spoke it out.I am certain that the Lord spoke these words or similar words to other men and women of God.
 
MONTHS AGO HE BREATHED THESE WORDS OUT SO THAT OTHERS MIGHT HEAR THEM AND PRAY ABOUT THEM.I believe that when the Lord gives a word especially specific to any nation, it is first a call to prayer and repentance. From that then, the outbreak of moves of God can take place.
 
I ENCOURAGE YOU TO NOT FEAR THE SUPERNATURAL. If you are grounded in the Word of God and a person filled with the spirit, God is going to speak to your spirit and instruct you in the way you should go. He is not going to talk to your mind, because you will talk yourself out of anything that takes risk or costs you laying down your own intellectual reckoning.
 
WE ARE LIVING IN A TIME WHERE HEARING FROM GOD  WILL LITERALLY SAVE YOUR LIFE. It is not a time to hope we have everybody else hear from God, and tell us what to do.I am almost certain that anything I share today is something the Lord has been stirring in the hearts of the majority of you that are listening. And it is confirming things deep in your spirit that you needed to have sorted out in order for you to proceed.
 
MY PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY IS THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THERE IS A STIRRING IN THE HEART OF GOD TO MOVE UPON HIS PEOPLE IN A DYNAMIC AND EXTREME POWER THAT SHAKES THE CORE OF EVIL IN THE WORLD.
It will cause a great upheaval, because darkness resists light. 
But light penetrates past darkness. 
 
YOU ARE A LIGHT IN THIS WORLD, BECAUSE OF THE LAMP OF CHRIST INSIDE OF YOU. 
Take the bushel basket off and let that light shine.
Yes it may cost you something.
If it doesn’t cost you something to be strong in the Lord then we are pretty much guaranteed to be lukewarm and passive.
 
THESE ARE THE DAYS THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR YOU AND I.
He planned for you to be here today in this very hour in this very moment. He has words to speak out of your mouth that are his words that will help break the darkness over peoples lives that have no ability to understand how captive they are to the narratives of the world.
 
Don’t underestimate the power of God’s words coming out of your mouth when you are talking to someone. 
It takes just one anointed obedient act to set a captive free.It takes just one obedient act done while stepping out in courage to open the ears of someone who has been deafened to truth most of their life.
If the words are rejected, understand that a seed went inside of them and was planted. Someone else may come along and water that seed, and someone else may harvest what comes from that.
But in the end you were obedient to plant the seed, and all of the joy and the glory and honor of a new soul or someone set free, goes to Jesus.
 
Psalm 31:24 is what I want to speak over each of you today!!
TAKE COURAGE!
“Be strong and take heart, 
All you who hope in the LORD.”

I am ready to revisit areas that have advanced my purposes but retreated at the day of battle. 
 
THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE SHAKING OF GOVERNMENTS. 
There must be a confrontation of governments. My government on earth is arising and causing entire regions to shake. I am restoring and rising up leaders. 
 
IN THE PAST SEASON, MY GIFT WITHIN LEADERS COULD NOT FIND ITS PLACE IN MY GOVERNMENT. However, now I am causing governments and gifts to divinely “find one another" and to connect.
 
This is creating great shakings from region to region throughout this land.
This alignment is creating a shift in civil government.

There will be great connections occurring in My Body in this advance.

LOVE AND CONFIDENCE IS ARISING IN MY BODY.

My all-consuming light will address the idols and temples of religious shame and control. 
 
I HAVE GIVEN SO MANY WHO CALL THEMSELVES “MY ANOINTED” MUCH, MUCH, TIME TO DEAL WITH THE HIDDEN SINS.
Sins in their marriages.
Sins of competition, jealousy over who is used by me, and harsh verbal words of shame used to control and break the will of another servant in my calling.
Some have called themselves my servants but have only served their own purposes in a place of self-comfort and self-promotion, letting others do the labor in prayer.
 
 Jeremiah 7:24 says,
“But they did not listen or pay attention;
instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their evil hearts. 
THEY WENT BACKWARD AND NOT FORWARD.” 
 
 
DEAL WITH YOUR WEAK AND COWARDLY ATTEMPTS AT HOLINESS, THROUGH REPENTANCE AND HONESTY OF HEART BEFORE ME AND OTHERS WHOM YOU HAVE BEEN WALKING IN FELLOWSHIP WITH.
THE DAYS OF PERSONAL AMBITION AND HIERARCHY ARE NUMBERED.
 
 
MY FIRE MUST BE IN YOUR HEART!
The fear of the Divine Supernatural is to be removed from you.
Many have fallen into fear over the supernatural spirits that have surrounded them. Therefore, they have retreated in their prayer life and fallen into passivity.
 
 1 Samuel 12:24 says,
“But be sure to honor the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you 
 
THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW DAY! PLANT YOUR FEET.
The window of opportunity for change is short and sweet.
 
THIS WILL BE A TIME THAT NIGHT WATCHES ARE RE-FORMED IN YOUR REGION, AND I WILL REVISIT YOU IN THE NIGHT WATCH.
I will visit my bride as I described in the Song of Solomon and knock upon her door. This is not a time for hesitation.
Night watches will spring forth across the nations.
Once again these watches will open the door to me, and I will come again.

”GOD HEARS ALL - GOD SEES ALL - GOD WILL NOT FAIL YOU” - A PROPHETIC WORD FROM THE HEART OF THE FATHER

Before we go into today's podcast, I would like to let you know that this is a prophetic word from the Lord and it’s addressing where the majority of people are right now, and where many others have been. 
I’ve also been prompted by the Holy Spirit to begin sharing with you several  near-death experiences that I have had in past years as well as a few truly humbling and powerful supernatural events with the Lord that were not at all something I asked for nor expected.

The stories I will be sharing will not only move your heart to joyful tears, but also stir courage and hope!

As the days begin to change and the seasons take their course, so am I also beginning to adjust the path you have been treading out.
“I have been keeping track of all of your sorrows,
Collecting them and all of your tears in a bottle.
I have written down your tearful sorrows…
…In My journal.”
Psalm 56:8
 
MANY HAVE PASSED YOU BY ON THE ROAD OF SORROW THAT YOU HAVE HAD TO BEAR, too busy to stop and comfort, too concerned about what others might think of your condition. Others are only focused on their own forms of grief and have yet to learn to comfort others in their weariness and tiredness.
 
I HAVE ENCOURAGED ALL OF YOU WHEN OTHERS ARE HAPPY, BE HAPPY WITH THEM!
If they are sad, share their sorrow. (Romans 12:15) Even the Samaritan, one least likely to reach out, stopped and cared for the man battered, hurt and sorrowful left on the road.
Many who claim spiritual piety and goodness, turn their heads and hearts when they see another brother or sister aching in sorrow or tragedy.
Let it not be heard about you my child in the heavenly realm, that you protected your own comforts or your own position and turned away from a brother or sister in their prolonged agony.
 
I HAVE BEEN TESTING THE HEARTS OF MANY WHO LAY CLAIM TO A WILLINGNESS TO DO ANYTHING I ASK OF THEM, but sadly then “pass on the other side" in order to avoid involvement with what "appears to be" one who is struggling or failing. As you do to others, so in your time of need will it be done to you!
I YOUR FAITHFUL REDEEMER HAVE HEARD THE HEART WRENCHING CRIES FROM YOUR PRAYERS, and I am even now giving you strength and empowerment to stay firm and continue to believe that I will restore all to you that has been shattered, stolen, or shamed!
"It is God who gives us, along with you,  t
he ability to stand firm for Christ has commissioned us.
He anointed us!"   -2 Corinthians 1:21
 
I HAVE ANOINTED YOU EVEN IN THIS SEASON OF SORROW!
And I will bring a fresh and pure expression of Godly living and giving into the earth through those we who see that they are being prepared as good Samaritans and who themselves are also being cared for by others who require nothing in repayment.
Many are hearing my voice calling to them to bring relief to those who have been faithful in obeying my voice but have been persecuted heavily for doing so!
 
OBEY MY COMMAND QUICKLY! ACT NOW!
Bless them, help them heal, providing for them like I would! You will be greatly rewarded for this effort.
“As you give them even a cup of cold water in my name,  
You have done it for Me!”   - Matthew 10:42
 
As you have been faithful to believe that I have better plans and a better way than the schemes of men, Very soon I will wipe away your bitter tears and despair.
You have begun to understand what it is to fellowship with My sufferings!
In the days ahead, you will also share in the first fruits of harvest.
"God, who has called you into fellowship
with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful."  -1 Corinthians 1:9
 
COME JUST A LITTLE NEARER TO MY HEART NOW. THE NIGHT IS NEARLY OVER.
You will see that the time of sorrow and weeping will pass, and a breaking through into the greater plan for you is in motion. I have been into the future for I AM all that you will need.
YOUR ONE SIMPLE ACT OF OBEDIENCE SETS INTO MOTION WAVES OF MY REDEMPTIVE GRACE AND PURE HOLY CLEANSING.
The Nations are waiting for those who will only speak out of clean motives and pure hearts. I have prepared you for this time in the earth and I will fulfill all I have planned concerning you.
ENTER IN BY HUMBLING YOURSELF FURTHER BY DOING SIMPLE ACTS OF MERCY AND SELFLESS GIVING.

"The Longing And Aching Deep Within Your Heart"

The World is in an absolute Turmoil!! Lives are in shattered grief! 
Sound familiar?

MY HUSBAND STEVE AND I HAVE MORE OFTEN AS OF LATE HAD SUCH A STIRRING AND AN ACHING IN OUR HEARTS.
We've had a need, to talk over and deeply ponder many “questions of the heart” and have spent hours in dialog then crying out in messy prayers to the Father, shedding many tears, much of them in unintelligible sobs and choked out words.
The World is in an absolute Turmoil!! Lives are in shattered grief!
Sound familiar?
 
WE’VE WEPT AND PRAYED...
...For those who are forever stirring up and demanding others to “push, to give, sacrifice” —serve "me", do for "ME", give more at the job! And yet, many of these individuals who push others so terribly hard, hide internal rage and insecurities, not heeding the warnings about their own home life and poor social practices, nor dealing with the seething anger and strife boiling within their souls.  And, all too often they project shame onto others, bullying them, then demand respect regardless of what needs to be addressed in their own behaviors.
 
THIS IS WHERE TRAVAILING PRAYER COMES IN.
Where you "gut it out with God", standing before Him in what is called supplication.
Or, in more clear words, it's an appeal, a request for help.
"HELP OH GOD! HELP! Only YOU can address this person, this situation"!
 
OH THE TONGUE! IT IS A FIRE!
The tongue represents the world of wrongdoing among the parts of our bodies.
It pollutes the entire body and sets fire to the course of human existence
-- And it is set on fire by hell.
-James 3:6
 
Steve's and my little piece of trying to warn about and address these things as we minister in various places and gatherings, and also meeting people for ministry advice, comfort in child rearing in a nasty digital age, and in pastoral counseling, well, we are seeing a massive escalation of many families fighting (young and old).
 
A STEADY STREAM OF PEOPLE RESISTING THE TAKING OF “HUMBLE STEPS” towards the change that would spare others deep wounds.
We are also learning to be even more careful about our own words.
 
WE LIVE IN A WORLD THAT IS PASSING AWAY.
Every day this occurs and it edges us closer to the time of choosing whom we serve....
...Not whom we "casually have knowledge of" or a limited commitment to.
 
I’M EVER SO AWARE OF THE NEED TO LIVE, LIMP, TO EXSIST,
EACH MOMENT OF THE DAY IN "THE PRESENCE",
IN FULL EXPOSURE TO THE PROBING EYE AND HEART OF GOD.
 
I WHISPER REPEATEDLY,
“Have your way Father.
Have your freedom to do your work in me.
Have your way.”
 
ARE YOU BEING DRAWN INTO A PLACE OF DESPERATE ABANDON TO SEPARATE YOURSELF AND RE-EXAMINE THE PATH UP AHEAD?
Friend, yield to the tears, the examination and probing of your heart, and speak out to the Father about all of it.
ALL OF IT.
 
THESE ARE THE DAYS WHERE YOU AND I CAN “CHOOSE.”
Chose to grow, move forward, and live simpler and choose to travel along narrower paths.
OR
Draw back and remain dull, returning to the familiar and comfortable settings where WE “choose” to steer the course of our hearts.
There’s no humility there friend.
None.
Just self-protection, empty of any real mature, repentance.
 
WHEN THIS HAPPENS, RELATIONSHIPS DRASTICALLY CHANGE.
People go into hiding, isolation, numb living, compartmentalization, and they “shut out” help.
 
CHOOSE THE WAY WHERE "PEACE LEADS YOU".

The heavy judgments of those who rarely risk authenticity and carefully orchestrate their control over what they allow to penetrate past their insecurities and pride, are fully engaged in denial and can absolutely be ruthless and punishing.
Let them be surrendered to God my friends.
 
Hand the entire setting over to Him and then, go about the humble work of digging new wells for those who value the effort that it takes. They will so appreciate the cool cup of water that you serve them in the loving name of our Redeemer Jesus.
 
Samuel Chadwick was a deep man of prayer, and learned how to not only stay "in it", but was know for "sticking to it".
He said:
"There is no way of learning to pray but by praying.
No reasoned philosophy of prayer ever taught a soul to pray.
We know not what we should pray for as we ought ot, and if prayer waits for understanding it will never begin.
We discover by using. We learn by practice.
Though a man should have all knowledge about prayer, and though he should understand all mysteries about prayer, unless he prays he will never learn to pray."
