"The Cry That Broke The Silence" - EMMANUEL "God-With-Us"

AS I PREPARE THIS PODCAST OUR HOME HAS THE AROMA OF BANANA BREAD FILLING THE AIR WITH A COZY WARMTH.Soft Carols are playing in the background. My dear Steve has gone bed for now.
He’s been working on a carpentry project for my Christmas present.
 
AS I SIT HERE, MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE MOVED WITH TENDERNESS FOR THOSE WHO ARE GRIEVING over the recent miscarriage of a 22 week old baby, a friend who has had a sudden death of a family member, those friends of mine tending to the sick and fragile, and for the widows I know, who ache for the arms of the one they loved so well for so long.
My heart is saddened by the weariness of knowing single friends of Steve and I are longing for rest and still have hopes of meeting another godly person who might be the one to nurture and live them.
ALL OF THE KINDNESSES AND BEAUTIFUL THINGS OF CHRISTMAS, truly, when wrapped up in compassion, outreach to those who are hurting, personal sacrifice so that others may thrive, and with discernment to know when these things are God nudging you, this is what makes the true value of Christmas shine.
 
CHRIST CAME TO GIVE.
He came to give all.To tend to all those that were held captive, to set them free, to open the eyes of the blinded and the cerebral intellectuals who refuse to hear the truth.
But yet, HE came!And HE is still speaking today, still pursuing those who run from him.
 
WHEN GOD BREATHED THE BREATH OF LIFE
INTO EVERY HUMAN BEING...
...IT WAS HIS BREATH
 
As long as there is breath in a human, it is the breath of God.God will pursue every human being, regardless of how they feel towards him. This is the love that came down at Christmas. And this is the love that stays. People can run. But they cannot hide from the light of God.
 
AS I SHARE THIS BRIEF BUT WARM AND HEARTFELT PODCAST WITH YOU, I wanted to share something so profoundly, beautiful and so well spoken. I’ve read over and meditated/ pondered it many times during this Christmas season because there have been disappointments! There have has been betrayals, harsh words, indifference, people pushing you away because they can’t receive the love you offer them.
These are the things Jesus experienced on a regular basis, and yet in his perfection, he continued to pursue the will of God in his life, and eventually, it COST him his life!
 
THAT LITTLE, WEE BABE IN THE MANGER TROUGH, He was filled with the fullness of God and was God, but chose to walk out in human flesh, incarnate, the life of everyday human beings, in order to prove that he was aware of the suffering and the sorrows of this human life in a fallen world.
 
AS I SHARE THIS BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSION FROM ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL BY THE NAME OF JESSICA JECKER, (who is an influencer on another social media site), I hope that you will allow it to saturate any part of you that is suffering or that is resisting love, or, is perhaps angry at God, questioning why life is so hard, or where you may have become bitter and hardened to the tenderness that is available to each of us.
 
LISTEN CLOSELY TO THE CRY OF MALACHI AND WHAT GOD‘S WORD SPOKE. Listen to the words of one pondering the beauty and the fierce sacrifice that Jesus so humbly and willingly yielded to so that we might truly celebrate a Savior.
HERE IT IS:
“This week, I lingered in the final breath of Malachi’s words and I felt the unbearable weight of what followed.
When the prophet finished speaking, heaven did not answer. The echo of his voice faded...and then... nothing.Four hundred years of silence.No open vision.
No burning word.
No prophet rising with fire in his bones.
No “Thus says the Lord” breaking the darkness.
Four hundred years of waiting.
Of longing. Of groaning.
Of hearts lifted toward heaven that seemed sealed shut.
Generation after generation was born into the quiet.
They lived. They died.
And still—no voice.
Until one night. On a dirt floor in a forgotten place...
in a stable that did not look holy...
in the shadows of obscurity and insignificance... a sound was released.
After four hundred years, heaven spoke again—Not with thunder, not with fire, not from a mountain- but from the lungs of a newborn.
A cry pierced the silence.A cry that split history in two.A cry that carried eternity within it.In that moment, the King of Glory stepped down into the dust of His own creation. The Eternal wrapped Himself in skin.
The Word became flesh—and cried.
The Son laid aside His throne and chose a manger.
Heaven’s highest treasure placed in a feeding trough.
He came low. He came meek.
He came breakable.
Wrapped in swaddling cloths, laid where animals ate, born beneath the looming shadow of a cross.
A Lamb born to be slain.
The Hope of a hopeless world breathed His first breath in the dark.
A weary world rejoiced as a young virgin labored and delivered its redemption.
In that manger, the Great I AM made Himself vulnerable.
Touchable.
Killable.
And with one holy cry, the silence was shattered.
The separation was broken. The way was opened.
Then, suddenly, heaven could not remain quiet.
The skies erupted with angelic voices declaring, “Glory to God in the highest!”
Wonderful. Counselor. Mighty God!Everlasting Father. Prince of Peace.With the cry of an infant, heaven invaded earth.Behold—our Redeemer. Behold—our King.Behold—the fulfillment of every promise.Behold—the sound that broke four hundred years of silence.Not the roar of an army. Not the shout of a king claiming His crown.But the fragile cry of God-with-us.He did not arrive with a sword in His hand, but with nails already written into His future.
He did not enter wrapped in royalty, but in cloths that foretold a burial. The silence was not just broken, it was answered.Every unanswered prayer. Every tear cried into the dark.Every generation that waited without seeing.
Every promise that seemed delayed but not denied. All of it converged in that single cry.That night, heaven did not just speak- heaven gave. God did not send another prophet.
He did not send another sign.
He sent Himself.
And in that stable, eternity took its first shallow breath. Omnipotence learned weakness.
Glory learned humility. Love made itself small.
The cry that shattered the silence would one day be echoed again- not from a manger, but from a cross.
The first cry said, “He has come.”The final cry would say, “It is finished.”
From swaddling cloths to grave clothes, from a feeding trough to a borrowed tomb, He came to be broken so we could be made whole.
And even now, that sound still reverberates.
It calls the weary. It awakens the forgotten.
It reaches into the places where heaven has felt silent again.
If God could speak through the cry of a baby, He can still break silence in our darkest night.
So behold Him.
Not distant.Not untouchable.
Not unmoved.
 
But Emmanuel.
God.  With. Us."
 
SUCH TREMENDOUS AND EXPRESSIVE WORDS!

Cry.
Ask Him to show you his love, his true self, his kindness.
His merciful forgiveness.
He’s listening.

Thank You That Jesus Came To Heal the Brokenhearted and to Bind up our Deep Wounds From Life on Planet Earth.

I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS PODCAST!
I know that we are fast approaching that day we celebrate and give gifts and just sit back and enjoy the beauty of the season, but, I know many people suffer during this time and, Jesus is there with you.
He’s understands you’re suffering and he understands where you’re stuck.
I encourage you to not hold onto those things that you want to manage or control or that you think, “This is just the way it’s going to, be it’s always been this way.”
That is fatalistic thinking and it’s really actually ungodly.
It’s an attitude that says, “I will control my destiny, and... I have control over my life because nobody else can help me.”
 
I ENCOURAGE YOU TO SOFTEN, TO TENDERIZE YOUR HEART BEFORE THE LORD IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS, and as you listen to Christmas carols and hear the words of “Joy to the World, the Lord Has Come, Let Earth Receive her King and Let Every Heart Prepare Him Room.”
That means it’s up to us to “prepare room” in our hearts to receive what the king has for us.
All the things the King has for us.
Some of it is discipline.Some of it is change.Some of it is repenting for just being angry ,
andsome of it is walking in fear.
Know this, that if we will prepare a room for him to come in and live and dwell, we can enjoy His presence in a greater way with us during this season and into the next year.

Staying Focused and Integral In A Treacherous & Chaotic World

A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A CRUCIAL PROJECT,
I found my life barraged and pressured by distractions of all kinds. Now, this is not an unusual pattern.
DISTRACTIONS COME TO STEAL OUR PASSION, OUR PURPOSE, GOD’S PROMISES, AND HIS PROVISION.
 
I have a scripture and a strategy that I use when distractions come to derail my focus now that really helps to keep me on track and focus on what’s in front of me. This can apply to everything from work, house cleaning, Counseling, writing and ministry, right down to sticking with the list for the grocery store, and not adding extra cheese and crackers and other goodies in the shopping basket!
 
WHEN NEHEMIAH WAS REBUILDING THE WALL, distractions came in the form of men calling out to him, high up on his ladder, to come down to discuss “their” important matters. These men presented concerns and rumors they feared to be truth, and, they were persistent and insistent that he come down and address the matters with them immediately!
Nehemiah responds plainly, 
"I cannot come down, I am doing a great work."
 
THERE ARE MANY DISTRACTIONS BEING HURLED AT THE BODY OF CHRIST CONSTANTLY.
So what do we do? 
We look those distractions square in the face and we say,
"We cannot come down. We are doing a great work." 
End. Of. Story.
 
WE HAVE NO TIME FOR DISTRACTIONS. 
THERE'S TOO MUCH ON THE LINE.
There's restoration to be done, broken down walls and broken down people to be filled back up, truth to be told, healing to be performed, love and justice to manifest and so on.
 
AND WHILE WE ARE DOING THESE ASSIGNED BY THE LORD TASKS,  (because if they’re not assigned by the Lord then we’re basically doing our own thing, not his important work), while we are doing the assigned things from the Lord, we pray. 
And by that I mean, we dialog with God our Father, and praise, and tell Jesus about the gratitude that we have for His life that He poured out for us, and speak back to Him the words He taught us in the 4 New Testament Gospels. And, we also allow the Holy Spirit of God to have access to our hearts, bringing a sweet exposure and conviction where we might need to have our hearts cleaned up and "grown up" further in the way God has mapped out for those He loves so very much.
 
When we do these things in reverence and determination
as we work, You will find that we do not have time
for distractions. 
 
WHEN GOD SPEAKS AND WHEN WE FELLOWSHIP WITH JESUS, and when the Holy Spirit is busy working in the dry and hard places of our souls, as we do that in our work, every single day, we do not have time for other distractions!  
We. Cannot. Come. Down. 
 
WE CANNOT TAKE TIME TO BE PULLED INTO CONVERSATIONS THAT ARE WICKED, "weasely", and filled with all kinds of narratives that have nothing to do with what God has and IS doing right now right in front of us in our daily lives.
 
THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE NOT TO BE INFORMED AND...
...that we are not to be advocates for godly truths. That is part of rebuilding walls that have come down in our society. But getting into non-ending dialogs and basically verbal fights with people who just want to prove a point is literally drawing us into distraction and frustration.
 
SPIRITUAL WARFARE.
It’s a Reality and Intense Fight for Good Over Evil! 
Listen ever so closely to these mighty battle strategies against distractions!
 
Now my beloved ones, 
I have saved these most important truths for last Instructions.
Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-your union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.
 Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!
Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. 
For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. 
Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all glorious and godly things and will rise victorious.
- Ephesians 6: 10-13
 
FRIENDS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST GOOD AND EVIL!
We are doing a great work! 
We are obeying God! 
And, let’s hope that we aren’t doing it with haughtiness or an attitude of being a little better than everyone else in the way that we serve God! No way!
Someone whom God has called to rebuild or to restore and to do every day jobs, understands that the distractions of ego or the distractions of frustration, often create breaks in relationships, breaks in friendships, and it kills the opportunity to have peace with God fully.
 
SO FRIENDS! 
REFOCUS.
Do not negotiate with distractions. 
Simply move on and put your hands to the great work before you.
Humbly. Purposefully. 
Without an attitude of needing to prove you’re heroic.
 
WE WORK, WE SERVE, WE LOVE, AND WE FIGHT, with our eyes focused on the One who rides at the forefront of our battles.
He’s there day and night, radiating comfort, wisdom, and grants discernment for every challenging situation that you and I will face.
 
MY FINAL PRAYER FOR YOU AS I CLOSE OUT TODAY’S PODCAST, is from Hebrews 13:21
“May God Equip You With All You Need For Doing His Will. 
May He Produce In You, Through The Power Of Jesus Christ, 
Every Good Thing That Is Pleasing To Him.
All Glory To Him Forever And Ever!
Amen.”

”THIS CURRENT SEASON OF DIVINE TENSION” - PULLED AND TESTED - STRETCHED AND RESTRAINED

"Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm, 
and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure.
For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, 
though a man's misery weighs heavily upon him."
Ecclesiastes 8:5-6
 
NOTE: At the end of this podcast there is a short spontaneous song of the Lord that was recorded in a small studio several years ago. There were other wonderful and gifted percussionists and musicians joining in as the Holy Spirit moved through us all and gave me the beautiful melody and orchestral keyboard accompaniment. My hope is that it will stir your heart to worship and be even hungrier for the Presence of the Lord in your life.
In all of our lives as believers, we face times and settings where there is a feeling of being pulled and tested, stretched, and restrained. Often, during these excruciating events, those who avoid personal character development tend to give unrestrained advice, spiritualized platitudes, and often, trumped up words of so-called prophetic inspiration to help us not suffer so!
As we begin to see the Lord's plan in all of this we also come to understand that if we are not first hearing His voice, His heart, His word in the matters that are straining us, nothing any man or woman says can bring the ultimate light of clarity and release! 

 
WINTER SPRING SUMMER AND FALL
 
We all face seasons of change that correspond much like the four seasons we observe yearly. Nothing is more surprising than to have an interruption of what we presume to be what is "normal" for an earthly expectation, in one of those seasons.
When a sudden ice snow storm blows in unexpected in the late spring in the Colorado fruit growing regions and encrusts the tender blooms on fruit trees and garden plants, we are devastated by the loss of not only the blooms, but also the fruit it could have produced. It appears as if there has been a cruel storm sent to cause crop failure.
 
WHAT IS THIS CURRENT SEASON OF DIVINE TENSION ALL ABOUT?
For many who are hearing or reading this message, you feel as if you have experienced a "Crop failure," perhaps several, and just can’t take one more aching disappointment. Many hearts have passed their tender agonies to me on paper, in emails, texts, and through the telephone.
 
ANGUISH HAS ITS OWN PERFUME 
I too have heard the whispers of the voices of darkness try to entice, with wearisome words of worry, paranoia and doubting!
"Give up!" they say! "What good is this time of shaking doing?"
"What possible good can come out of believing that there is something occurring that will bring a fresh advancement when all seems to have stalled or strained?”
And yet, another set of voices would tempt with words of esteem whispering;
"Make it happen! 
Proclaim mighty deeds and things to come with fervor, flair and well-honed words of impact!
Use it or lose it!
Promote, push, and publish! It is all yours for the taking!"
 
BOTH OF THESE VOICES COME FROM THE SUBTLETIES OF THE SOUL AND WELL OILED SPIRITUAL VOICES TRAINED BY THE PRINCE OF LIES AND FLESHLY IMPULSE.
 
But.
In the midst of these strains and attempts to distract comes a clear undeniable "Divine Tension" that pulls and stretches the heart of the humbled believer.
It calls simply, firmly, and does not lack a depth of confidence and direction.
This “Presence” causes a clash with all that seems to be "the way of man" and will not relent.
 
THE EARTH IS IN TURMOIL

It doesn't take much to understand that the earth is in upheaval, rivalry, and chaos wherever we look. There is a tangible and penetrating "tension" in the events we are seeing unfold every day. Parallel to this explosion of pure evil and lulling to sleep of many, there is a Divine Course being laid out for those who have come to the end of them.
 
ETERNITY IS IN THE SIGHTS OF THOSE LOOKING TO A KINGDOM YET UNSEEN.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have been preparing a bride. 
This is done only through the shaping tools of heavenly choice.
The chisel and hammer have been at times brutal and unflinching, yet, when the soft hand of The Almighty begins to apply the oil of polishing, He does it with His own hand as well.
He makes it beautiful in His own timing, even though the “Divine Tension” seems as if it might cause us to "snap" under the pressure of His hand, smoothing away the roughness of our thoughts and soul's intentions.
 
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the hearts of men;
Yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
 
HEARING, REFINING, HEEDING
 
The King of all Glory is training those who have been thrust on the altar of fire to hear from Him as one who strains to catch the song of a bird in distant meadow.
It takes the "spiritual ear" and training it to identify even the slightest note or sound, however distant, and to learn to silence the sounds and voices of distraction until the  "honing in" on the sound, the glorious sound of peace, finally directs and sustains us with all that we hear.
And then, having drunk deeply of the Voice of the Beloved and Divine Counselor, quickly, without mental filing way of instructions or overthinking, we move and heed His mapping out of plans for this appointed time.
 
RISING FROM THE ASHES OF THE REFINING OF GOD

So! Unto those who hear this word from heaven, claiming you are one of Heaven's very own, know that you are being formed and fashioned into sober, clean containers, prepared for infilling.
My Spirit will fall upon those who are not seeking to lay claim to My voice, but instead HEED My voice and SEEK My face. 
They shall be examples of purity in My Kingdom and will not strive among the self-promoting and “wordy". The broken will be safe in the arms of these who have passed through the current season of being pulled and tested, stretched and restrained and they will restore the devastated.
My "faithful hearts" will not be compelled to build agendas for Me and My Presence, because I will BE the Presence that creates the Manifestations of Glory and Might in the earth, without the fanfares of men.
YOU HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO DESPERATION IN ORDER THAT I MIGHT RESTORE YOU TO INSPIRED LIVING, IN FULL FELLOWSHIP WITH ME.
Isaiah 61
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
Because the LORD has anointed me
To preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim freedom for the captives
And release from darkness for the prisoners,
To proclaim the year of the Lords’ favor
And the day of vengeance of our God,
To comfort all who mourn, 
And provide for those who grieve in Zion
To bestow on them a crown of beauty
Instead of ashes, the oil of gladness,
Instead of mourning,
And a garment of praise, Instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
A planting of the LORD
For the display of his glory and splendor.

New Winds Are Blowing - Yet There Is a Risk! Insights For Uncertain Times When The Spiritual Climate Is Changing

My spiritual discernment tells me...... That a change in the spiritual climate is coming.
Yes.
There ABSOLUTELY is risk associated with the shifting of your focus, choices and standards.
For some, there is risk that the newness that God is bringing will also bring an ending to their way of doing things, an ending to the security of the past.
For others there is risk that they will be the people called to forge into new territory in the power of the Spirit, to announce and help build and steward the newness that God is bringing.
I often ponder (at times I stew and pace) about where the church is in this post-modern culture and where it desperately needs to be heading.
I feel a change in the air. I sense a new freshness and direction being orchestrated by the Lord in His church, meaning His people. I’m sure not smart enough to know what all that means nor am I able to predict the future, but the signs are there.
My spiritual discernment tells me...... that a change in the spiritual climate IS coming.
I’m not yet sure whether this is a storm or the just the rains after a drought, but I have an inkling that it may be the wind of opportunity that promises a new beginning that I hear blowing. It may just be the fresh winds of the Spirit that will bring the “showers of spiritual blessings” that people used to sing about, but most likely.... this is not the case.
 
Our world and our culture are changing rapidly all around us.
With new communication technology and increasing global interaction, we face a world that will be absolutely different from the one which we have lived in for so long.
Our own society is changing.
There are new ways of thinking and new ways of doing things.(Think self driving cars and drones delivering pizzas!)
The year were are in just sped through and was just a date on a calendar, but that date caused us to take a long look at where we have been and where we are going. And, when we looked closely, the changes unfolding all around us have surprised us, or at least it surprised me!
Of course, some want to see changes, ANY changes, as threatening.
And so they move into a doomsday mode and adopt a negative view (Think the Jonah Syndrome). They fight most any kind of change as a change for the worse.There ARE things to be concerned about WITH some changes. But where some people see only problems, others see opportunities.
Change can be threatening, scary, and hard!HARD H A R DWORK!
However, the people who study these things say that times of change are the best opportunities for people to respond to God. The uncertainty and discomfort that any major change brings, opens the door to reevaluate your life and ask questions about your purpose and what in your life has meaning.
If that’s true in individuals, I am pretty sure that it’s also true of society. And it’s true of the church.
Studies and Stats show that there is more interest in religion and spirituality in the world at large now than there has been in the last half-century.
Of course, some of that spirituality is of the weird and twisted kind, and certainly not Christian. But, that also tells us that there are opportunities to proclaim the Gospel, in Love, with authentic compassion and yet without compromising.
Honestly speaking, I’m not sure what all that means for the church. The message hasn’t changed, and the truth hasn’t changed, but the world has, and how we speak and express the truth will need to change in order to speak to that world.
New winds are blowing. The spiritual climate is changing. The smell of fresh breezes and fresh showers are in the air.But one thing is certain.
There will be no status quo.
There will be no “going on as usual”.
The changes, are already in process.
We can’t change things just because we decide it should be done friends!
That’s presumption!
If we say we want GOD’S plan(s) for change, we have to get the blueprints from Him. But, we CAN do it as God calls out to us and reveals to us where HE is working in the world. And then, we can do it!
We can RISK as we listen, hear, and respond to that call, as God enables and graces us with the courage it will take to “adjust the rudder” of our ship.
I don’t know about you, but I'm going to be watching closely for the changes in the spiritual weather.
And I’ll be listening carefully so I don't miss the voice of God in the darkness.
If someone asks me about a voice that they may have heard calling their name in the night, I’ll be ready to tell them to say these words.
“Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening."
"The Lord came and stood there and called as he had before, “Samuel, Samuel!”Samuel said, “Speak, Lord. I am your servant and...... I am listening.” -Samuel 3:10

THE “REIGN” OF GRACE - AND THE “RAIN” OF GRACE 
MERCY FOR THE MERCIFUL

In 2020 the conviction of God will be strong to cleanse the heart of falsity, 
fear of man and the passivity of half repentance for works of the flesh. 
 
We can get all the people that we know around the globe to pray for us and to pray over us, but we cannot force out the devil and the darkness of our own unforgiveness and intentional blame-shifting. We give the enemy consistent access to our churches and our lives as long as we “lord it over others”, hiding our own sin, pretending that God does not see.
In order to have the times of refreshing we are crying out for and are desperate for as believers, we must learn to rule and reign with grace.
Refreshing rains will not fall, and cannot fall in full glory, when we refuse to lay down judgments, manipulations, and self invented spiritual “rules” that do not run parallel with the King of grace who is the ULTIMATE Mercy bringer.
Mercy. It means to perform out of a desire to relieve suffering, and is motivated by compassion. The action of forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm. Mercy shown prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.
In 2020 THE SPIRIT OF GOD DESIRES EVERY BELIEVER 
TO DO THEMSELVES AN ETERNAL FAVOR. 
TELL THE TRUTH.
God will protect you more for doing this than any self-invented cover-up ever could. And, you just might regain relationships with those you have used as stepping-stones to your own deviant self-empowerment.
THE HEAVENLY KING OF GLORY  IS ALWAYS AND FOREVER CREATING NEWNESS OF LIFE
If we are indeed man or a woman of prayer, the test will come of that deep prayer life when your enemies surround you, accuse you, and often attempt to execute and silence you. Some will manifest in this next year as false friends who use and abuse your friendships and contacts in order to gain access to notoriety and power, over all of the things you are supposed be repairing for yourself. They will exhaust and weaken you until you once and for all put upon the altar of surrender, any need for someone else to carry you or promote you.  
A man or a woman of prayer in these days, right now, will learn to sweep out iniquity, falseness, slander, and “hierarchical pecking orders” through goodness and humility.
This is a time to trust, to depend upon, to lean upon, the goodness of the Lord. 
This is a time to trust in His sovereignty more than ever. 
It is His right to define what grace is. It is not man’s right. 
 
Prophetic Exhortation for 2020
“And so says the Lord, the Spirit of Grace,
the Voice of Wisdom, and the only Almighty One. 
As you cry out for times of refreshing, for a change in the hearts of men, for a move of my Spirit across the lands of Earth, my command to you is that you begin to create an atmosphere where I may speak My plans according to My Word and according to My prerogatives.
I will lead you and guide you with enough light each day as you come to that narrow place with me. I will strengthen your weakened spiritual muscles as you dialogue in honesty with me and repent of foolish choices and foolish actions that have caused many to be shattered and shamed because you spoke out of a calling, rather than out of following my voice.
Begin to dig ditches in prayer. 
Become entrenched and immersed in it, never ceasing. Prepare places where my rain may fall and cause a fresh drinking place for those yet to taste of my goodness, as well as for those who are thirsty within my Body.
 
Begin to dig ditches in prayer in dry places, with humility and goodness. 
Lean upon me, trust in me, do not lean upon your own understanding, for you have well seen that having done this in the past you have missed many opportunities to prepare a way of salvation for others.
 
“I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.” (Isaiah 48:10)
So comfort yourself, weary and tried believer with this thought.
Does not the word come like a soft shower, quieting the fury of the flame? 
Is it not a fireproof armor against the heat, which will then have no power? Whatever happens to you in this valley of weeping, know that I have chosen it for you.
 
If you still require an even greater comfort, remember that you have the Son of man with you in the valley. In that secret place with you.  
There He sits by your side, One whom you have not seen but whom you love, and whether you know it or not, this is the true friend who sticks closely by you.
I will never leave one whom I have chosen as my own.
 
Great grace. Great mercy. Great promise. 
All these are yours, extended from my hand, and for you to extend from your hand.
 
NOW IS THE TIME…
…to live out the heart and life of the servant as I lead you with the little light that you have at this time. 
It is all you need as long as it comes from me. 
It is a time to learn to march forward, to dig ditches, to prepare, so that others may also drink freely with no restraints.
When I come and speak to you and move among you, I express everything that is pure and lovely and has a good report, and sin and uncleanliness depart.
Peace also rains when I move with humble power.
Gentleness will be the result of my transforming power. 
Harmlessness will follow, for hearts that are touched by me are never exhibiting any feelings of superiority, self-assertiveness, or showiness.
 
My grace is sufficient for you, and you will find it if you will seek it, and above all if you will express it.
 
“Be strong in the grace that is in me.” (2 Timothy 2:1)
As a reservoir empties itself into pipes, so have I emptied out my grace for my people in this next wave of My Heart. 
Of my fullness you have received grace for Grace. Grace is always available from me without price.
“Keep yourselves from overconfident, arrogant sins.” (Psalm 19:13)
You will certainly stumble if you look away from the One who is able to keep you from falling. Be very cautious about pushing yourself to the forefront of public gatherings and among the more visible.
If you are to be used in higher visibility, let it be Me who promotes you there. Some who drive themselves to the forefront will also have greater scrutiny and unfortunate exposure of hidden agendas and unholy transactions in 2020 and sadly will be brought low again because of their self presumption of importance. 
 
If your love is fervent, your faith constant, and your hope bright, continue nonetheless to be on your guard and cry out, “Keep us from temptation!”
 
The  seasons revolve according to my Divine appointment and man cannot change their schedule. In the spiritual as in the natural realm, man’s power is limited.
I alone can remove the winter of spiritual death from an individual or from a church.
Let me hear you say, “Not my will but as you will oh Lord! 
As you yield to me my people, I will yield in return and bring the sweetness of my Holy Presence into your very homes, your gatherings, whether modest or larger numbers are attending. I look for honest, wisdom filled, and humble people to move among and to move through.  
Let it be, as I desire! As I will!  Allow me to determine  what is the best for you. 
Be content to leave your prayer and your petitions in my hands.
I know when to give, how to give, what to give, and what to withhold.
As you visit me in the secret place of repentance and brokenness, as the path becomes narrower, seeking me earnestly and often times pleading, with humility and resignation, you shall surely prevail.
I am the light on your pathway. And, I AM all you need.”

"A Place At the Table"- A Promise For Those who Feel Displaced And Broken Hearted

The Lord was tremendously intense with me about the preparation and study that went along with the prophetic insights and words intermingled with this message. I would like to encourage you to read it all thoroughly and to not only skim through it quickly.
This is an hour when the Word and the Spirit are being brought together to demonstrate the ultimate power of Christ!

 "A PLACE AT THE TABLE"
A PROMISE FOR THE DISPLACED AND BROKEN HEARTED"
A Prophetic Insight

"Mephibosheth ate at David's table as one of the king's sons. 
Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, for he ate endlessly at the
King’s table, even though he was crippled in both feet."
- 2 Samuel 9 vs. 11b-13
 
Just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy and completed, to perfect her by the washing with water through the word, and to establish her to himself as an exultant church, without imperfection or wrinkle or any other defect, but holy and guiltless.
After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church for we are members of his body. This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church.
Ephesians 5: 25b 32
MEPHIBOSHETH: MEANING "ONE WHO SUFFERS SHAME"
The name was a joining by two members of the family of Saul - his son and his grandson. Let's look at this man Mephibosheth.
His life is a picture of a life of disaster, disappointment, and anxiety.
You think you have troubles?
In reading the story we already know that Mephibosheth is motherless and fatherless, because he is under the care of a nurse.
2 Samuel 4:4 also says that at the age of five his father, Jonathan, David's best friend, was killed in battle along with Jonathan's father, King Saul. To add injury to insult, we are told that when Mephibosheth's nurse heard the news of the murder of Jonathan and Saul, she panicked as she ran from harm's way. And in her running, the nurse dropped the child - causing him to become crippled. So the baby prince who was in the line of succession to the throne became a crippled beggar living as an orphan in hiding.
What should have been a life of wealth became a life of misery, tragedy and heartbreak. While his family was being assassinated, murdered, and banished, his future, as a king would never be fulfilled.
AND MORE THAN THAT, MEPHIBOSHETH WAS PERMANENTLY SCARRED!
We can relate to Mephibosheth's being a victim of sad circumstance. Perhaps you can even testify to being victimized by other's mistakes for yourself. Like Mephibosheth who trusted his nurse, some of us can relate to being dropped by those in whom we've placed our trust.
We're living crippled lives because a person in whom we loved and gave our hearts to...has dropped us.
JUST LIKE MEPHIBOSHETH WE KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE DROPPED BY SOMEONE OR SOMETHING THAT WE'VE TRUSTED.
Our lives are still suffering from the crippling effects of those disappointments. Everyone has been "dropped" in some way. And if you haven't, you will be. Some are still so proud in heart that they never admit to any weakness and therefore shame those around them who stumble their way to the cross of redemption.
It's no wonder that we are afraid to trust againbecause we've been lied to or used as scapegoats for the escape of others who hide their sins and egos behind loud opinions about how others should behave or...might have done better in the way they have handled the things that have happened in their life's journey!
MANY ARE AFRAID TO TAKE CHANCES BECAUSE OF PAST FAILURES.
Many more are afraid to follow their heart because the plain idea of making one more mistake sends shivers through them. We can't handle another anguish. Sometimes it feels as though we are hanging on by a fine thread.
If God is a merciful God, we wonder when we're going to start seeing the mercy. Our words echo the psalmist as our soul cries out,
"Lord, have mercy on me!" "Have mercy on me, Lord"
BUT THE THING IS, THERE IS MERCY...  ...IF YOU WILL SEE IT.
If you will allow that mercy to saturate your soul. If you'll see that you have an important role to play in that mercy. In fact, "mercy" is really the only reason that you and I are existing today, whether you know that or not.
You are here today because at some level - consciously or subconsciously - you know that God has been and is merciful to you and you are expressing your appreciation for that mercy. You are here today because you know that despite the hurts that have been inflicted upon you, you want to trust, you want to go on, and you want to find hope.
THE TRUTH IS THAT THERE IS BOTH A BIT OF MEPHIBOSHETH AND 
A BIT OF KING DAVID IN ALL OF US.
And, perhaps a bit of King Saul's fear of the loss of power, position, and need for control and honor. That is, we have been hurt, but we have also been healed.
We have been helped, and we also have opportunity to help others. We really have received mercy, and we can offer mercy as well.
WHEN MEPHIBOSHETH WAS CALLED INTO DAVID'S PRESENCE, HE WAS TERRIFIED!
Why shouldn't he be? As the grandson of dead King Saul, Mephibosheth was an heir to the throne that David now possessed. So his first thought was that the king would kill him because he might see him as a threat.
Secondly, Mephibosheth has experienced little in his life that would make him believe that something good could happen to him, so he expected injury. His own words were, "What is your servant that you should look ona dead dog such as I?"
Then King David sent and brought him out of the house: Mephibosheth must have been terrified when messengers from David knocked at his door and demanded that he come with them to see the king. In the back of his mind he must have constantly anticipated the day when David would do as other kings did and murder every possible enemy to his throne.
UP TO THIS POINT MEPHIBOSHETH AND DAVID NEVER HAD A RELATIONSHIP AND IT WAS BECAUSE MEPHIBOSHETH WANTED IT THAT WAY.
HE AVOIDED DAVID OUT OF UNFOUNDED FEARS. BUT DAVID REMOVES THE FEARS OF MEPHIBOSHETH.
Verses (7-8) So David said to him, "Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father's sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually."
Then Mephibosheth bowed himself, and said, "What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?
Mephibosheth didn't feel worthy of such generosity. He considered himself a dead dog, meaning a worthless and insignificant person.
All the years of hiding from the king and Living in fear and poverty made Mephibosheth thinks of himself as Worthless.
THE OFFER OF MERCY
David didn't want to add to Mephibosheth's Misery. David offered mercy.
Mephibosheth - in his amazement and skepticism - is restored.
No, he didn't retrieve the ability to walk. Mephibosheth's weakness did not vanish. The end of the scripture is clear about that. "He was crippled in both feet."
But he was given a place at the table of the king.
This goes far beyond giving Mephibosheth what was rightly his!
THE HONOR OF A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE KING
David gave Mephibosheth the honor of a close relationship withthe king. The miserable, unfair, undeserved events of his past didn't change. But he was re-established within the kingdom and given an opportunity to live out the rest of his life with dignity.
Because David - the King - was merciful.
 
DAVID KNOWS THAT HE HAS BEEN AN OBJECT OF GOD'S MERCY IN HIS LIFE.
That he has already been delivered from extreme circumstances and from ...his own unpredictable behavior.
David is merciful, because he has received mercy - a melody that will continue throughout David's entire life, even when David didn't deserve mercy. And - on another level - David knows that, as he acts as the status of king - also by God's anointing, and not his own skill - that he must model the mercy of God within the kingdom.
BLEMISHES OF THE "CRIPPLED" BRIDE
Just like in Ephesians 5 are the blemishes of the "crippled" bride...she is much like Mephibosheth.
Hiding, fearful! And....the King of our souls, Jesus...restores and cleanses us...brings us to His table as His Bride, and covers our lameness, our disfigurement underneath the linens of the bridegroom's table where no one dare point out our imperfections.
We are perfected BY His Mercy! David knew that human beings and a society that exist without forgiveness and mercy are already doomed to self-destruction by their bitter doubt.
JESUS DIED FOR THIS VERY REASON. SO THAT WE MIGHT MODEL HIS KIND OF GUTSY FORGIVENESS AND MERCY.
AND SO THE STORY FALLS TO US AS EMERGING LEADERS IN THE KING'S KINGDOM!
We who are like Mephibosheth who have been injured by dreadful circumstances and by careless people; and we who are like David, have the opportunity to be instruments of mercy.
We who are like Mephibosheth and David who have received mercy; and we who must decide if we will live lives of resentment because of prejudiced facts or ...live lives of gratitude because of undeserved and unexpected mercy.   The story falls now to us.
BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE. 
AS WE HAVE BEEN VICTIMIZED,
WE HAVE ALSO BEEN DELIVERED.
Remember, David - the King - had to decide if his kingdom would be one of dread or grace. David had to decide if his realm was going to be established on grounds of vengeance or the refinement of mercy. In being an instrument of grace, David is setting the stage for his great, great, great grandson Jesus, who will be the ultimate expression of mercy to all of us.
In the entire history of humanity no one was more misunderstood or viciously abused than David's ultimate successor, Jesus. Yet no person was ever more merciful.
AS HEIRS OF DAVID AND CHRIST IT IS NOW UP TO US TO PUT INTO PRACTICE THE VERY TREASURE THAT DAVID HONORED IN THIS STORY.
Loyalty, respect, unwavering love, and the well being of others.
Like David did for Mephibosheth, God has honored and blessedus with the promise of eternal life, inviting us to dine at His table, in His kingdom eternally. Also, God does this, not because of any goodness upon our part, but "because of Jesus."
THAT IS WHY WE ARE HERE TODAY 
AND WHY WE ARE PART OF THE BRIDE OF JESUS CHRIST.
WE ARE HERE BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN BROKEN.
And because He has restored - and is restoring - US by His mercy, He invites us to His table, we MUST look around to see who else needs a place at the table, on His behalf! Not out of our great "earned reputations" or past accomplishments! No!
We as models of the Fatherly and Motherly compassion of a heavenly King invite others, to the table of "covering" and honor. We bring mercy, expressed with "tender hearts."
The best person to want to be like is not always the strongest or the best looking!! When we become like Mephibosheth, we can truly understand mercy and grace.
BEING LIKE MEPHIBOSHETH MEANS:
Realizing that the king sought me out.
Understanding what I deserved from the king.
Acknowledging the ones who brought me to the king.
Humbling myself in the sight of the king.
Rejoicing in the words of the king.
Accepting the provision of the king.
Adjusting my life to the requests of the king.
Psalm 51:12
Restore to me again the joy of your salvation,
And make me willing to obey you.

And so, we wonder why the Father must bring those “times of refreshing” only after we repent and deal with our tendencies to want to have everything lined up, functioning like well oiled machines, and…"Controlled!" “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, That times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”  Acts 3:19THE FATHER HAS NEVER STOPPED CREATING! He has never ceased to impart brilliant creativity and mind-blowing new discoveries to mankind! He makes things new EVERY MORNING!It is what we do to God’s creative plans that sour the way it was intended to produce fruit and seed.AS THIS NEXT WAVE OF GOD’S DIVINE PLAN BEGINS TO BE “REVVED UP” IN THE EARTH, FOLKS WILL BEGIN TO ATTEMPT TO ARTICULATE AND DEFINE IT. MANY WILL TRY TO SELL IT, CAPITALIZE ON IT, AND……TRY TO CONTAIN IT.I FOREWARN YOU FROM THE SPIRIT OF GOD- Just as the manna went moldy if kept or “contained” longer than allowed, so will man’s attempts at trying to “bottle” and distribute this Fresh Wind of Glory which is beginning to manifest from the Throne of God.SPIRITUAL BALANCE AND A WARNING TO THE SENIORS AMONG USMoses arrived at the “gate” of his final destiny, the Quest for the Promised Land, but...it was not just the command of the Lord in action that He was required to model. NO! The attitude of His heart towards those coming up underneath him was what God became angered at and…which disqualified him from entering the Land of Promise. The New “Wave of Divine Glory and provision for another generation."And Moses and Aaron assembled the congregation before the rock and Moses said to them, Hear now, you rebels; must WE bring you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand and with his rod he smote the rock twice. And the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock.   Num 20:10-11                            These people having no water were frightened and rebellious toward Moses, calling out insults and being nasty. (When people are immature and desperate, this is characteristic of their behavior.)At first Moses went to the Lord about all this, instead of retaliating with name-calling. Then after the Lord told him to "tell" the rock to give forth water, Moses in his frustration and impatience yelled at those people calling them "rebels".      IMPATIENCE IS BROUGHT ABOUT BY "PRIDE"It's pride that lifts us up to the place of thinking we're better then others, therefore having the right to be impatient with them.God told Moses to speak to the rock in front of the people and from this rock water would come, giving the people the opportunity to see the power of God working on their behalf. But Moses in hitting this rock went directly against what the LORD told him to do. He not only hit it once, but he hit it twice! This being rebellion robbed God of any glory, as well as going much deeper then Moses realized.Moses had a life long struggle with anger, and he did not master it. He modeled the anointing with a crusty anger and a withering exasperation…at the people’s cries and need for provision."Fathers, don't exasperate your children by coming down hard on them. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master."Ephesians 6:4 (MSG)MAY THOSE AMONG US WHO HAVE HAD YEARS OF “PIONEERING AND DESERT WALKING” BE EVER SO CAREFUL IN THIS NEXT KINGDOM DISPENSATION to not become sour, harshly opinionated, or brash, and in so doing...strike out in anger at those now coming up asking the question of;  “Where is the water the fresh cleansing drink coming from?” REMEMBER:“From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; And from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” Luke 12:48b THE BLOW TO YOUR HEART WILL BE THE DISQUALIFICATION OF FINAL FRUITFULNESS. The Lord will send in an Aaron to finish the work. One who has learned the lesson of humility and trusting only in the Voice of God. Not simply dogged and teeth grinding follow-through without mercy or patience. For you see! That is what you have been painstakingly prepared for over the past few years or more! If you are fixated on finally becoming a “Voice” so that others might know of your personal greatness and oozing impartations, you too will be disqualified from the weight of glory that is going to fall upon the saints in this season. There is still time to adjust the insecurities, the hidden sins of presumption and ego stroking, and to simply… surrender. GOD IS LOOKING FOR THOSE THAT WALK WITH THE HEART OF DAVID, AND BUILD ONLY FOR HIS GLORY ALONE.Solomon answered, "You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day. 1 Kings 3:6FORERUNNERS ALSO BRING UP THE REAR! Not only will forerunners be pioneering pathfinders but they will also cheer on, “shepherd” and watch over the flanks of new and eager, younger legions of emerging pathfinders and “seers.” They will parent, counsel, advise, and pick-up and motivate the stragglers, the weary, and the shattered, bringing them into restoration and a family embrace. WHEN “STARS” START TO IMPLODE“What happens is that as the star's outer envelope ex-pands rapidly while the core collapses rapidly, a vacuum is developed at the interface of the core and the envelope. The result is comparable to what happens when a building is demolished. An implosion occurs; matter begins hurtling itself inward to the intensely hot core of the star.
